Abandonment is traumatic and yet we must transcend, as you have, recognising that each acts as of their consciousness, knowing no better, so can do no better. Forgive, outpour compassion and move on. A beautiful, deep, poignant write, Sara

Unseeking, Well, I don't know all that went on since I was only an infant but I understand now that it must have been hell on earth for at least one of them. God forgives and lets the person/s come into a right relationship with Him so I have tried to do the same but of course the relationship is impossible because they are deceased. Thanks for the visit. Sara, beautiful poetess, my heart hurts reading this. You are such a precious daughter of our loving Father. I know your hurt, I too was rejected. I was raised in the home, but felt apart from the family. I was terrified of God...the Father. I felt He rejected me too. I was surprised when I realized it was Him who did not reject me. I struggle with my hurt till this day. I have adopted children whom I adore with all my heart and soul. They were wanted, by me! <3 You are loved and precious Sara.

BJ, Great that you adopted some children who needed a forever home. People who have the love and are able do a great service for children who need that special parent in their lives. The hurt, rejection, insecurity and all those negative emotions linger and rear their heads from time to time but all we have to do is look up and see the way we should go. Your visit is so wonderful in your sharing your life's experience with me. Sara

Hi Sara, I can relate to your heartfelt verse a lot. I felt rejected and as a young girl due to abuse. I also found it difficult to accept the father's love. I'm so glad I now know that he loves me unconditionally. Thanks for sharing such a write. Have a great day my friend:-) Alexis

Alexis, If a person suffers abuse, it is hard to separate the abuse that is experienced from the loving Father above. I know that was hard on you. Yes, He loves us unconditionally because He looks down on the believers through the shed blood of His Son Who died for our sin. I appreciate you dropping by and sharing a little of yourself. Sara

I await your entry. God's mercy is infinite. It is we who reject him.

Victor, I know that God was the author of my life situation. It was hard but I believe that if I had been kept in that situation I would not have been the person I am today. It is just something I have had to work through and in my later years which is hard. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Judy, It is in your Bible. I like it because it always reminds me that even though I am unimportant Christ loved me even while I did not love Him. Thanks for the visit. I will write my work about Rejection sometimes soon. Sara
