You Can't Remove The Glitter From Silver And Gold
Our love’s been bathed in sunlight and in the moonlight’s glow.
It comes close to being eternal and we have come to know
That when our time is over this truth will always hold –
You can’t remove the glitter from silver and gold.
Life will try to tarnish precious things we find
Living all around us yet always seem confined.
There is a sheen of greatness even when they’re old.
And some get even brighter, with age, or so I’m told
In life we’ve known the safety of sweet and caring arms
That embraced us with comfort and protected us from harm.
No threats have ever reached us where we were not consoled
Knowing you cannot remove glitter from silver and gold.
Our love has always been there as, steadily, we grew old
We never tried to separate glitter from silver and gold.

Skating fingers criss-cross, glide down my neck;
Under my clothing feel free to check
For a zipper, a button - my body serene,
It’s far beneath my skin the treasure unseen.
Why do you fumble and why with such need
Do you remove all my clothing longing to see
Bare hips so to know me?
Bare back so to know me?
Or pink candy stars soft on my breast
So to impress on your mind my complete nakedness?
I do not stand Revealed, though bare is my skin,
I do not stand Exposed, to believe so is sin.
You have removed only waves which accent the sea;
You cannot fathom the depth of the ocean in me.
See my hips – you do not know my rhythm.
See my back – you do not know my strength.
See my stars – you do not know my dreams:
Go ahead, touch me, I am not Naked
Well hidden are my seams.
Form:
Covered in road kill
Winners and losers
Confusion breaks me free
I let the books fall
So it could breathe
Below the surface
I let the words
Expand my mind
I retrieved the page
That allowed peace
Burned, what had already been burned
Remember my name
Full moon whispers light
My song
My song dancing shadows
Forever sings
Forever

Remove Illusion And Its Dark Mask
A nail in each eye may gift light
for to see without eyes is sight
One must hold the heart to task
remove illusion and its dark mask
Ears become echo chambers of fact
heart and soul both remain intact
Spiritual knowledge soon appears
in volume when there are no fears
Clear the mind of selfish thought
victory in battle faithfully fought
Allow the soft breeze to rush on in
Truth of life only then will begin
Defining moment,a magnificent start
divine guidance will play it's part
A dark veil will have been lifted
bumper crop harvested,wheat sifted
Light of Truth requires a new clean slate
our blessing is the power to change our Fate!
True life, true love both are difficult tasks
neither can be had while we wear our masks!
Robert J. Lindley, 05-25-2015
Every body is afraid of being themselves, losing it in between the lies and false smiles. Who do we become, who are we, just puzzles of others personalities melding into a damaged piece. So is our imaginations the place we run to, or from? The truth of the matter is that, the solace of being us is not behind a mask but out their without it.
No heartbeat will pass through these teeth
Nothing's child will digest, rest dead inside me
A plead or two, violent rages ignored
What did her smiling eyes mean to you?
I know you saw her grinning
Let me tell you, child bearing a heavy heart:
Karma is alive and kicking
Every heartbeat has purpose
Sick to my stomach I discover much truth
Humans ripping flesh from bones-- I have a bone to pick with you
To what extent of this insanity does it prosper our youth?
May I remind you of meals to spare, the freedom to choose?
I wonder everyday, "Were you even hungry?"
Friend, eating is for survival, to thrive, keep these eyes blinking
Not to slit something's throat
Believe me
No longer will I blind myself from sick, real cruelty
Look at his face
Have you seen him cry?
Are your eyes still smiling?
Three days to live and he can not wait to die
Stop this vicious cycle
Let nature shine through
They were here before me and before you
Wouldn't you liked to be saved by grace?
Thankful for words on a believed page?
Rescued from a life threatening disease of ignorance I hate?
One more rescue breath at the scene
Open your eyes wide
We are that change
What Do We Expect, As We Seek to Remove God?
As so many people are seeking God’s removal…
It’s like anything from him, we’ve given a refusal!
Many have tried to ban just the reading of his word!
There’s so much truth, just waiting to be heard!
Many anti-God societies have quickly formed!
Even the ten commandments, are often scorned!
We’ve built large cities, many schools, and homes!
But when it comes to God, we’ve often left him alone!
One can try their best to push God back in the corner!
But if you do, things in your life will get “warmer!”
The pleasures and truth you seek,
will come to an end!
And then eternity without God,
will just begin!
You’ll wish you chose to live for God, that eventful day!
You’ll wish that you took the time
to study and pray!
It’s the word of God that you need to study and read!
God knows all about you! And knows your needs!
He deserves all of your praise and full attention!
We need to seek him, for much needed direction!
Please come dear Lord, and cleanse us within!
May we humbly confess our faults and sins!
We need YOU much more, than words can say!
Please be the God we serve!
May we start TODAY!

