Between the Pillars of Black and White

"Between the Pillars of Black and White"

You sit alone in your power
between the pillars of
black and white
holding your book in hand

The words are your keys
not the mind of some libertine
an interventionist morai fate
twisting and calling dead dreams forward

Your scattered thoughts
captured in a glowing glass wall
Light prisms seen every once-in-a-while
like Halley's Comet, at least a fallen star

There you are, playing cards
gambling time away
playing with fire, fingers tap and smoulder
a risk from the start

God Love
lives bruised in your heart
calling you to leave your seat and stand
Walk forward towards the other

Truth stands firm in Trust
holds no fear free falling towards you
in the courage of Love
Chaos is seen through the steam on a mirror

S.O.A.K.
Joy smiles in her bubble bath
Sees him on the other side writing words
passing the keys white doves and feathers

He makes her laugh
when the burns are hard
winning a Life with charm
he holds his hand out

And says,
"No more harm"

Twin Snow Pillars

He watches and wait,
the prey unaware of his gaze
But he hungers no longer for flesh
He chases after the spirit of the wind ...
White Wolf in the snow blend,
and alongside him is D. White his friend
	   White by White,
        two pillars of snow frost
	Unmelted friendship
Together in the winter forest,
they observe the evergreens forever rising
And with boundless joy,
they pursue the spirit of the wind again
	White Wolf leaping ...
	 airborne in ecstasy
    D. White leaping high as well
Poet friends of the forests, on the muse chase together,
following the spirit of the poets trail

A tribute to my two talented beloved poet friends,
White Wolf and Darren White

The Five Pillars of Islam

Prophet Mohammed(may peace be upon him) said:
Islam built on five:

1-To witness "There is no God,but God and Mohammed is a prophet of God"

2-To do your five times prayers(Alfajar,Aldahar,Alasar,Almaghrib,Alesha)

3-To give Zakat money (similar to charity)

4-To fast in Ramadan month (To hold your self from eating, to remeber the poor, and to control your self and protect your self from the sins.

5-Haj Albait (for those who can).."Going to Becca to glorify and praise God "
God says in Al umran 96:
"The first sanctuary appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah, a blessed place, a guidance for the peoples".

Premium Member Pillars of Mexico

Crumble
brothels sprout
flesh peddlers collect their fees
selling daughters
in twos and threes
Lopez or Diaz
lazy or defiant
escaped
in polluted lagoons
the virus spreads

Dancing with the dead
priests absolve the devils
in their mist
Pilar sold her virginity
for a few bars of gold
wrapped in an old ladies hatred
she murdered her vows

Mexico is a land of smiles
the knife only glints
in the Aztec sun
as they bury you
after eating your heart

The Five Pillars of Poetry

Imagination is the river
that guides the quill.
Dreams the sailing ship
that unleashes the voyage
through the pages of a poets mind.

To write is to find
the meaning of love.
Where beauty opens the gate,
to a never ending yellow brick road
Of human emotion.
For that is what we seek.

The pen can create gods
and mortal frailty.
Sunshine is the span of life,
darkness is forever
and within these letters
we find immortality.

Beauty is found in pain
hope is an emerald sea,
envy comes from Oscar’s words
and belief becomes a prejudice.
The pen will drown your epitaph
for the Cyclops knows his destiny

Words can be a jigsaw of fears,
Or a rose sculptured in the heart.
All belong to confession,
trapped in the confetti of poems
which hide behind a harlequin mask
though a poets heart,
is for all to see

Pillars

The strongest den, most beautiful place, unbreakable bond s and each others strength.
Beautiful memories wrapped and treasured.
Yes, family is the most beautiful gift one can ever get.

If we pay little attention, if we do our bit,
Those little flaws and creeks can be easily fixed.
Refurbishing isn't all that difficult!
All we need is sincere unbiased maturity.

Love creates happy families and happy families are always contented. Contentment creates happy surrounding...... A happy world!!

A sweet little family.
Parents and their chicklings.
Every nook and corner enjoyed their chuckling.
Happiness kept the house twinkling.
Understanding and love enthralling.
Their bond, strong and Sterling.
Knotted together like a wind chime, always jingling.

Siblings grew up and family started expanding.
Why love and faith started shrivelling?
Why their bond started ravelling?
Why each others presence became galling?
Why it's nothing more than gaioling?

Parents started shattering.
They had invested their life in knitting and bejewelling.
Their cubs had started fighting and rebelling!

None had the courage of analysing and addressing.
Strongly entwined, then why this disentangling!

New members take time in adjusting and accepting.
Why siblings lose their understanding?

Relations do not deserve fraying.
Rekindle, start sewing!
Family is a place where every one is happy, contented and smiling.

Premium Member Arches Reflect: Pillars of Human Passage

We stand still as stone, hold our shape over time
Watchers of the mosque, we watch as masks walk
Each passing stride a new universe of re-re-redesign
Every step under us, on the same curve of cold rock

Carved from the whole, statues with earth-turning toes
Clay feet on a cobbled road, yet we continue
Seeing the still-captured unease of being alone
Static herd, sighing hive, we eye worlds within you

Still, we'll spill your secrets when a wrong wind hits us
Whether from heaven's breath or heathen sent
Neither faith nor time nor bombs colliding play favorites,
All of it razes all of us, to a gatherless disorientation

Mere dust, trading memories of your faces from the belly of what's left,
The plastic bottle; an eternal hourglass, immune to time’s theft

Parliamentary Pillars Pleasing Posh

The turbulence of a tube in a rusted bowl is akin to a striped sky. Acronyms are quite quick to jump over a lake at dawn. And districts discussed dominatrix in an iron ball. Cavitation clapping in a vest that is pink. And five hundred lemons laid out bare. Interesting how a slug does have no flippers in a watery drift. And a biscuit melting in a cup. Bits. Misused. Miscellaneous page of itemised devolution. Require no more. Thirst is a barrel. And a barrel in a chest. Young. Factions form filled. Gone gone gone. In a honey comb drip. Good. Exemplorary examples. Hahahaha beer bread. Hahahaha fortification fortified fries with forks swinging. *** parliamentary z

Premium Member The Pillars of the Seaside

The tall coconut trees
Resemble pillars
Erected like lamp poles
Spred like umbrellas
Stand in a row
Towering above the equatorial sea shore
Welcoming tourists
Applauding the coming back of the fishermen
Dancing in the dusk and moonlight
Amidst the disco music of the sea
Have long forgotten the strike of Tsunami

Five Marble Pillars For New Year

To learn how to recite koine Greek
That I may drink from the life-giving creek

Finish reading the words of Plato
To grow my knowledge thereto

Give up eggs and milk
So I can fully wear the white silk

Travel this dark world of hellfire
That I may hear Christ’s silver lyre

Be better for aeons to see
So I can become a marble tree
