My head is
In the air
It is in space
My feet
Are grounded
They are on earth
My stomach
Is trapped
In-between
But, that is what
Makes me do
All the things I do
God knows where I am
I am neither here
Nor there
So many times I visit sorrow.
I gave you my heart to borrow.
I've walked this path too much.
Evil as such.
Horrifying to grasp this love.
Blood covers the sin on my glove.
I feast a lot on pain,
Nothing but rejection to gain.
I love, but not love that should be.
I hide from that evil I so often see.
So innocent from the start.
Too stupid, too smart...
I cry for souls that are lost, mostly my own.
Love hurts, I should have known.
I fear the power of unity.
I crave sweet serenity.
The Heart of Lust, struggling to offer trust.
It conquers good,
Provokes evil,
creating a sensuous mood.
Why hide from power?
We are not the innocent flower.
Love is what I'm striving for.
Yet, the tunnel is dark towards that mystical door.
Sources of evil lusting for my soul.
Destruction their only goal.
Surrender to the unknown presence,
Feel it's dark essence.
Total destruction of body and mind.
Leave love behind.
Envision inner peace.
Embrace lust and ignore the desire to cease.
The truth is, we live a lie.
We must enjoy life, for we all will die.
do you dress with shapeshifting dreams,
when the blanket of eyes unfolds
reeling... a realm of myriad realism ~
in echoes from elements of delusive domains?
there's a veil so thin, enlightened between ~
t r u t h and l i e ... f i r e and a s h ,
and must you lose your eloquent elixir
to inhale their dusty deceptions?
when we only need to choose not to conform,
and resolve to realise that every lifeline
is a palpitating paradox in this musical mosaic ,
~ of possibilities and promised uncertainties ...
life is what is faithfully lived ~
through a lavender lens made for not two,
but one, unseen in the metaphysical ~
yet felt closely in the inner sanctum,
resting within the runes of the lotus chakra
and bridging the balance between
the bleak blankness breathing in space ~
where memories flow distant
in the marrow of astral mantras ...
as everything fades from this funeral flame
I will not be lost, but found... a homesick soul,
the searcher of silence, that sleeps within
the spirit of the One, my divine sculptor ~
in his purified prayers, desires lose their form,
when the seventh heaven rehearses
a ray of selfless spiritualism amongst the stars
syncing salvation as a rhythm ~ a crystal pulse,
flickering through the illusion of solidity ...
A lifetime ago
I could hurl a stone
across the river to land
on the far bank
with a splash. Today,
I let memories slip
from my mind
to see them fall
and send ripples
out across time.
Some catch
the morning sun
and seem to reach
the far edges
of an inner ocean.
Others barely crease
the surface before
sinking, seeking
the concealment
of hidden depths.
Others skip joyously
across the bright water,
fully in the moment.
I ride them, holding on
to their brief flight,
realise that all things
of this world and beyond
are mere disturbances
set upon a vast still.
I couldn't go out to the pub with my friends
Because she was there. Her and her boyfriend and
Her new best friend. And it's just hit me;
This isn't love.
I'm no expert on what love is, but there's
No way it's sitting miserably at home whilst
Your sweetheart is out having fun with
Other people and therefore
Preventing you from being there.
Maybe now that's sorted out, I can
Finally forget about her, slowly
But surely. How hard
Can it be? She's just some
Girl from the past,
After all.
Yet whilst I'm writing this,
I'm wearing her old jacket.
Ah! The Realisation.
I brooded and cursed my life
Not knowing how to please my wife
I never felt love from her
But I felt dead without her
She was my everything
For her I was nothing
She showered some love here and there
Keeping me hooked on to love there
One day my heart fell apart
And I wanted to part
She just held on to my part
How could I now be apart
She played with me with joy
I like an idiot thought it was true joy
Little did I know it was a ploy
I was dancing like like a little boy
She went about her ways
Me doubting her no ways
She led the way
I followed her way
I thought she has gone astray
But it was me filling the ashtray
I wanted to give up my life
But it's tough taking a life
Then suddenly I realized
That life is to live and realized
Realized that it was an open relationship
And I presumed it as a monogamous relationship
I will now live an open relationship
Ah! The Realisation it's an open relationship
Brilliantly Blue Sky with Wispy Wondering Nebulous Cumulus Clouds
A bench. The scarred magpie
Emblematic
The dull thud of realisation
Easily mistaken for a heartbeat
And our conversation;
Itself a Venn diagram of times very non linearity
Our elliptical orbit spun me dizzyingly to it's furthest reaches and back again
Events of a million years ago fondly remembered
But for you and I
Only yesterday
I look back at my footprints,
Which showed my progression.
A better one indeed,
Learning how a life proceeds.
Know that yesterday isn't tomorrow.
The past chapter is closed,
A new one might start soon.
Put on a smile and go.
True colours comes out
When a problem arises.
A sudden courage appeared to solve
Those one by one, it brought peace.
Heart untangled from the ties
Which were knotted very tightly.
Unraveled one after another,
Till the heart was set free.
Now, a happier era has just begun.
Where people I trust are around me,
Jovial and sprightly,
Which makes me persist freely.
