Premium Member A Great Big Unseen Pointed Finger

The difference in saying you,
a great big unseen pointed finger, or we.
I didn’t know. Some figurines
wave while others scrutinize with wizened eyes.
The analytic panics, hairs raised by static.
The simple leans in to catch butterflies. One is cynical.
The other sensuous. One slaps your hand away.
One squeezes it. Personality
like the word itself broken in pieces, a flotilla.
In the storm the words like jigsaw waves.
In placidity, the sun’s too hot or doldrum’s ebb and flow.

We will make it!

Still, even in this exchange, coarse sand,
a castle with a moat. Your motives sought - there I go again
“Y O U R…”
Sisterly size-up. Am I trying to win? I didn’t know
we were preparing to arm wrestle. I’m unshaped,
neither the flat piece of a puzzle or linked.

The dreamy sky from the beach. Salt in the air,
eyes on the horizon, lap of the waves —
the same lift I feel when swinging high and higher.
The excitement of adventure, no one’s judging
my every word. I’m breathless…it’s breathtaking
when my feet float above the ground.
There I’m in the arms of love. There I point
and God answers with his digit reaching out, touching mine.
I am reborn by the finger of God.

We will make it!

Premium Member The Silence of Her Eyes

I fell in love with the silence of her eyes-
those unspoken pleasures
no one else has ever seen,
like the intoxicating placidity
of fine red wine
or the noiseless footsteps
of lingering thoughts that can't be stilled.
Words could make no sense of it..
the silence explained everything.

Premium Member Pearl of the Orient

Donning splendiferous landscapes stretching for miles,
A culture that aptly prides, in bold, welcoming smiles;
A thriving land of islands~ an archipelago evincing awe,
A resplendence of nature, an exclamation of hurrah.

Sandy beaches embrace realms of pristine coastline,
Harboring lush foliage, embodying sublimity divine,
Of marine life, corals, reveling warmth of idyllic clime,
Reminiscent of paradise, of placidity, stilled in time.

Fun loving, amiable, proud tradition extolling grace,
Quaint, yet modern, is the vibrant vibe of this place;
Of museums, antiques, art galleries, buzzing cafe,
Of hotels, casinos, of famed sunsets on Manila Bay.

Luzon, the Visayas, Mindanao~ gems of the blue sea,
Living in tranquility, projecting utter beauty and glee;
Islands of hospitality, homeland of a privileged few,
A magnificent portrait, upon sea-canvas nature drew.

Philippines~ an acclaimed, lauded, pearl of the Orient,
Rich in diverse culture, her allure citizens augment,
Pulsating rhythms of hearts and souls, worthy of praise;
A treasure preserved, revered since the ancient days.

