The Ant

And what is that you have with you, my tiny insect friend? Such ambition I behold, as you crawl across my hand You carry such a heavy load, for your larder, I suppose. You were sidetracked from your road, while on your way to earth below Were you to bite me, it will sting and I would think you quite unkind If you're my friend, then I will bring a second chance for you to find A deal I'll make, but you must know You mustn't bite me, if you please.... Then I'll put you down, and let you go to your home beneath the trees

That's so sweet, Carrie. I let a spider free who was residing by our bathroom sink -- but, I think, Lin killed it, anyway! Congrats on your win. ;-)

I love this, Carrie. Such an 'outside the box' way you addressed this theme, but such a powerful act of kindness in your 'second chance' offering. Congrats on your fine win in the contest. Hugs, Sandra
