Premium Member Without a Parachute the Other Flies

Never let your heart win the debate

If your mind has a cogent argument.

They both wander from time to time;

One has a temperament to analyze,

Without a parachute the other flies.

Premium Member Santa Used An Emergency Parachute

Twas the night before Christmas
Dressed in my red Santa pajamas.
  Tap, Tap, Tap, and a whispered strain;
     Santa knocked at my windowpane.

Dressed in a red velvet hat and suit,
Lined in white fur, a black belt and boots.
  His hair, so white I had to stare;
His breath puffing white in the chilly air.

"Sorry, but you've no chimney, that's plain
To see, and I know this is insane."
  "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Hollered as we hung in the air."

"Santa, use your big magic charm bags
To deliver the gifts with name tags."
"It takes time to deliver gifts from dusk to dawn.
I emerged in a parachute to land on the lawn."

I said, "That's okay, Santa, I'm totally pleased
I'll give you a squeeze, I'm not displeased."
"I thought delivering you had different shifts,
I was wondering how I'd get my gifts."

Premium Member My Parachute Ropes

I move, I move,
My wheels turn like wild things
My hands cry the rims
I run in my dreams
I jump with style
I dance

I move, and dance
My eyes sing like sopranos
My mouth uses color
Like a rainbow
Behind me
I run

I run and I run
The drip lines in my arm
Are parachute ropes
I steer them alone
To land here
I stand

I dream, I dream
Nothing keeps my mind
Inside my faltering
Little loving body
With dancing
Writing pen

Premium Member Parachute

My mind is open
It has to be
Yet find myself tangled
In a tree

The wind
It wrestles
The safety line
As I hang with the birds
A silent wind chime

The breeze of emotion
Blows this way and that
The sun on my skin..
Then the rain caveat

My silky voice trembles
I just shouldn't be here
"The fates have designed you
This landing place, dear"

The view is amazing
Every moment you fall
Yet get trapped in the elements
Every hail-storm and squall

When the branches entangle
They can claw and then tear
So come back to enfold me
Crease me neatly with care

I just want to return
To that whistling door
The propellor is cut back
And we step-out once more

For this view is amazing
But is there to be shared
I'm designed to be open
Not land-locked, ensnared

Yes our minds can be unfurled
It's the best we can be
The leap from the sky
What it takes to feel free

Parachute Woman

I go back
to the place
we first met
the ghost
of you I
can't forget

The time spent
at my place
I'll never regret
seeing your
beautiful face

Now my heart
is falling
spiraling down
in flames
feelings lingering

Parachute woman
I'm in a
freefall high
above this land
all I see
are shadows
of you

I can't wait
for different love
or for
another parachute
to come along
and save me

Our passion
burned like a
midnight sun
maybe I'll
find another
but you
are the one...

Aviated Parachute

A short poetry of Parascending by Mrs.Madhavi

                                                Aviated parachute

Parachute parachute you flying so high.
Like an eagle you swing in the sky.
 Flourishingly Waving in an air.
Your skill astonished me, Take me away !

A play of lustrous rainbow colour.
 Cascaded by a Blushing rain.
 Sensing the rhythm, flower‘s crimsoned.
Making me feel excited, Take me away !

Inspiring me as you without wings swiftly aviate.
Fortunately you have a flying glance at this amazed beauty of the earth.
Give me one chance some another day.
Move me away, Take me away !

People will greet me, when myself Joe will be lime lighting in the sky.
Viewing the artistic magnifying creativity, beautified by arduous earthborn
 mortalizing persona‘s.
my itchy feet, move me away, Take me away !

screaking high, conveying regards to almighty and pray for celestial peace.
Ohhh my spice jet please take me high.
For the god‘s sake make me fly.
Take me away or else I will die !

Sky Falling

High above the parade ground
Our four groups of three
Lined up in a helicopter
Hovering over the trees

With parachutes heavy on our backs
The jump master checks for any slack
Chutes tightly packed, closed with twine
Fastened by cord to the static line

No one wants to be the first
Though we all willingly volunteered
After several hours of training
Our first time was finally here

Hooked into the floor
Inching closer to the open door
One by one... we jump
Our hearts in our throats... thump

Whoosh... we are floating
Slowly toward the ground
Open parachutes above us
Friends watching from the ground

Parachute Love

Parachute love once was my aberration

and shift into abrogation/ fell for a talebearer which only told lies annoyed my every thought

   “Abrogation Aberration Destination”

still spinning like a Fishing Rod. Fell to deep to soon in this exploration

” Fluctuate in Separate Directions”

My EX-Parachute lover once was my Best Friend and now became my inconstant friend/

Diving Without a Parachute Or Oxygen Tank

Don't place in front of me a mirror; within three short moments
smashed to pieces by the reflections
Please, do me the favor of not talking at me
if the terror of perfection is of value
Why, why can't I for a brief, short second
dive without a parachute or an oxygen tank into the
twenty leagues and fathoms inside myself
No one, no one inform me, inform me that I'm the different someone
I'd tear out my own eyes if I had the means to, I'm already blind
all the elements hinder; none whisper except the howling wind
Could be another depression that's caught me in its glove
bringing me down from this form of paradise into a volcano heart
Sleeping awake; if that counts as daydreaming
then criticize since my eyes have been closed more than open
Metamorphosis ~ another definition for physical change
in this case, it's described to relate the state of my apathy
Don't torture me; don't tantalize me
the past I'm nostalgic for but don't want to relive
Waiting for my life to begin ~ the training days I'm stuck in
leave me out, take me out
Reality crushes me everytime we meet
but compared to the bruises and wounds I've taken
from the world of my far-fetch beliefs
What else could tear me down
there's nothing left

Parachute Jump

Will you still love me when I am away,
away in some distant land of war and peace.
Will you forget about me when I fly away?
Will I parachute jump back to find an empty home,
where all our promises of love have been broken
like the shattered glass on the floor I found on my return?
Was your love conditional upon my physical presence
and not on my heart's omnipresent love?
I loved you and now you are gone.
I came back as I said,
but you did not stay.

Premium Member Paratrooper Stu

Plunged to terrain plagued, tasty female options
Surge of adrenalin pulses choices unsuitable
Piquant aroma pulls him closer, allure accosting
Sentient favours solacious flower so beautiful

Hurtled descent drops watchful onto hillock haze
Swayed seed laden willow heads have halos
Hedonistic impulse picks silken stems with craze
Seraphim surround a torn aura in dewy daos

Preordained mistake palates spasmed heartbeat
Shrews drawn to Stu allude to transformation
Prurient dripping pores warble wanton indiscreet
Strident serpentines permit desire incubation

Heathen has escape, wrapped parachute harness
Preparing his tortured innards for due launch
Hazards bring unbridled enthusiasm for newness
Pride hides a tarnished ego, attempts reforge

When darkness styled me for a while
He deftly like a surgeon broke the spell
Begin we dropping dangled from a chute
From above we land one step from hell

Remember … You jumped and pulled the ripcord to start the journey

The Parachute Drop

Swaying
undulating
like bouquets from heaven
so gently descending
in white waves
the flowers of youth came down.

They kissed the tall trees
and church spires
as they made for the village green
and the roads
and back gardens seen
on the way
to the aerodrome

It was blue sky above us
white clouds with no motion
Sunday bells ringing
as we watched from the windows.
Peace all around
soon to be shattered

As the parachutes landed
we saw soldier men
and guns to the fore.
They missed Biggin Hill
but we caught them
on a quiet Sunday morning
when a vision of flowers his death at our door.