UNSUPPORTED CODE We often hear this topic across our nation.
Another person crying; “discrimination.”
In our many attempts to not discriminate.
It seems like it’s God that we seek to eliminate.
It seems like we’ve come up with our own “rules.”
And somehow have turned into a bunch of “fools.”
We accept many perversions of various kinds…
But God himself? We seem to close our minds!
In many of our lives, we’ve “kicked “ him out.
And refuse what he really is about!
The words, “In God we trust...” Our money bears it!
Anything of God? We’re afraid to share it!
It seems like the courts almost say he doesn’t exist!
And have brought much confusion into our midst!
As many say it’s “offensive” to display a cross…
Many godly values have already been lost!
It’s time to wake up America! And begin to see!
The kind of country we’re beginning to be!
A country that’s foundation is getting off course.
Being driven by a wicked and ungodly force!
Out only hope is in God! And him alone!
We must invite him back into our homes!
To God and his word we must hold secure and fast!
He is our only hope that our country will last!

I'd like to
tie a tourniquet
around your
wounded heart
and watch
until the blood
stops dripping
then I would cut away
the mangled mass
of decaying vessels
that hang
below the pulsing
mound of life.
Perhaps then
you could begin,
begin to feel,
begin to love,
begin to live.
It covers your soul as darkness draping over the sunlight,
Your Spirit seeks the world with penetrating eyes,
An undisputable wave, a persuaded glance,
A vanity inside abiding, and nonetheless
Fragmented consumed exhibits –
Pieces as shattered glass,
Dusted with suffering in twinkling’s time,
Whirling with frenzy, becoming a cavort
With mere thoughts of an empty heart-
Seeking out an eternity of dual hearts
Winged hand-in-hand evoking beauty,
A joyful dawn, a gem of love,
And mystery given by hours of a gentle work;
Your guarded soul knowing each mask which
Stands wishing and seeking the selfsame,
Poses evolving and amassing little understanding,
Statutes unfair do never-rest,
Simply leads to bareness far and wide;
Prisoner kept inside your encased wearied mask,
Do not accede to life’s ragged hand slaying your treasure,
Disrobe the mask you wear and sanctioned,
Mark your love and tranquility for a time to come,
Allow your soul to breathe unleashed;
Why wear that mask you display?
Who took the M out of magic
The A followed close behind
G didnt want to be left alone
I and C says, please be kind
Can we not stick together
Why have we drifted away
Why aren't we enjoying christmas
Who said humbug to this festive day
I know we have lost loved ones
Very close to our heart
Did they remove the magic wand
Or did the retailers do their part
Commercial christmas it is now
That should be its new name
Gone is the feeling of a family show
Its a crying shame
So as we sit down to eat lunch
Spare a thought for people with less
Especially the word Magic
Who wants to spread happiness
So come on smiles on faces
Light the candles say a prayer.
Cos its christmas day
We have magic here
Lie down and rest your beasts head on my breasts again
You said you heard a sound
It brought fascination to your lovely face
What was That sound?
Your eyes like Marbles knocking together
Glittery little things
You said
Monsters roam my head and say Demon things
You said
I'll keep them for heavens sake!
They need a home too!
I said
You're turning into something I don't want
Can you remove them?
Form:
We blame any obstacles in our ways
The obstacles are cruel
We try all the ways to remove them
We blame the devil as well as God
But who is or which is the cruelest after all
I said it's time
Because there isn't any more chance
And nothing can be done
If without the permission of time
Remove all of the Tears
When on weather channel made a query
Response was it will be damp and dreary
And whilst it is exactly what it has been
Hope it never will rain this hard again.
On my poor roof rain is now pounding
And surely I have heard all of it sounding
With a few flashes of sun here and there
Then darkness does return everywhere.
Why would anyone want to be all wet?
It always will seem like when you get,
Wet will become behind both big ears
Stolen from eyes which once were tears.
