Best Pass Away Poems

Premium Member Stay

Golden moments, their precious hues,
Tarnish and fade into the blues...
Nothing gold can stay, they say.
Why, must these things pass away?
Was happiness not meant to see?
What a wonderful world that would be;
Of flowers that should not wilt,
With the family that was built.
If I could, I would have my way...
And, everything gold would stay.

(Inspired by Robert Frost's poem, 'Nothing Gold Can Stay')

Friends Don'T Pass Away

Friends don’t pass away, in my heart there you will stay
I miss you and you’re not gone yet
I love you and never told you, friend
I have no words, I have rambling thoughts
I’m scared for you, I’m scared for myself
I hope you’re peaceful; God loves you and is waiting to wrap his arms around you
I miss your smiling face, yet I can’t bare to come say my goodbyes
I don’t understand, I do understand
Friends don’t pass away; in my heart there you will stay

I’m panicking

Last words will never be enough
I have none anyway, I’m speechless
Remember me in heaven, watch over me
You’re so beautiful, I feel breathless
My heart is heavy
I’m determined, I feel defeated
I’m waiting, Somber is my day
I’m restless, I’m waiting
Letting go is hard, I don’t want to miss you
Friends don’t pass away; in my heart there you will stay

Guilt ridden for staying away, I can’t see you today
I can, I won’t
I need to; I don’t want to, I have to stay away

Didn’t you know, I told you
My mom died the same way, Alcohol keep it at bay
I have no room to talk I drink everyday
Why you and not me? I can’t understand why I get to live another day
God has passed me by and chosen you to come and stay

I’m panicking

I feel selfish; I want to take your pain away
I’m rambling I have nothing and yet so much to say
I miss you and you’re not gone yet
Friends don’t pass away; in my heart there you will stay

If I Pass Away

If I die and go
Will lonely tears fall?
Will the butterflies,
The birds in the sky
Sing and dance sad songs?

Will they miss me?
Grieve and deplore?
I now wonder
What would they feel?

If I leave
My spirit
Will remain

Like clouds
Drift in

Bliss

God Beholds All Time--Time To Be Born--Time To Pass--Away

God has His Reasons
For all things to happen

As time.. with my brother
Was time my brother was to go...
For tis be..
If my brother was to live
Than my brother would be...

God holds all time..
Life and death..
Love.. Faith and Hope
God is the Beholder of all things

God holds the Time..
When a person is born
When a peson passes away
God is the Beholder of our Days

As tho.. Many know..
As our time.. Now beholds
a chance for us..
To come to Jesus
a chance in time
For us to obtain
Eternal Life
Live forever in Eternity
With Christ...

Come to Jesus
While there is Time
For God beholds
All time...
For time each of us to be born in this world
and time each of our lives shall end
Only God is the Beholder of Time

God's Will .. God's Reasons are Divine
Come to Jesus...

Until I Pass Away

Until I Pass Away

Through time will be span after span
And must be sure to do what we can
All of women and mankind preserve
Energy to do it continue to conserve.

Only with best should caste your lot
Make sure all battles are hard-fought
As all of your life have to go through
Enjoy each lovely site and great view.

Meet challenges and do take head on
Use up your effort until it is all gone
Even though you may often blunder
Praise God and about Him wonder.

Sing a song while you will do it well
Then God will always be sure to tell
How terrific you sang above the storm
Those hearts around you up did warm

Such a sermon we never heard before
We always wanted to hear much more
Still remember each word day by day
Did over and over until I passed away.

This To Will Pass Away

This To Will Pass Away

He worked a lifetime on an ageless thing,
An ideal, lofty and high.
But there was one who whispered.
"This to, will die".

They carved a statue out of stone,
And swore that it would stay.
But like a man made out of dust.
This soon was gone away.

One gathered fortunes vast and sure,
And boasted with a song.
Naked he stood before his God.
His fortunes to were gone.

Build what you will and watch it fall;
Tis but a game we mortals play.
For life is fleeting as the wind;
And all to soon will pass away.

God alone stands straight and sure.
In His well-ordered rim.
However fine our work is vain.
Unless we work for Him.

With bowed head I labor on;
In tears from day to day.
Yet in each new sorrow I find hope.
Thank God this to, will pass away.

There Will Be Day I Disappear By Ivan Bunin

There will be day I disappear
All be the same in empty room
A table and, of course, a chair
And simple icon I resume.

And butterfly in coloured silk
will fly under the ceiling blue
to flit to rustle and to blink
to soar to flutter there anew.

The same be bottom of the sky
to look in open window of mine,
The azure sea be still and smooth
with all its deep attracting views.

Premium Member If I Should Pass Away Tonight

If I should pass away tonight, my dear
Thou shalt sing no tragic songs for me
Afraid I'd never again come to hear
That voice of thine that touched my heart's decree

Must thou not waste even a single tear
Though I am not forcing thee to pretend
Bestow me some orchids, not frail nor sere
And tell me thou hast loved me till the end

My life burned softly, like a fleeting ember
If not for thee, I'd long since greeted death
Let rain mourn my loss as thou dost remember
For when sunlight comes, thou wilt, too, forget

When We Pass Away

By some people are perturbed and annoyed
God gave us moments to be enjoyed
And on occasion He will want to bother
Even if brother, mother, sister or father

Read God's Bible which is quite a book
And after another breath by you was took
Be sure to continue on to another page
Which was written by a wise old sage

On occasion good dreams do come true
But our son Jamie and Jesus died at thirty-two
And as over several parts we start to skim
We have many great memories of them

I wake up each morning and can hardly wait
To write happy poems which will celebrate
The coming of Christ and also our son
Who we love and each are a precious one

The Bible has never been a bunch of bull
We are greeted by God's great gospel
Then here on earth will no longer stay
And return to heaven when we pass away

Pass Away - Haiku - Tanka

The dead that now know
God's move in ~predestined~ wind
Sift through the free grass.

You must be longer
in there than I am this staid.
Above you, to leave
Where distant dogs bark, since then
My fallen soul buries rest.

As I Pass Away the Day

"As I walk towards the night,
I draft away from within reality,
To enter a mind that's towards the warmth,
Thoughts that cross my seeds within my mind,
To find the the beauty to and see each day,
To many I'm a hippy trippy person,
From the positive mind even through negativity,
And finally from seeing the moon across my window,
Closed my eyes to finally dream away within the beauty my mind has viewed...."
