My Pendulous Heart

Within the subtle soundless silence
There exist echoes of a lingering loud
My pendulous heart decrees in defiance
Such emotions plundered and ploughed

Like a geocentric giant guillotine
My lamenting love sacrificially sliced
My soul slaved in the Enigma machine
Where dreams are deceptively diced

The loving light battles the darkest day
And sorrows surrender at portals gate
For love barely escapes the submissive sway
Marauding memories reminisce and recreate

Stained surreal abiding accumulative art
A priceless painting of my Pendulous Heart.

If For Love You Lost Your Heart

If for love you lost your heart
To someone that care and share: a friend
You’ve got a case with the one who moulded our hearts
For your heart is meant to be sacrificially shared.

If for love you lost your heart
To the flowers and flavours of this world
Sit upright and pander on this little light
The flowers will one day fade and the flavours will fall.

If for love you lost your heart
To the golden cities, scepters and sword
One day you’ll say goodbye and they will never cry
For you met them here; a borrowed world.

If for love you lost your heart
Think of the creator’s breath in the beginning
We all borrowed for it to live, yet
A million breath remains with him.

If for love you lost your heart
To someone you love and cherish so much
Your heart is lying dead in the depth of lust
For the apex of love is not so weak as such…..

A Love Surrendered To Him

Lord, You see my heart.
You know it better than I do.
You know the prayers I can't even put into words,
The longings I don't fully understand,
The love I feel but don't know where to place.

If it is Your will, if it is part of Your plan,
Let me love her as You have called me to love.
Not with fleeting passion, not with shallow emotion,
But with a love that mirrors Yours
Steadfast, selfless, pure.

If I am ever to be her man,
Let me be more than just someone who stands beside her.
Make me a man who kneels for her in prayer,
Who leads with humility,
Who protects not just her heart, but her soul.

Let me be the kind of love that draws her closer to You,
That reminds her, in every moment,
That she is deeply known, cherished, and chosen
First by You, then by me.

I do not ask for love that is easy,
But love that is true.
Love that endures the storms,
That grows through every trial,
That finds its strength not in me, not in her,
But in You.

Let me be the man who speaks life into her when she doubts,
Who lifts her up when she is weary,
Who sees her not just for her beauty,
But for her heart, her faith, her purpose.

Let me love her as Christ loves the Church
Sacrificially, patiently, with a love that does not break.

And Lord, if this love is not part of Your plan for me,
If she is not the one You have written in my story,
Then let me love her still
By praying for her, by honoring her,
By rejoicing in the woman You are shaping her to be.

Let me never hold onto her tighter than I hold onto You.
Because before she is anyone's, she is Yours.
And before I am anyone's, I am Yours.

So I leave this love in Your hands,
Knowing that You write stories
Far greater than I ever could.

Amen.

The Ripple Effect

Of mountainous harmonic highs everlasting sacred skies, meadows evergreens
Our Love swiftly soars beyond the seraphical shores, of everlasting dreams
A ripple in the parental pond a wizard waving wand, love bewitchingly beams
Like birds in their native nests Love rarely rests, feeding on sensual streams

Love may take a waiting while you surrender to its smile, you give and receive
Once you've been bit you sacrificially shall submit, to the thriving thieve
It steals your humble heart as you comply and compart, to conquer and deceive
Like a rose in disguise chasing beauty and chastise, in the end we always grieve

But Love carries on like a softly swimming swan, thru ripples to the end of time
Come what may Love will always Satyr stray and rivetingly romantically rhyme.

The Fate of a Soldier

It was a special day and he’d hardly said his vows
When some gory militants struck in the northern part,
The groom’s suit he replaced with the soldier’s uniform
And the merry radiance faded to reflect his troubled heart.

As the journey north spiraled into the prickly thickets
He still heard the cheery songs cut short by the duty’s call,
The charm of his newly-wed’s kiss hung on his drying lips
And still could hear the echoing claps of those in the hall.

“The soldier’s portion is as bitter as gall…”
He thought as the precarious road got rougher.
The soldier must pay for the civilians’ peace,
By being self-denying, and sacrificially tougher.

And so our soldier and his mates were ambushed
By the enemy fire that caught them by surprise.
The newly-wed wife anxiously awaited the news
Of the operation that led to her hubby’s demise.

This unfortunate guy’s fate is what a soldier daily faces
Simply to guarantee the civilian the happiness he chases.

Premium Member Grateful am I to You, Lord

Dear Lord, Almighty...
You be honoured for Your grace
enabling servant-heart attitude
emanating from submissive and grateful spirit
helping me to be the steward striving to do Your will
as You keep on drawing me nigh to Your heart
esteeming You above all else...

