Rejection

A reminder of sins,
Jerky de-firiye,
Come, come Islam.
Look, it's running out!
Life balance.
Poetry,
A heartbreaker.

It is not our goal,
Never rhyme.
No more levels?
Pros or cons?
Every second.

Wake up, brothers!
What's with this blunder?
They call it a gift.

Why the credit name?
Forget the interest,
Defeat your conscience
And forbidden halal
So you can lose.

Look!
That miserable invitation.
Love word
Blankets,
That called adultery.
What kind of spirit is this?

It's like a century of ignorance,
Invitation to sins,
Then call Hell,
A great bonus!

We gave them rejection,
Thank you tricksters,
Every disqualification.

Lord!
Give it to my students!
A great choice.
Damn!
Every tomb that comes to restraint.
Wastewater,
Granted condolences.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8, KJV

T ell me how did you fare in your life's quest?

I gnorant were they just like Jesus said on the cross

O therwise they would have held the child very close

N ow I understand and forgive releasing those feelings so I can live

A little tidbit about my life. Forgiveness is the key.

Valentine Rejection

Roses are red and pink and yellow
Go find yourself another fellow

You promised you'd lose a ton of weight
By February of 2008

I don't want a gal in a size forty dress
If I wanted a monster, I'd visit Loch Ness

So very good wishes on this Cupid's Day
Go look for a guy who cares not what you weigh

Premium Member Thoughts of Suicide

Would you even miss if I were to die?
Or would it be only a showing of your pride?
What if I told you I contemplated suicide?
Would you duck your head and run away and hide?

If you were to notice how depressed I really am
would you reach over and show me a true friend?
The thought that you wouldn't eats me up inside,
my tears are overflowing the well has now run dry.

Friendship calls for sacrifice and not just on one side
I gave my all to you to take and toss aside.
It's sad to think I drop everything to run and do for you;
you do do things for me but expect payment from me too!

Reaching out to someone is very hard to do,
it makes it even harder when you know they won't come thru.
My door is open always and I never charged a toll,
but I seem to pay one when you cross my threshold.

Maybe I will stick around and wallow in self-pity,
or maybe this will be the last of me you'll see!!!

Fear of rejection can come to us all
Feeling alone like facing the wall
All the outside just staring in
If only they could see what is within
Not feeling the spirit from all around
Just want to hide, open up the ground!

Rejection can come in many forms
From playground antics and college dorms
It can even turn up in a relationship
Too change this one shoot from the hip

To tackle rejection do it head on
Find out why and remain strong
Is it emotional or is it social
Both of these are psychological
They can be treated and sorted out
But remain calm try not to shout

Rejection can cause anger and aggression
External and even inward explosion
Don't blame yourself as this you don't need
Find a safe place, breathe slowly or read

A reason for this thought you won't find
It's a receptor buried deep in the mind
Studies say it's from out evolutionary past
They managed, so keep calm have a blast

Emotional pain is hard to ignore
Stay positive and don't become a bore
Pick yourself up and find the light
Then your life will start to be bright
Keep working on the little things
Then you will find what happiness brings

Drag

Drag
by

After sleeping for the past twelve hours
I still won’t go outside
Only if I feel like dying with the sun on my face
Even then, I’d have to drag myself out there.

With a mouth that tastes like ash
whenever I swallow
If I walk out there, I’ll only fall
beneath the weight on my mind.
These fragile bones will break again.
Even then, I’d have to drag myself to somewhere safe
Possibly, the morgue
I hope to hell it’s a morgue.

Coughing up my insides onto the floor,
there’s always one, who’d love to watch me
crawl back into the dark and away from the pain.
All these cigarettes leave me
is the small belief
that I may never wake up again.

After sleeping through another twelve hours,
I don’t think I’ll be leaving, anytime soon
Only if I feel like dying in the warmth of the sun
Even then, I’d have to drag myself out there
Out where
I may never wake up again.

