Best Repentance Poems
Thank you Lord for drawing me near
and opening my eyes to see;
The sin in which my heart was enslaved
and in great need to be set free.
The gift of repentance is truly a gift;
For by it I know Your Spirit is in me,
as He brings me to sorrow over my sin,
and turns the eyes of my heart towards Thee.
It is You the only One and True
that can set a prisoner free;
Little by little showing me my sin,
and little by little changing me.
So as I live my life abiding in You,
and You abiding in me;
May I find joy in repentance for by it I know,
Your Spirit is living in me!
I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than ninety-nine righteous people who do not need repentance. Luke 15:7
We don't go to the doctor just for the fun of it.
We may be sick, or need a check-up,
or want the doctor's advice about healthy living.
There are many reasons to go to God in prayer
but none as important
as seeking a cure for our spiritual illness
and restoring our relationship with God.
After all, Jesus says
there will be great joy in heaven
over the one who repents.
When we repent, we come to ourselves in truth
and recognise our very real need
for God's forgiveness.
Then, we are ready to be washed in God's love.
Loving God,
you know everything that is in our hearts.
Help us to trust in your love
that we may turn to you in our sinfulness and be healed.

Repentance is hurt that leads you to healing
Fall on your knees and pray to learn how to deal with your feelings
From all your past sins and from all your past mistakes
It doesn’t matter Jesus died for all our sakes
All we have to do is confess our sins from our mouth
Before you know it God will surely bring you out
He is the only one who doesn’t hold a grudge
Even when you slip and fall He’ll give you that extra nudge
God will pick us up when we do stumble down
Will stand us up again and turn us back around
Will lead His children down the path of His righteousness
While holding us together with all His mightiness
Don’t listen to satan tell you that God doesn’t forgive you
His job is to keep you from getting your prayers through
If you are godly sorry in all the sins that you do
Remember repenting to our Lord is what is needed to get your message through.

it is all the days and nights of transgressions
large and small they roll down
the passages of life
to be laid at the feet of god
well oiled with words of penance.
ritual, mea culpa, contrition chanted.
scrubbed clean as their kitchens,
one by one they arise, genuflect
and disappear into secularity.
There's an old saying that goes like this...
Birds of a feather flock together.
But I tell you this...
If you want to succeed in anything in life make sure the flock that you are flying with are seeking the Kingdom of God-the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
The times we are in are growing in their complexity and the days ahead are going to make the hearts of mankind grow more and more cold as the Antichrist comes bursting on the global scene.
Make sure that you GET RIGHT with God.
Make sure that you are spending time in His Holy Word each and every day and repenting for the sins that come creeping in.
Remember that if we are TRULY sorry for the sins that we commit and we confess them before God some heavenly math does occur.
If we do ONE THING, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY does TWO THINGS and this is the main gyst of this writing.
If we CONFESS OUR SINS JESUS CHRIST WILL FORGIVE US & then WASH US CLEAN FROM THE POWER OF HIS BLOOD!
JESUS CHRIST is returning to this planet very soon even though no one knows exactly when.
We must be found living holy and acceptable unto Him.
So if you do this one thing...SINCERELY CONFESS your sins...
Then JESUS will DO TWO THINGS...
He will FORGIVE US & then WASH US WHITE AS SNOW!
It can't get any more complicated than that!
Go before the Throne of God today.
Tomorrow may be too late.

Christ Calls Us to repentance!
Can God be found in church?
How many have sought him?
Is the message of a godly repentance “removed” too often?
He asks for us to repent and confess our sin.
This is how a joyful and abundant life begins!
It‘s easy to get involved with what happens today.
Then take the time to spend with God and pray.
His word reminds of the important repentance brings.
It helps the Holy Spirit to get rid of so many things.
Won’t you allow God’s spirit to speak to your heart?
And make today… A fresh and brand new start?
The start of a blessed love
and joy that’ll last…
That moment you allow Jesus
to remove your past!
Let’s join together and bring honor to God’s son!
In him, a new creation we can all become!
Thank you Jesus, for bringing repentance to us!
We know how much you care and truly love us!
You are what we need in this time and hour.
Please wash us clean of your redemptive power!
Thank you dear Lord of the work
you want to do!
We need much less of us,

The guilt, it etches
deep into the soul
why is it that I
want what I
can't have
The shame, it harrows
your psychological well being
what is it
that makes it so
I am on my knees in
the garden of my Eden
wondering where
I've gone wrong
Really I am
on my knees in repentance
wallowing in a burnt down love
of human reasoning
and that's where it ends
In this trip of guilt
society is not one
will not reach
its full potential
will perish.
Repentant heart will openly bare
Sins that conscience does pare
Puckered lips tasting evil's fare
Poisonous side effects will square
With desire's glimmering silverware
Contrite eye into dark soul will stare
To catch a stime of iniquity's glare
A modulated ear will widely flare
When oppressed psyche doth blare
Discordant notes mind to impair
As vexed spirit feels springing snare
Suppliant hands will clasp in despair
As sorrows from guilty senses pair
Unsealed lips will solemnly swear
Unremitted inequities to repair
I killed a nice bird
and realise it was wrong
I need to say sorry.
On the morn of the eve of infinity
Saw the eyes of a stranger I knew
As she danced to the tune of the Devil
By the silvery light of the moon
I said " Lady I came here for drinkin'"
But her burning gaze finished my sentence
She said " Sir! Won't you tell me your secret
And I'll be your queen of repentance"
So soldier or sailor live life to the last
Believe in the truth of expectance
For in some dark tavern or shady bordello
You may meet her the queen of repentance
Then her hand held mine like a grape to a vine
With a promise of pleasures untold
And this angel or wraith was to replace my faith
And shone light in a soul turned cold
So soldier or sailor come tell her your secret
For she's your last chance of redemption
Let the black in your soul be replaced by the light
Where no sin is too great for exemption
Atonement
Words laden with regrets spilled over profusely
Regurgitating blobs of ancient narcissistic deed
Awaken realization for vanity obfuscates reality
Enchanted by the force of hallucinogenic greed
To gyrations life dances oblivious towards time
Sparks amidst a storm ignites portentous skies
As Earth navigates apathy decimates the clime
Incredulous eyes evokes counsel from the wise
When youth ebbs spider webs embellish a face
Engrained memories from yesteryear reappear
The future herald adversities he must embrace
Bestowed clemency atonement overpower fear

Repentance a change of mind, actions, and direction,
I had it wrong over and over again. It’s not enough to
Repent with just words and no actions. It was a real
Eye opener for me, it makes good sense a revelation.
Repentance and love both go hand in hand. Actions speaks
Louder than words nothing’s exempt from me and you.
The one word we dread, when speaking day by day.
Ask God’s help unsparingly, he’ll grant it when you pray.
