Just One Last Night – The Last Goodbye - A Musical Mini-Movie Duet
Sometimes, love lingers long after the last goodbye. We think we’re letting go—but in truth, we’re holding on.
Not just to memories, but to the soul that once stayed beside us.
The Ballad and mini-movie is about love and loss, about the quiet ache that never quite fades.
It asks:
Can love become a tether?
When all it ever wanted was to be free?
“Just One Last Night” explores that space between presence and release—
Where devotion becomes a quiet chain, and one heart’s longing might keep another from crossing into the light.
Note: The poem below qualifies the Lyrics of the Ballad in the movie which are not included here so as not to give away the story.

Tip: best listened to with headphones.
A flame in the dark I lit
blind to the shadow it cast
Love, a thread spun of moonlight,
I thought forever would last
I built a shrine from memories
not caring I’d sealed his soul.
Lingering on ~ his reluctant spirit
Between enduring torn.
The path ahead for me was dim
The fault all mine – he couldn’t soar
Reluctantly, with laboured breath,
I released and let my true love go
I lost his Soul with poignant grace
With soulful sorrow upon my face.

At the Zoo we were forced to withdraw
after we saw the beast that we saw
We got such a fright
But found out later that night
It was only Larrys Mother-in-law!
Enter in Zany Zoo if it qualifies.
1000 miles per hour scientists have calculated the Earth’s rotation
And 25000 miles in 24 hours according to their quotation
They say it is the distance from the sun qualifies their concession
But it is the facts that they failed to mention
The fact in the matter is, it is not gravity, the sun or the moon
So I thought I will break it down so you can see the big picture soon
And those scientific theories are fallible and can be popped like a balloon
Then you can stop watching the Discovery channel and watch a Disney cartoon
In order to deliver the facts I will change from monorhyme
This will give you the information in digestible nuggets in time
Here we go:
Fact: we know that love makes the world go round
Just enough to stop you flying off the ground
According to my calculations, there are 380000 people making love every second
Wait a minute, just in case I am beckoned
22800000 in a minute, 1368000000 in an hour and 32832000000 in a day.
That’s a lot of people indulging in naughty play
Therefore each person generates 3045808967 gigawatts of negative energy
Calculate it yourself and if I’m wrong I’ll change my name to Cenergy.
The negative energy is what repels us from the sun
This is not generated from the up and down of underwear of everyone
If we quit the Earth will stop spinning
And this may mean we’ll come out winning
For we won’t die or age in years
We’ll never be made redundant due to someone younger taking our careers
You can borrow money and go in debt
And never pay it off if you take it over a year I guarantee the bet.
For if we stop love, time will stand still
And to get it moving again would need the love pill
So from me and Captain Morgan, we say good night
Tomorrow how the earth got it’s crust we will write.
So say good night to this drunken plumber
And by the way, if we stop the sun will suck us in and that’s a bummer
Good night
How do you know you're a poet?
What qualifies you to have the title?
Are you a connoisseur of words?
Do you live and breathe poetry?
Do words pour out of your soul?
Are you a lover of rhymes?
So I ask you again, my friend?
How do you know you're a poet?
Because I don't have a clue.

A Virtuous Woman
There are different types of women
As you may very well know
I am here to talk about her,
And her goodness I will show
A virtuous woman is
And talks of good things,
The joy of her love is strong,
And happiness it will bring
She works with her hands and
Takes good care of her home
She comforts her husband
When he is feeling alone.
She teaches her children and
Trains them very well
There is so much to be said
About a virtuous woman but
Not enough time to tell.
Proverb 18 and 22 said;
Whosoever finds a wife,
Which is a woman,
Find a good thing and obtain
Favor in the Lord;
They will remain together
Till death do them part.
A virtuous woman is not
Slothful in business
And serving the Lord
Doing wrong will not be
Found in her mind,
Or even in her heart.
Her husband trust her
Every step of the way,
He will never let her go
No matter what you say.
She dresses accordingly
To make her husband proud
She speaks with a gentle
Voice, not very loud.
She is always doing things to
Get her husband praise, sometimes
Just watching her
Will keep him so amazed.
A virtuous woman is strong
And worth more than
Rubies itself; and when
Her family hurt, she
Hurt more herself.
A woman shall be praised
If she is a woman that
Fear the Lord. A virtuous woman
Qualifies with mind, spirit,
Soul, and heart.
let today be the present tense.
yesterday be the past tense.
tomorrow be the future tense.
let we be the parts of speech.
you are the noun there,
i am your verb,
you can make the pronoun to talk about the noun,
adverb can't stand without verb,
let adjective be verb which qualifies the noun,
noun you can have the company of preposition,
conjunction shouldn't come between us,
by seeing you i became interjection.
let your surroundings be the sentence.
you be the subject.
make your life verb.
make use of object,
you and you only be the complement.
don't adjust and go and become adjunct.
don't listen the idioms of some idiots.
we don't want to be homophones.
you are the main clause.
i'm your subordinate clause.
without main subordinate cant.,
this is life. enjoy it in grammar's way.....
Faith
Hope and
Charity,
An eye single
To glory of God,
Qualifies each person
For the work of salvation
For all his brothers and sisters
Caught in traps of never ending sin,
Trying to find escape in Babylon.

