Repentance

Repentance is hurt that leads you to healing
Fall on your knees and pray to learn how to deal with your feelings
From all your past sins and from all your past mistakes
It doesn’t matter Jesus died for all our sakes
All we have to do is confess our sins from our mouth
Before you know it God will surely bring you out
He is the only one who doesn’t hold a grudge
Even when you slip and fall He’ll give you that extra nudge
God will pick us up when we do stumble down
Will stand us up again and turn us back around
Will lead His children down the path of His righteousness
While holding us together with all His mightiness
Don’t listen to satan tell you that God doesn’t forgive you
His job is to keep you from getting your prayers through
If you are godly sorry in all the sins that you do
Remember repenting to our Lord is what is needed to get your message through.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness

Standing On the Promise

I'm standing on the promise to be good and honest
nothing is more important than being a servant for
the good of man kind nothing is more important than

to let my light shine everyday I wake every breath I
take I try to seek to keep perfect peace with my fellow man
no matter where I stand I want them to understand that life

is a gift only god can give for that I'm standing on the promises
to up hold to cherish to never let my thoughs parish to always listen
and sit still and let god do his will nothing matters more than this

that's why I am standing on the promises of love peace and happiness
I'm standing on the promises that no one can ever take this
I'm standing on the promises of god knowing that he is inside

every step I take every move I make everyday when I wake I take that stand
knowing that god has my hand.

The Gift

Everyone is born with it can you imagine someone born with one without it
this is something we all have this is something that will last
this is a gift given to us by god some gifts are hardly put into

words some gifts are spoken some gifts are heard I pray to god
for his spoken word a gift is like a kiss to the sun a candle in
the wind I give anything to know where my gift begins

as life goes on it will dawn on me that god will show and tell me.

A Psalm of Resolve

Psalm 61
          Hear my cry, O God;
         attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee,
    when my heart is overwhelmed.
    Lead me to the rock that is higher than I;
                     ......

Merciful God trusting in your love and grace
Broken and contrite I am fallen on my face
The world is all upside down, and I'm bereft
Of father, mother, friend; vanites have left
Me nothing I can hold, and sometimes alone
I wonder amidst the raging storms of grief
What else shall I do, I have done all to atone
And yet your justice despise my soul's relief.
It seemed I am pulled down when I need be
Up, battered and wretched, tempted to flee.
O God who is my all, my tower and my hope
My feet falters in dark valleys, and yet I grope
Preferring your chastisment to life's applause
I stand committed to the promise of they laws
No where else to go, but higher still I climb
To find the Rock of all faith, and peace sublime.

The Matriarch

the matriarch is the oldest female head of a family
and I'm so elated that God has preserved this position for me
I've lived a life that has been almost four scores
and I've seen what my people have had to endure
as I stand here today I'm a living testimony
of the goodness the Lord Our God has given to me
now surrounded by several generations of my loving descents
as the matriarch for me this moment is heaven-sent
to my sons, my daughters, my grands, my cousins and all of my kin
I'm so joyful that I'm able to have this reunion with you once again
may the Lord continue to grant us grace and bless each and everyone
and I pray that I'll see you all next year for my living is not done

The lights of Bethlehem still burn,
For Ruth’s mother-in-law to return.

Since her unfettered faith, so strong,
Convinced Ruth, with her, to come along.

Facing bravely the consequences of God’s plan,
Ruth, with Naomi, went to the Promised Land.

To live on in Bethlehem was their decision,
Both seeking to receive God’s provision.

God doesn’t stop being God in adversity
Is what Naomi taught Ruth to believe.

So there in Bethlehem, Ruth sought for a man
To help her with the consequences of God’s plan.

And Boaz of Bethlehem, Naomi’s rich kinsman,
Found Ruth to be both charming and winsome.

So he shared with Ruth the bounty of his field,
When he learned her faith, though foreign, was real.

Thus they became one with the grace of God’s will
And with a prophecy of God their duty to fulfill.

Ruth’s faith in Naomi’s God found reinforcement
While lovelorn Naomi was freed of her resentment.

God’s will it was to give Ruth and Boaz a boy,
And for Naomi to restore her spiritual joy.