Tunnel

From a developing land
The body shakes
Trembling in ancestral amber
Swirling and flowing
It must penetrate the light
Its destiny is that light
Away from the closing space
Mother-bound
Nourishing and holding

But then they come
Proclaiming and brandishing
Curled tightly in this place
Hiding and frightening
The amber turns to mud
Green and thick like tar
There is no escape
Pulling and separating
The limbs freeing or fettering

Same result.
Unwanted here in a plentiful land

BEAUTY IN REJECTION

BEAUTY IN REJECTION

In the silence of rejection's sting,
A tale of beauty begins to sing.
For in the depths of sorrow's ocean,
Lies a gem of strength and pure emotion.4

In rejection's tender embrace so cold,
Lies hidden beauty yet untold.
In every 'fail' a lesson learned,
In every 'lost' a new path earned.8

Each 'no' whispers a chance to grow,
To learn, to change, to truly know.
Resilience blooms in the face of denial,
Transforming darkness into a radiant smile.¹²

Embrace the beauty in each closed door,
For new paths await, unseen before.
Rejection's touch may leave its mark,
But it ignites a light in the dark.¹6

There's beauty in rejection,
And a lesson in every misconception.
Self-worth, self-realisation & appreciation;
You'll never understand their application
If you've never seen it manifestation.²¹

Let rejection be a canvas, blank & wide,
Where colors of courage & wisdom collide.
In every 'no,' a seed of strength is sown,
A testament to the beauty we've known.²5

A world of Deception

Don’t seek perfection in a world of deception,
a place of test for he and she.
If God intended for man perfection,
no mortal being will disagree.

For every time you feel rejection,
only the truth will set you free.
And when you tread in wrong direction,
your path will lead to misery.

So be alarmed,
request protection,
from every evil in you and me.
Extend your hand and attempt connection,
don't hesitate to make a plea.

For every action that causes friction,
will wear our bond and kill our glee.

Premium Member No One Likes Rejection

Most sponsors do not place a poem
Based on its merits, rhythm, or rhyme,
So, friend, if you find your poem N/A’d
Lose no sleep, it happens all the time!

Contest wins are approval of one person
Hundreds may love your poem, not her
Or him, and it matters not a single whit
A new contest appears, theirs is a blur!

If you like your poem, it was a success,
You liked your sonnet, your selection,
You are expressing your innermost self
And, let’s face it, no one likes rejection.

Out of all the poems submitted to me
I have the joy and pleasure of picking ten
The ten I like most, the best of the best,
But, keep in mind, it is only MY opinion!

If I fail to recognize your genius, my bad,
Generally, I have my strong reasons why
Could be I simply find ten more appealing
Often those I eliminated make me cry.

Rejection In Love

I never hide anything from you,
Told you nearly everything about me,
Just wanted your appreciation,
Instead my angel why gave me rejection.

Just like a kid cry for toys,
Just like a poet cries when being rejected by publishers,
Just like parents cry for their children’s pain,
More then just like that, I cry and cried for you.

My angel now I can’t eat,
I can’t even drink properly,
Days and nights are passing,
But still I am in love and thinking of you.

Please come back,
I will be always yours,
Just give me one chance to prove myself,
Why you have rejected me without giving any chance.

You are so pretty my angel,
But let me tell you something,
I would have still loved you,
If you were not that pretty.

Vulnerability Isn'T a Curse

Born into this world, my opinion never mattered
Had no voice yet today my tears flow like a stream
Born into hardship and poverty, its no fault of mine
No need to ask my pains... for the fast receding of my flesh showcasing my bones tells my story
Most times I feel its punishment for what I know not... but I look around and see thousands just like me
Without food nor water
Without clothes nor a place to call home
Without light in sight... I wonder if God exists
Holy books talking of His love for us and I wonder if i have been forsaken
If we have been condemned to hell on earth for reasons unknown
If we are being punished for breathing

Who is to blame; society or poverty

In a heartless society, a few of heart still exist
Not all take delight in the sufferings of others
Where as others choose to condemn, a few choose to redeem
Giving back hope and life to people rejected by all, they go the extra mile

A father to the orphan who society abandoned
A husband to the widow whose world came to a halt, still grieving, she was chased away
The only shoulder that old woman needed before being pushed to the wicked grips of camps supposed for witches

Genuinely on the course of humanity, he invests his sweat
An investment seeking smiles as profit
A believe in the betterment of life, an umbrella of love hope and care is spread

Society can never be perfect but none deserves its Cruelty
It doesn't take much to touch lives but only a few do
Cheers to the few

Having gone days without food, I know what it means to have a saviour.
Indeed you are a man of the people
A king for all and heart for good

It warms our heart to know;
despite being an orphan
despite living in poverty
despite being widowed and the pains of accusations
Our lives still means something
Giving us hope and a reason to live, we say THANK YOU

Thank You for not making vulnerable a curse
Naa Tia Foundation Without doubt is the reason behind my smiles and shot at life