Whilst at school, in the years gone by, when as a child,
Impish I was, and sprightly too, but not so sure of my mind;
Followed the old teacher’s dictum, “memorise by rote,
To succeed in life”, she said, so I got into the hard grind;
Truly, the best of my growing years, I had burned out,
Losing my sweet innocence in, fun filled frolic and play;
Coming of age, dilatorily, I realised, an axiom of life,
Nothing shall be gained, and everything lost, if I delay;
Deep in my heart, before college, I was so foolishly certain,
I was the one to have a broad, sentient, and an open mind;
Years of academic pursuit have scholastically conditioned me,
Graduate study promised the rainbow, but coloured me blind;
In the birth, infancy, and adolescence of a growing mind,
I thought, perceived, and believed everyone called me “blessed”;
Gathering my senses, from the stupor of failed endeavours,
I realised late, but for good, they had actually said “distressed”;
Rising from the ashes, determined in taking up a position,
I staunchly, believed in core integrity, and plumped for justice;
The grand old existing system, of bureaucracy, among others,
Taught me the principles I was proud of, now is my nemesis;
I know not, and care not, what predicaments and problems,
Might appear today, tomorrow, or the more distant future;
I shall forget the past unredeemed, and enjoy the present
Indescribable, nothing can dampen my exuberant nature.

I used to think blood meant forever,
That family would never hurt you.
“Blood’s thicker than water,” right?
But I take the water—
Wash away the blood,
Remove the red-soaked stains from my life.
Blood thicker than water?
Maybe in another life.
Family—
A word that holds little meaning,
A word they never earned.
They should have been my safe space,
Yet now there’s just an empty space,
A place I no longer belong.
I’m still here,
But they are gone.
I’m the black sheep of the family,
You could say different from the rest.
I never fit, no matter how much
I changed my shape or colour.
I tried to change,
Tried to blend in,
But I hated that I had to pretend—
Pretend to be one of them.
I finally realized maybe the black sheep isn’t bad.
Maybe being different
Is the realest thing this family has ever had.
I was blind eager.
sad. to drape myself with you.
your rust stains my frame.
Life is but a dream
As what we perceive and experience
Are all ephemeral and temporary
A favourable occurrence or an unpleasant one
Are all but fleeting truths
That play upon the screen of life
Impermanence is their trait
So never be affected by it all
Hard times teach us a deeper sense of self and purpose
Strengthens our resilience in times of adversity
Provides a greater appreciation of life and loved ones
An increased capacity for altruism and empathy
Introspect in staid stillness
Meditation is the key to profound insight
For the realisation of the eternal light
Comes in a state of calmness in the mind
To achieve greater clarity and peace of mind
In a spiritual and intellectual awakening
Where we don’t seek shadows but the true source of light
Amidst the chaotic and transient nature of life
Live in the present neither the future nor the past
As sand moves continuously through the hourglass
And the alarm clock is ringing
Ding a ling a ling!
I lie dead in coffin
With a bit of smell
Doors opening for hell
And silence, like trapped deep inside a well
How ironic is it to see
Everything just vanish in front of your eyes
No happy beats , just weeps and sighs
No sad truth ,just happy lies
I lie there waiting to fell asleep
But the time passes very slow, tick tick tick
In the darkness , enveloped by peace
Death had given me what life could never give
Light seeps from the wood
Like a sword through a shield
Making its way to reach the depths
To free me from hell’s reach
But is it truth or is it a lie?
Like most of the time I spent when I was alive
Putting a fake smile to hide the pain
But alas at last when death comes, all these efforts goes in vain.
Who am i?
Just a rotting body hid in the dirt
A couple of memories that will fade away
A few familiar faces who will sway away
But who am i?
Am I not just another grave in a graveyard?
Am I not just another name on a funeral card?
It was hard to live.. and so now is death.. its hard…
I remember when I was a child
When in in a dark room I used to cry
Cause I thought there was someone hiding behind the door
Someone just beneath my floor
I used to close my eyes
Just weeping, crying
In the darkness I swear I could see
A pair of eyes behind the curtain
As I grew up I became the shadow
I became the one of whom I was afraid the most
I became an unseen face in the crowd
I became a ghost
All the years I have spent living
What did I do?
I was nothing but a cloud guided by the wind
A mastless ship, a traveller with no destination to be
I lie in a coffin
With thoughts fuelling me
I am now in a dilemma..
Am I truly dead ?
Or had I never actually lived??
I acknowledge You' are my eternal Father, I was
Born an earthly birth, in a corner of a universe
That drew its breath, from Your word rather
More You were, and are and will be; no mortal
Thing çan ever conquer me.' Though i know my
Parents bore and nurtured me, its you who alone
Who own the whole; the spirit heart and soul of
Me.' You sent your son to, get me freed.! from any
Trace of death dark seed, co-heir with Christ my
Opened eyes do see, i lift Your name in all in Majesty
My only hope and trust and guide, i place in You
Forever and ever, and much more besides.! I thank
You Father, for victory won, and the Holy Spirit dear
Lord; who always overcomes, the shadows of any fear.
A bird was born and bred in a nest,
She was preparing for a challenging test,
her wings grew out, she felt she was blessed
the world appeared more colourful and pleasant
Her days of freedom arrived
no more rules to abide,
She was overwhelmed with ecstasy,
and greatly moved by the outward flourishes.
Her spirits rose high,
higher than the limits of the sky,
she ran into a number of companies,
Anonymity turned into congeniality.
She assumed all of them to be frank
but this mistake of hers gave a deep flashback
of all those times when she would try her best
To be recognised as an equal counterpart in friendship
But all the rest treated her like an outsider
They would reject her proposal of being given equal share
Of happiness, acceptance and friendly behaviour,
She would start feeling lonely in a company of many
The world which appeared to be a happy place
Was now the one which had given her memories
Not the happy ones but those, which made her realise
that it's better to move out alone than keep on feeling left out....