Premium Member The Earth

I can not help but wonder
When God created the earth
How did He think of all the things
It takes to make it work

I know God is God
And He knows all things
But the things I've been a witness to
How do they work I mean

The lava boils deep in the earth
Why does it need to leave
And when it does break through the crust
It becomes a volcano to us

It has destroyed all in its path
What of the hole it leaves behind
The cavity eventually caves in
And then the mountains do begin

Mean while the surface heals itself
The wind and rain step in
The soils that are blown and washed in
Help heal the scars again

What of the ash from the volcano
As it infiltrates the air
As it settles it brings death
Such as ASH FALL in Nebraska
Where the rhino's met their end

And what of the earth quakes
As the earth seems to shake in pain
The cracks that they leave behind
Form gullies and ravines

The oil, the gas, the silver, the gold
The floods, the tornados, the drouths, the cold
Fires caused by lightenings sting
Are all under Mother Natures wing

The animals before man's time
Lived and died as was designed
And still the earth went on and on
And healed it self from dusk to dawn

And now that man is here
It has to work harder
It is there to heal the wounds
That man seems to father

Then we have the food chain
Land and water both provide
And if man doesn't watch his step
Fathom waits outside

Now and then it does rebel
It gets the upper hand
Tornados, blizzards, hurricanes
Volcanos and desert sand

The scars the wars do leave
Mother Nature does her best
If only we'd learn to live in peace
She could take a rest

And all the stupid things man does
Like building homes along a high cliff
Then when Mother Nature does her thing
Bet you can guess who takes the blame

The heavens, the earth were made by God,
And for eons they did survive
Then God created man,
If they don't work side by side
Neither of them will abide

I guess I answered my own question
I just had to use my brain
Thank You God for all Your help
I hope it's not in vain

God's Masterpiece

In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth,

in doing this, God had created a masterpiece to behold.

Every animal, plant, tree, insect, bird and many other creatures of

such a variety could only have been done by God. Look at the

mountains, seas, oceans and creatures and plants below them.

All of this could not just have happen by some stupid fish crawling

up on land, then growing legs, then finally becoming monkeys, then man.

It is too far fletched to even think about.

God's masterpiece was a perfect one in the beginning, until Adam and Eve

committed the first sin, then it was no longer perfect.

God's masterpiece can be compared to us buying a painting that is also a masterpiece,

the only one like it in the whole world.

One night someone breaks into your house, they don't steal it, but do something even

worse, they destroy it.

Satan was like a thief who came one day to Adam and Eve and got them to sin, in doing

so, he destroyed the perfect world; God's masterpiece was ruined with sin.

After that sin was passed on from generation to generation, with it came death, war

and sickness and greed and many other things.

One day you find an expert, who says that your painting can be repaired,

but it will cost a high price to fix , it won't be as good as it was, but it can be repaired

somewhat.

This painting means so much, you love so, that you don't care what the cost is.

God also sent an expert who was perfect; God came in the form of a man, named Jesus.

He fixed the masterpiece, but there was also a high price to pay, His life and shed blood.

But like the painting it will never be the same, only repaired somewhat.

Jesus paid the price and he gave us the gift of Salvation, but we have to accept the

gift, or it is still unfixed.

Call on Him today and accept that gift. Romans 10:9-14

Blessed Assurance

mankind is assured of many things until the very end
we will live, we will die and yes we will commit sin
but true Christians are also assured of many things as well
the love of Christ, eternal life and that they ain't going to hell
but all of that assurance was by Jesus' blood guaranteed
when on the cross He gave His life as a sacrifice for you and me

the sins of mankind that eternal debt of which we've incurred
when Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden didn't obey God's word
we've been on a course of reconciliation to get right with God
but unfortunately a disobedient nature has remained within our hearts
and the only way for us to ever pay back this debt
is to become disciples of Jesus the Christ who is our spiritual rep

Jesus the Christ is our Messiah, our Advocate and our Savior
He lived with us to ascertain the cause of our disobedient behavior
He dwelt among us to teach and to preach to us the gospel truth
His task to instruct us with parables of what God desires we do
blessed assurance our guarantee by Jesus the Christ
blessed assurance as we live this Christian life

living by the word of God to worship Him in truth and light
meditating on the word of God to walk by faith and not by sight
blessed assurance for the debt which Jesus paid
blessed assurance for the living water in which we now wade
Jesus removed all of our fears when from the dead He did arise
it was a display of God's power for us to revere and surmise
that God is all mighty, He's all powerful and God is all good
and we should praise and honor Him as obedient children should

blessed assurance when to Him we draw more nearly
blessed assurance as we follow His word more clearly
for you're in better hands with God than you would ever be with ALLSTATE
for you are assured, you are insured, you're guaranteed just keep the faith

Up, Up, and Away

Understanding what your designed

Purpose deals solely with you.

Understanding that you were

Placed here for a reason.

And you were fearfully and wonderfully made.

No one has absolutely nothing to

Do. Closeness to God by reading and

Applying it to your daily

Walk starts writing your life's chalk

Always you've had these abilities. A big

Yea! Goes to God for creating me with a job.