"She is not earth tied - running, stumbling.
No one has seen her hiding in shadows.
Her fear is not here but spread below her
A claustrophobic obstacle course
Fetteringly beautiful in its surface beauty.
She flies eyes down. She is a raptor.
A predator preying on a wing and a prayer
For those waiting, against the rocks beyond.
They pray, while her prey, in turn, prays.
Her hunt is no trivial pursuit but forever survival.
It is the present that determines her future
At the top of an interminable food chain."

and Tracy Decker's RSVPoetry contest...
though, as it is not really a response, I don't think it qualifies LOL
but I had great fun writing it.
who is a mother?
a million dollar question
that flows through ones heart
and asks questions
not every one who gives birth
qualifies to be a mother
some are not motherly enough
to even rear their kids
some sell their kids
some abandon them...
is that a mothers role?
a rhetorical question
the mother i have
has a role far greater than her title
the privilege i have to share her life
is beyond my comprehension
she is more than a mother
not because she birthed me
because she knows her role
superbly than a cookie recipe
those poor old days
when we manage to even eat rice
and life was difficult
when we needed chicken...
for christmas and new year
and a whole chicken will be cut into half
so we will have a sense of livelihood
i have more than a mother
a mother who groomed us
all in the way of christ
thank God for the bible club of those days
and how she often tells us...
"say the truth and let the devil be ashamed"
when you lie, there are two ballots boxes
lieing makes you vote for the devil
i have more than a mother
a mother who elevates my self esteem
when people step on me
she makes me realize my worth
"i am fearfully and wonderfully made" she says
day by day, she pours into my ear
to keep myself pure
i have more than a mother
thank God for you
being a guardian, mentor and role model
over my existence...
even when we want to derail
she sets us on the right path
reminding us of the gravity of laziness
and how it doesnt pay
i have more than a mother
and i thank God for giving us you
to procreate us...
over five decades ago you were born
and today we celebrate not just your birthday
but the opportunity it has afforded me
to have more than a mother
They conquered my land
They stole it away
Made a ball of my head in the sand
So black fella dies
As white fella lies
For assimilation we qualifies
They took away our babies
Make a good life for em
No, if’s or but’s or maybe’s
With drink and the Mission
They broke up tradition
For marriage white fella permission
Aborigines in shanties now congregate
Even though for forties years
Black fella this land did habitate
White fella does what he will
With trees and land fill
As our home he continue to kill.
To Sleep in Ocean Deep
After he did die and then went to sleep
They had him buried in the ocean deep
With big waves and while being so wide
He forever there will remain and abide.
There is something that is full of emotion
And love with devotion about an ocean
Each of many memories it does remind
Me of my father who I can longer find.
It all takes me back to when a little kid
When into ocean my dad's dead body sled
Officer came with orders which were direct
To proudly pay dad all of his last respects.
At church chapel sincere service did perform
Outside was a lightening and shower storm
No matter what we all eventually have to die
Then wipe a tear from each eye when we cry.
Ocean waves can create a lot of comfort
As they try to wash away all of the hurt
Body is on bottom and God's greatest goal
Is to bring to Him my dad's precious soul.
My dad died of a Naval accident of unknown
origin late at night on the Carrier Intrepid now
in New York Harbor. It was in August of 1956
and I had just turned 15 with three younger
sisters and two brothers. He is buried off of
Sicily in 200 feet of water. His body was
recognized by laundry markings on clothes.
All of this qualifies me to write the above poem.

Not sure that this qualifies as a true Haiku
Today was the day to register my little one for school
We left the school with him crying it was so cruel
He had to be 5 by Aug.1 but sept.8 is his birthday
Now he has to wait another year and I said no way
It brought his little eyes to tears
I tell you a mother's pride is a mother's fears
I feel so bad because he is so smart
Now we have to see if he qualifies for head start
I have no answers for him that's what really hurt me
As a mother and a parent this just shouldn't be
He cried all the way home what could I do
When all his little heart wants is to go to school
TRUE STORY
I. God desires your faith my dear,
Sorry, I just know it's true,
It's not really in my pay grade
To explain God's love to you.
With meager faith I also struggle
Don't feel like you flail alone,
Loving others seems to help though
When He calls you to atone.
Don't just reach out for what you're lacking
Open up to servant's call,
Giving what you need to others,
Might be what serves you best of all.
II. So sorry that your hurting, wish it wasn't so
So sorry that your angry, wish that wasn't true
What qualifies me to act as God' ally?
It's certainly not strength or virtue
No, just my brokenness is why.
No answer really, even where to go
And what you feel is smugness speaking,
That I'm here to show you cure,
Is just a soul like you that's seeking
No illusions that I'm pure.
Sharing only what has served me
With no judgments to apply,
Knowing that your path is not mine,
Still would hold you when you cry
Still would be your valentine.
Do not wish you harm, not your enemy,
Don't suggest your words are crap
Or with you more than reason,
A friend it seems you won't unwrap,
In this or any season.
And though I hate to be a bore,
You really think you can't love more?
If service is your joy in life
Why now so sad that you're a wife! ?
Choose to show that you are free.