My God, thank You for showing
how long suffering* You are toward me
though I appear arrogant and unyielding…
Please constantly teach my heart
of humility’s virtue, righteously rewarding
as genuinely exemplified by Christ, the Saviour
Who yielded Himself sacrificially, with love so exceeding.
Thus, I seek Your meekness-grace drive;
help me bear --- for Your sake,
every act I perceive as condescending!

My Saviour, Your long suffering for me
highlights Your merciful compassion at work
notwithstanding my service that’s unacceptable…
Kindly correct my soul against prayerlessness
and faith’s increase-failure due to vanity-stumble
for me to progress in Your holy kingdom’s pursuit
making my servanthood fruitfully favourable.
Hence, I need Your power’s fortitude;
empower me --- to live for Your glory
as Your Spirit does move my being!

*Exodus 34:6 …The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.

Existence In Exile

Existence in Exile

Dispensing realities of parallel dimensions thrown into alternate extensions
Panoptical parasitical pretensions lie the overlords of illegitimate intentions
Chaos encroaches an anomaly serving the omnipresent obsolescent odyssey
Travelers of space-time unconsciously rediscovering the past sacred geometry

Hemispheres of dormant deceptions live deceivers of maleficent conceptions
In the cosmic corridors of corrections and refueling in the abyss of reflections
Within infinite bubbles of the multiverse navigating neglectfully we traverse
A catatonic continuum we immerse as we ride the eternal elliptical in reverse

For now we welcome the wormhole entering worlds of the carcinogenic cabal
Into oleaginous oblivions we crawl with ideological illusions we habitually haul
Within a consciousness condemned and realities severely sacrificially stemmed
Amidst a hellion hyperspace suspend will we arise altruistic aligned and amend?

Premium Member Spilled Thoughts Like Blood

Can't see my mug
Put bum cream on my face
Thought I saw you drinking white wine
Too late to go to bed
Jumbled thoughts get you that way
On a long day
When the brain is drained
And the night is cold
Spilled the Jaegermeister
On the new carpet
The corners of my mouth
Are much better now
Thanks to the cream
Something I saw in my dream
Was that something in my reality
The glass full of drink
I took into church
Wasn't the cup of suffering
I thought it to be
Yet I spilled it on the rug
Dragged the 7 fin heater
Behind on the bike like a trailer
Thought it might tip
Crossing the railway
It started to rain
Didn't want it to get wet
Rested it on the veranda
At the old peoples home
But they might snatch it
As I have to go and do a job
Down the road a little
Nah, they can't afford it anyway
Can you see the connection
Between the metaphors?
As if the thoughts
Are spilled like blood
Sacrificially
Like the man who
Pulled a knife on me
To show me how he would cut
Both Achilles' tendons
So I'd never walk again
Only I gained some distance
On that imagined reality.
Yes, it is as if the thoughts are
Spilled like
Sacrificial blood.

Your Two Cents Worth

her name is not even mentioned in the Holy Scriptures
but the widowed woman who gave two mites left a lasting picture
when no one mentions their name most people get put out
but who cares about a name as long as God's business you're about?
as quick as she was mentioned in the text she was gone
but she left us a legacy on which to build on

it's not about you giving in a big flashy way
it's not about giving grudgingly and then proudly walking away
it's not about the Pastor calling out the amount of money you've given
it's about giving from the heart and how in Christ you're living
Jesus pointed out this woman's deed as something we all should discern
to give freely and sacrificially is what He wanted His Disciples to learn
to give your last two cents, what would it mean to you?
she gave her last two cents, would you give yours freely too?

in the Biblical days there was no such thing as Social Security
most widowed women lived in abject poverty
but she gave all she had, she did what she could
she gave from the heart and Jesus saw that as good
but what if it were you in the same position
what would you do? what would be your decision?

your last two cents coming from your heart
your last two cents priceless in the eyes of God
to give from the inside in tune with your spiritual self
as giving from the heart is not measured by one's wealth
as those who give thousands they tend to do it just for show
but to give your two cents worth is how you spiritually grow

so what motivates you when it comes to the Lord Christ?
what is the underlying provocation that rules your life?
the amount of money that you give is what mankind uses to measure
but the motivation for giving is the thing that God treasures
God can't use what you give if it's not freely given
it matters not the amount it's about how you're living

we want God to bless us but to Him we rob and short-change
He only asks for ten percent and even that we can't seem to maintain
we wonder why what we pray on doesn't seem to manifest
yet we aren't willing to put our two cents worth to the test
'
the blessings of the Lord add wealth without troubles
the blessings of the Lord only by Him can be doubled
your two cents worth would you give it to God?
your two cents worth make sure its coming from the heart

