Premium Member As Daylight Turns To Dusk
As afternoon fades
and the shadows grow longer
daylight turns to dusk

As daytime slowly comes to end,
and twilight spreads across the sky;
the stars in heavens thus ascend.
As daytime slowly comes to end,
the birds in trees the night to spend,
for in the darkness do not fly;
as daytime slowly comes to end,
and twilight spreads across...

Premium Member End Times
As the gold leaves on the ginkgo fall,
Upon the cold autumn earth.
I think how the winter winds
Sound, as they whip as if in mirth.

Winter is upon us, cold lies ahead.
Can we bear the storms of aging?
I can't help but those dread.
Sometimes I feel like raging.

Dear Lord Jesus, give me strength,
To face and handle each day...

Premium Member The Green-Eyed Woman
In winter’s grasp, an aging woman stands
Emerald eyes like jewels gleam
Slightly touched by the passing of time
But a lifetime etched 'pon her wrinkled hands.

Her pressured youth has long passed
Yet grace and compassion are retained
Wisdom gained through joys and tears
Reflected in those eyes pine-green untamed

Shamrock eyes, deep stories they...

Premium Member As Summer Fades To Fall
the days get shorter
as summer gives way to fall
change is in the air

As leaves descend from limbs above
of crimson red and amber gold,
they blanket ground with nature’s love.
As leaves descend from limbs above,
through crisp air wings a mourning dove,
and makes her way through fall’s unfold
as leaves descend from limbs above
of crimson red and amber gold.

a celestial dancer,
through the veil of existence,
paints the cosmos with hues unseen
illuminating constellations
auroras bow,
the moon dances to dawn’s blush,
twilight casting shadows upon the land

Enchantress watch,
the universe bends to your will....

i saw a clock one
time lost in time when

Drop Your Music Into My Soul
Step into my silence, hear my tune
drop your music into my soul
carry parts of me not my whole
absorbed Self would fail to your core attune.

To your magic spell I’m not immune
as with your songs I long to stroll
Step into my silence, hear my tune
drop your music into my soul.
