that desolation can assuage?
If being young means 
persisting in ambition,
an event of gratification,
venturing in fearless projects,
taking risks and walking through Hell;
is it worth the effort of being bold

What does a child know of placidity?
Little heart stirs,
quickened by
inbound
ducks;
pier
is warm,
feet soaking
up excitement.
Grownups pine to be stirred, awash with peace.