A dream is a microscope through which we look at the hidden occurrences in our souls. Erich Fromm
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the placidity of the night's embrace,
bewitched the cosmos with an arcane grace.
The moon, a silver orb, may induce its rise.
Oozing its ethereal aurora over the skies
Whispers of worm words waft on wafture wear,
As the stars spangle, their nexus is spare.
The night wiles with its vestigial spell,
Drawing us in, under a talisman dwell.
Penumbras plaster pegs poltergeists of trees,
The twilight augury decry casts souls at ease.
Geezers of nightgown awaken from slumber,
Suing solace in the Cimmerian shade to clamber
The eventide sky overawes with a cosmic array.
Stars bedazzle and coxswain us on our way.
Moonlight sumptuous aura in a gentle glow,
Steer us through the shadow as the nexus flows.
Ebony necromancy decry a glamorous sight.
Drawing us close to the serendipity of the night.
In this cosmic wee hour, dreams bear flight.
Our souls are raised, and our hearts blight.
So let us indulge in this nocturnal delight,
As dusk vamps, squirting a glamor of delight.
Let us wander in the moonlit haze,
As sableness susurrous surreptitious sprays
Wee crepuscule twiddles, a plum night symphony
Where conceit phantasm and verity shed sympathy
Allotting an awareness acumen ariose and aureate
Upon ubiquitous utters uncanny unsophisticate.
The Ocean (Hybridanelle)
Moving ridges - blue, green salty de-bree
Lightly, sweep the beach;
As inland rolls the sea
All species, shapes shells' species,
Tumble to shore, scoured by wind, by sand
Frothed, hi-lo crests, toss, create odd creases
Ocean sounds, subdued to loud
Galaxies twinkling, twinkling, over sandy shore
Moving ridges - blue, green, salty de-bree
Limicoline birds probe of tiny beaks
Cerripedes cling - of rock jetty walls
Tumble to shore, scoured by wind, by sand
Dephinidae family-play, chirrups avow
Perceived near silted edge
As inland rolls the sea
Blessed - this Shangri-la
Peace, quiet soul
Creation, presented us
Euphony, miles around
Tunes linger over moist earth
Moving ridges - blue, green salty de-bree
Humility - our
Ever-so-ever thankful
Peace, quiet soul
Waves' tumble, night does endow
Loose sand - wet clay
As inland rolls the sea
Visons 'cross vast waters
Ruffles of promise dapple there
Ever-so-ever thankful
Righteous melodies heard
Moon casts it's shadow
Moving ridges - blue, green salty de-bree
As inland rolls the sea
Placidity drowns fears
All shells, shapes, species
Ruffles of promise dapple there
Frothed, hi-lo white caps, toss, creates odd creases
Premium Member Reflected In the Honeymoon
ripples of water torture accepted
the wrinkle of time descending
mannahly marantic romance
torticollis dribs and drabs of syringe
honey’d seeds remain; cakes fade away
dawn will erase; placidity will forget
but the depths release their seamonsters
reflected in the honeymoon, between palms
with firework stars overhead; eternal bliss
Brewing Darkness
Beguiling placidity of luring hiss
Upon the oblivion of a venomous kiss
Like the grasping toxin of a viper’s sting
Amidst a violet lullaby the night-sky would sing,
Sable sky, O reflection of debility
Clutching the soul into peaceful futility
With your visage so pallid, and O so white
 Shining above clouds ashen as the night,
Brewing darkness, dwelling with might
Tearing the sun as your opaqueness ignites
Approaching you emerge with eternal power
All orbs fade as dreams devour…
When the Mother Cries
Listening, reaching for the Ideal,
her wanderlust- devoid of fear
Seeking the truth-
The Mother- crying for a thousand years
Of all the pain
Inflicted-
They are killing Her in every way
Carcinogenic ants raging wars
Creating immortal scars,
Killing Her giving heart-
She cries... FEW know
But She shows me the way
"There still is a place,"
the Great whispered in my ear, "of where hush and lull
still abide.
Free of the stinking, free of the rapists and killers
of My apportioned Nature."
So I listened and became raptured by the picture
She bestowed upon me;
A placidity, a serenity of depth and white
Where the pines yawn
And the constellations are radiant-
She begged me to try;
"Live my beautiful, faithful child
In the place of virgin
left only because THEY
cannot abide by it's harshness"-
"But YOU", she sang, "can consort with the beast and
the beauty to make all One, As I die
In all other places-
I leave you this small piece of Myself."
I screamed to her- Crying-"But You, knowing of All- giver of All
Why abandon Your post?"
"Because The cancer is burning My eternal flesh into
nothing.
Only I am no longer eternal."
and I understood- and I followed her lead
Now I stand in a place known to few,
To Her, to me, and to the silent melody
Of Wildness and White
My eyes filled With joy as I heard Her caring moans
singing to Sister Moon -
Through an assemblage of wolves,
as She winks at me through blue, pink and radiant emerald
eyes...
I know I am home.
Premium Member Raindrops End
satisfying sound, raindrops end—
swooshing of dark-wet, late green branches
intensifying quiet of morning
thunder and lightning rescind—
mourning absentee birds
there’s no sun
as Autumn comes,
apples
ornamental—
in sodden basket
of orchard.
sweetness
lies on ground
rolled in
debris of
sticks and stones.
whispering zephyr
coolness in its aplomb.
choice
lovelies brim on trees.
the waterlogged bark
with placidity of dawn—
sudden break of chirps
Premium Member Life--A Complex Endeavor
Why must life be such a complex endeavor
Always pressing in upon the seeking heart
Making every day a hard-earned victory, or
A resounding defeat, an open or closed door?
It is the middle ground we seek, the placidity
Smooth flowing pleasures that bring us joy
Calmness prevailing in times of bitter feast
Words which deliver us to peace and serenity.
At the end of every day being able to speak
Of the day gone as time well-spent, well-lived,
Words of gratitude merited by a good deed
Humility earned, not seen a sign of the weak
Expecting the best of everyone around us
The simple life embracing morality we seek.
Patriotic Passion
No matter If history be repeated to war or battle,
Will go back fight and won the medals for chest,
Neither be retreated or nor give up from battle zone,
Until I led the combat to conquest,
For even at the last breath and drop of blood,
Adhere to delimitation line till the peace and rest,
And if the essence of mother soil vanished,
Put forth my brow sweat to saturate this placidity harvest,
Make them grow, and buoy up with ocean flow,
So, this land become the mighty, at his best,
Encompass whole fragrance of brotherhood and sodality,
Endeavor for honor, tranquility, and resurrect,
After all now I can take deep puff and pass away,
Attribute this patriotic poem to countryman sanest,.
And I Shahid pray, supplicate and invocate, that you,
May be the place of harmonious, pleasant zest.
Premium Member Blue Brine Horizon
Swelling tide billows in with ultimate force,
insulting bronze sandy shoreline on its course.
Tossing creatures about in brine water home,
mixing, churning into a white frothy foam.
Against blue horizon velvet waters peer to merge,
illusion vanishes with every sea wavelet surge.
Eyes search far beyond azure ocean so vast,
replicates placidity recently glassed….
An Ode To An Insidious Sensation
Beneath the translucent veil of placidity, emerged that sound
To all is pure evil forecasting the prelude of a prolonged agony
Of flashy tear drops falling from a man abandoning his captaincy
A voice gushing through blood to veins in a body utterly bound
With the zeal of a new couples tasting a love heartily profound
Never imagining their pampered sparkle would ever reach atrophy
A persisting whisper like the howls of a one thousand wolfhound
Driven by lust, the fervent fervour fatuously never faltered my heart
Desire has simply dyed my insidious sensation with colours agleam
With ease, the prey has fitly fallen into web not using a single dart
Night wiped the eyes of conscience, sanity swept in a sea of steam
For sweet sin never countenances evildoers to venerate the extreme
Bed saved its sheets for passers-by to err, the game began to start!
A Moonlit Sky
To compare you to a moonlit sky
Bathed in the light of the stars aglow
With gloom and Night across the earth
Your face, the Moon, a beauty to bestow
Perhaps a glee of only a few hours or so
For the darkness shall flee and the sun shall glow
Yet beyond all time your visage shall shine
Whether the murk shall come or afar shall go
Allaying placidity with nightfall shall grow
An embrace that renders your charm of woe
When the heart succumbs to emotion, to Night
 Reason lives not within the core below
So ebbs the Night beneath clear dawn
I now shall await that you emerge anew
