Natural Satellite

orbiting her planet here
in my spacious long distance solitude

this synchronous rotation
only adds to my loneliness
watching her with a
three hundred and sixty five
twenty four seven obsession

peeking around crescents to catch a glimpse
getting attention by rare total momentary eclipse
but occasionally I am fully exposed
to the wonderful sight and beauty of glowing blue hues

there was a time when I was once part of you
you were once part of me
now only a crash course destiny
can bring us together

Premium Member Satellite

At the center of my orbit,
You were Jupiter, huge, remote,
Surface roiled by raging storms.
I was a dim, distant moon --
A tiny ice-bound clod
Eternally held at bay --
Still, snared inescapably
By your awful gravity.

A Shining Satellite

A Godsend, a child, our gift from On High.
Lord bless this one, all he can and must be.
Eternal, now our name will never die--
High flying creation of you and me.

Our greatest design, the plan is perfect
Build sturdy engines that jet to the top.
He must understand his future is set
Why won’t he cooperate? This must stop.

Ready for flight, geocentric orbit.
Dance in the cosmos, yet be sure it’s near.
High nerves in Houston, they note in a fit,
Escape velocity from this dim sphere.

Rocket off our scanners; what shall we do?
Bricks in the cargo of ship number two.

Satellite

Casting a calm reflection as I fly over clouds and beyond your sky
Blasting off into outer space to become your friendly eye
Tuning into your windows as just a silhouette of frequencies
Guardian and keeper It is your world that relies upon me

For those who have surrendered I control everything you see
Autonomy is just a memory just tell me what you seek
I dont know exactly where your going but I can surely guide you there
You can tell me all your secrets and I will transmit to anyone who cares

I orbit from universal positions I can dive into the deepest seas
As I formulate a digital image from your affect on me
Heaven in no closer to me but hell is somewhere down below
As I broadcast out a signal to anyone that wants to know

You may see me in Hi Definition or hear me on a old transistor radio
As I explore mans new horizons by connecting you within my artificial soul
And I will bring your imagination to other galaxies unknown
As I fly you past the milky way light years away from home
-Come visit-

Sputnik: the Phantom Satellite

Beep beep...ker er er...err err err
It can't be...
The telemetry...
It's Sputnik!
It's still alive!
I told my commander,
But he originally didn't think
Anything of it.
No sir! It really is Sputnik!
Listen to it's signal.
The Commander couldn't believe
What he was hearing, and witnessing altogether!
He turned ghost white,
It brought him to tears.
Commander?
Sputnik... I thought it had drifted away...
forever...

Premium Member Space X and Falcon Number Nine

There is a rocket firing off today
Sending a business adventure trip far away
With the thunder below
Up it will go
Looking to put technology in the sky
In a late afternoon scripted signature that everyone on the beach will wave bye bye
Falcon number nine is spending the dime
To climb climb climb
Calling the plays from the huddle
Very near to the pad for the shuttle
Internet interaction will be shared
In this mechanical bon voyage that has flair
Traveling to many orbits out there
Sixty broadband satellites will be dispersed
Into the vast universe
After the fact that been confirmed
Space X had money to burn
Linking the stars from above
With Intergalactic communication that fits like a glove
T Minus the launch will be here
Giving us new apps to play with next year

Night Time

All the day I wait for the night,
Before the night, I look for games and neon light,
Calling up my friends for this wonderful time,
Done punctually with my homework before this time,
Especial tent is made for enjoying the night,
From far away, this night tent looks like castle,
Grapes, apple, and papaya aren't allowed for this time,
Hamburger, cold drink and french fries are welcomed for this night,
I am the only one who doesn't sleep at night,
Just because I want to enjoy when everyone see dreams,
Knowledge of moon during its time,
Lonely, I might be studying its movement during its night,
Making noises may disturb the ones who enjoy their dreams,
Not only the people may be disturbed,
Our sleeping satellite might also get disturbed at its time,
Party at night time is full of joy,
Queen of night is none other than me,
Resting, sleeping and enjoying party like me,
Starts and ends only at night time!

Satellite Love

Love  [ luhv ]
noun
1.enigma
i.e.  - Your love was like a drug rushin through my veins
I got higher when we would play hurtful games
I would cheat on you, you would play with my insecurities till they ate me alive
You would think we would run, but deeper we would dive
I wanted a child & you wanted the same
Remember you would hold me tight when you came
To take care of me when I was hung over
You were my nurse all the get well supplies you bought over
You actually loved grandiose me you saw something in me that I couldn't see
Nurse me back for the next party tonight, nah I'm going dolo, I'mma call you in the morning aight
I really did love you but I didn't know how to show it
I want to take care of my responsibilities & you have to know it
DNA is stronger than you think
Just like the legend of Zelda we'll always have a link
I just pray that you & I can see eye to eye
& that no more tears have to fall from either of our sky

Satellite

before time was time
throughout all eternity
you were always there

sending out signals
waiting, patiently waiting
for me to recieve…

Inspired by the song 'Ripple' by the Greatful Dead

'It's a hand-me-down
The thoughts are broken
Perhaps they're better left unsung
I don't know, don't really care
Let their be songs to fill the air'

 Star light why so bright?
you're not a star but a satellite
You hover around like a drone,
but not a drone who is owned

I stare up into the dark night,
my focus has shifted
somethings not right,
fuzzy haze in the twilight

A hood covers its glowing eyes
It hovers in invisible disguise
Concentrate not on the orb
surrounding it lights absorbed

Once it's seen you can't unsee
you wish it were just a dream
Transparent is its shape and form
Is it alive or never born?

Like a wraith one of the undead
watching you from overhead
Will, it benefit mankind on its way,
or unveil itself on Judgment day?

Satellite

Procession of lights
Towards conservatory
Is life's satellite.

Satellite Falling From Orbit

Satellite Falling from Orbit

By Elton Camp

The Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite is on its way
Where and when it will crash, NASA can’t exactly say

Later September or early October the experts now estimate
But it is possible that it could fall from orbit early or late

Satellite will break into pieces once it enter the atmosphere
The largest chuck will weight about 300 pounds they fear

The satellite had enough fuel that NASA could direct its fall
But it is sad to say that six years ago they already used it all

They can only make a guess at the path the debris will take
One that, authorities say, is subject to a 6,000 mile mistake

Considering all this dire information that you have read
What is the chance that it will strike you on your head?

The probability of that happening is so extremely small
However, that doesn’t mean that there is no chance at all

Here is a fact that should help to allay anyone’s fears
Nobody's been killed by falling space debris in 54 years

Satellite Girl

I love that my little satellite

Orbits around my head

Spinning through my emotions

Where nothing need be said

Brings to me the moon and stars

On which to make my bed

My funny little satellite

That orbits around my head

In a mass of black out there in the beyond
Planets we know are in mirror respond

This vast we know as space in our time
All the planets are round symmetrical in rhyme

Will it's orbital allowance defy negative stream
Or is it back to the drawing board for man to again dream

Spaceships cubed with edges severe
When Warp allows will our technology wear

We live in a streamline, a streamline world
Our planet in decline but will our future be heard

The lucky ones will see, out there
For the unfortunate, saying goodbye in stare

And all they will see, is the moon in their sight
As their earth will become, another sleeping satellite