Do You Work For a Living Or Do You Live To Work

Tis a man I knew
he works 24-7
one day He said unto me
Life tis hard
I have to work for a living
For my bills need to be paid
I work.. work.. work.. all day
day and night sometimes

I said unto this man
Tis is Working for a living?
Or are You living to work?
When do you get time off?
Time to enjoy Life.. Love
Even to worship God above

He then said
I have to work
to get things..
I like and want to have
Things that are nice

For I know what tis like
To be without things
Nice things that life brings

But then he said
he never gets time
off work.. for tis his job
he has to pay bills
No one else will

Sad but true..
but this man never Grasped
what the meaning was
Through all his workful tasks

He Lives to work
For he gets No time off
To enjoy Life.. what tis really worth
Love.. Faith and Hope

The Greatest of these is Love
Love.. of God
Blessings of True Love .. between two
More Blessings of Love Family.. time

Non can compare
To the Love that is shared
What do you do..
Work for a living?
or do You Live to Work?

Love is the Key
To Everything
The Greatest Love of all
Divine Love of Christ
Eternal Life

Come Receive Greatest Love of all
Put God First in Your Life
Everything eles falls into place
Giving by God's Divine Grace

The State of the Kingdom Address Part 3

We need to take a solid stance against,

The enemies stance to destroy by being in agreement,

With other members of the body of Christ and stick to,

That for the rest of our lives. We need not to be like Jell-O,

A semisolid barely saying hello to anyone and giving assistance,

To them when and where you know that you can. We need,

Not to be solid on helping Satan destroy all of the plans of,

God's girls and boys. We need to be liquid in that we have,

A definite shape of kindness and take the volume of whatever,

Container God gave us instead of being liquid in saying God,

Saved us but we cannot take the shape of being in this place.

We need to be gas and say that in whatever circumstance,

We will move around energetically and dance together in,

Praise of our one God in whatever region of space being,

Familiar or odd instead of diffusing destructive measures,

Of destruction from areas of high concentration to low,

Concentration. We need to be like a gas to spread God's,

Love across every nation of the globe so that the light,

Of God's love will strobe. And last but not least we need,

To be at the highest energy state plasma in constantly,

Battling the enemy with powerful praise and instantly,

Moving when God says to move to increase the kingdom,

Of God so that we all we be blessed and we'll have room,

To hate less and continuously get God's best. Get on board

So that we can all get God's reward for us right here on

Earth. Everyone on this planet to God has worth. Get on,

Board to get God's best. This concludes the state of the

 Kingdom address.

Every Day Is a Struggle

Every day is a struggle
Not to cry
To fall to our knees
And ask God why.

The economy is a nightmare
Chasing away our dreams
Leaving us hungry
Crying out for a means.

Jobs have been cut
Dwindling money so tight
The war is on
To keep our hope in sight.

Food to clothes
And simple school supplies
Every where you look
The money cries.

The once simple things
Now have a luxurious price
The list of necessities
Must face a slice.

Staycations are in
Vacations are out
Even retirement
Travels a different route.

The economy has sunk
Like a wounded ship
As the color of green
Loses its grip.

Everyday is a struggle
Just to survive
The American dream
We labor to revive.

NOTE: As a divorced mother of three children, having my hours cut over 3/4 has taken its
toll on me. Looking for employment has been not only depressing but frustrating as well.
I wrote this poem to try and "heal" my pain and struggles. I know that I am not the only
one that lays awake at night wondering how to pay the bills or feed my children; but still
the pain eats away at me, the frustrations build like a volcano, and the humiliation
strips me of my pride. I find myself questioning my dreams and goals; my skills as a
parent; my faith in the American Dream! Some of you will say that I have become
depressed--and my guess is you would be right. I hate myself for lying in bed feeling
sorry for myself and crying all the time--that is why I wrote this poem...it is my
cure..my medication...my doctor. Through this poem I hope to pull myself up and out of
this hole of sadness I have climbed into and hold my head high as I wait for things to get
better...as I wait for that one miracle to light my way. Hey...that gives me an idea for
another poem..gotta go write...I love you all. Thank you for reading my poetry, for your
kind and compassionate comments and may God Bless each and every one of you and keep you
safe and happy during these difficult times! All My Love, Deborah

Ghetto Children

God made you

He made you rich

Even though the world

Thinks you're unfortunate

Talents you were given to make something

Out of nothing.

Children of the

Hood have the goods

Innate abilities

Literally to be

Destined for the

Real success and in

Everything we do God gets the glory

Never self because God gave us this wealth!