Premium Member In Everything Give Thanks

Whatever in life crosses our path
there is something to be thankful
what may look to be dismal and dark
but on other side see to be grateful

For always the divine hand is there
working by providence His perfect will
for eternal eyes sees all of future
planning His purpose so learn be still

Personally I can always give thanks
for my great salvation sacrificially paid
the love of God for me in Christ Jesus
His holy spirit indwells me never to fade

My dear wife Christine so full of love
giving me many years of blessed bliss
not forgetting Jean wife of earlier years
now in heaven left pointers to divine kiss

The Lord my God been so truly faithful
being always at my side all of the way
all thanks belong to king Jesus alone
such merciful; grace for my body of clay

Premium Member America's Signature Grandeur

Sprawling eagles' wings of freedom glean upon this God blessed land.

Huckleberries abound upon rich forest tapestry.

Salmon spawn in glistening waters aplenty.

Indigo mountains are crowned with crisp doilies.

Laughing waves clap upon coastal pebbles and sands,
with dunes designating an anticipated vacation.

Flatlands form the heartland foundation.

Demographically diverse are we.

Prideful skyscrapers collide with weather of every sort.

Churches, temples, cathedrals, and synagogues safely abide in city scenes.

A smorgasbord of aromatic awe permeates food cart streets, as authentic and varied as American souls.

With skin, hair, and eyes preciously unique, we share similar pleasures.

Churros, gyros, spatzle, spring rolls, kielbasa, pizza, and tikka masala kababs burst with awaited flavor.

Aquatic centers, theaters, stadiums, museums, amusement parks, festivals, and malls sprawl
with leisure excitement.

Families thrive as children are taught to read and write and parents sacrificially provide food, clothing, and a sanitary shelter.

We are free to own land, raise animals, and harvest from our garden.

Founded on Christian principles and faith, we work hard to earn our signature grandeur and pray hard to keep it.

Voodoo Stick

Behold the flageolet wizard wand —
at each windpipe end,
it toe tag taps the same dirge sound

Abominable Gomorrah black buries
to the left
Vile Yeti blinking Babel blue buries
to the right

This voodoo mint stick
shows you the same Al Jolson face,
no matter which dark side
of the hex coin you flip

Deep indigo Far West hue
is gonna bullet mark your forehead
with a transactional tattoo

Shallow turquoise shade rear East tint
will sunset your hope
with burning crosses double helix bent

Wooden voodoo baton
carved with pagan imagery
On each side of the prod stick,
cattle cull call
is tased with ballot trickery

Some pridefully pip
they be canary pawns of the right wing
Others proudly chirp
they be pigeon fawns of the left honking
And the independent night owl souls
sniff how the trade wind blows,
to decide on which way they gonna lean

Pogo patsies on a voodoo stick
bouncing to-and-fro billow mindlessly
Drowning their fears
in patriotic waves of I-pod conformity

They do the death dance,
head bobbing self-sacrificially so
Voodoo chicken tenders
turning on the fiery pit spit slow

Premium Member Planted and Harvested

If it is true
that only one fundamental,
all or nothing,
choice in evolutionary life is offered--

To eat
or become someone else's dinner

Then, are you choosing to remain
the Exclusive Eater,
Selfish Harvester,
or the Weakest Plant
not yet sacrificially eaten?

What if both could be true
for you?
Cooperatively planting
what we will inevitably harvest together

To gather only what we planted:
One both/and still connected nutrition system
depolarizing re-creative nuanced truths
across multigenerations

Offering an abundance of multiculturing
creolizing win/win options
transcending traditional boundaries
of cause or effect
causing effective possible options
to cooperatively reconsider
divinely fundamental
from-above reductive choices
not so regenerately
multi-nutritionally offered--
sacred communication proffered

InBetween plants
reproducing healthy empowering Yang seeds
and breeds
and feeding Pleasure

And harvesting
consuming
with enlightening yintegrity of bountiful love
and synergetic interfaith
nurture communicating experiences

Positive hope-investing in win/win
co-empathic energy
recreating plant through harvest
recycling Paradise
of polyculturally healthy options

None of which
include the reductionist
nihilistic view
of the Exclusive Eater
or the Only Good For Eating.

Premium Member Caring

Do all people we deem “friend” truly care
about us? Probably not. Do we
care deeply about each of them?
Perhaps we don’t! How dare I
say that? Do all of us
sacrificially
consistently
actively
show we
care?
Those
who, in
a lifetime,
experience
a FEW deep, caring
relationships with friends
and family are SO blessed!
“I care” should be proven with deeds.
True friendship goes beyond Facebook chats.
Lord, help me practice what I’ve preached today!
