Premium Member Gotta Take Care of Me

These days my home is a disaster where no neatness is
mastered. For years I did the spic and span scene for a
spouse who notices only the TV screen and our part alien,
completely annoying teens. I eventually deciphered my
efforts made none of them nicer or wiser.

I realized that to remain a cleanliness and organizer striver
would sooner than later require I take a daily tranquilizer.
In time, I learned my bed was a welcoming desire and the
art of long naps was my perfect mood equalizer. So, why
brood over other family member’s feelings when my own
felt much nicer.

There was a time when dust bunnies reduced me to shame
but, now they’re just fluffy cuties that I individually name.
Whereas I once frequently behaved like a total grump
because all treated our dining table like the local dump,
I now idly ponder when the pile will style a solid ceiling
thump.

Home-nest chores with potential upset tests no longer
interest my new style, but soaking in the tub attracts
my delight worthwhile. My bathroom has become my
private, pampering isle. Magazines to thoroughly savor
tempt me in a dream-flavored pile. Within that little
room I’m managing a pampering cocoon.

Once upon my stress time, I would be cryin’ over clothes
not ironed and family tried neither soothing or inspiring
me. These days my ironing policy is that such is pure folly
and that only washing machine clean attire need be desired.
I no longer grow vacuum sore ‘cause rooms are too trashed
for dirt to hit floors.

I am learning to keep my child-like, spontaneous smile
despite any and all house or family trials. If in this lesson
I succeed, that’s all I really, truly and mostly need. I wish
to live and love centered in a state of relaxed ‘cause that’s
where my spic and span are truly at.

Premium Member The Beauty Pageant

Dragon saw an advertisement for a Beauty Pageant, He wanted in! No less!
It stated it was for the 1 to 5’s, so Dragon figured he fit right in. You guess?
When we got there: We were shocked! No Mom would let us in, at the door.
They were probably, just jealous, as they knew, they couldn’t win! Oh, boy!

After all, his makeup & blinged out bib overalls, were impressive, my friend!
But, we always get lots of paparazzi, and the organizer wanted some of them.
He allowed us in, anyway, Moms yea or Nay, or that’s what to us, he did say.
Now the ‘5 O’Clock News’ would present it, That was a 1st for them. A fact!

The little girls were loaded to bear: with make up, talent, and tons of *****.
But man their attitudes were awful… All about them! Who would a thunk?
Amazingly, that made Dragon, seem to fit right in! He had a Good chance!
Ever wonder, how they teach widdle babies the violin, how to sing, or dance?

Well, didn’t matter, for Dragon knows fire, so he put on a little Fire Dance.
Setting the stage afire, he stomped around putting it out. Well, it did look, HOT!
No one tripped him, any more, after the first one’s eyebrows, were singed off.
Finally, all got the same crowns, as the organizer: feared the mom’s, for sure!

Of course, Dragon got ‘Best of Show’, so the paparazzi wouldn’t decide to go.
This was quite an experience; I don’t want to repeat ever, or again, real soon.
Moms’ and kids were way too mean, when the cameras were off, I impugn!
But Dragon seemed oblivious to that… as he took his extra and final 3rd bow.

His mind was totally, in dreamland, for a week, or two, or Yeah, forever more.
Me, I came away with a better understanding, of the art of being, a stage Mom.
I suspect that Dragon had only wanted the bling of a crown, from the very start.
The Trophy became mine for the mantle, to display, after Dragon blinged it out!

So if chasing fame, just be careful, what you wish for… Dragon may be about!

Margarita With Her Animus

Our friend Margarita is a little different
She would often dream of a bearded face
What she says is gray but significant
In her very own version below I place

The contour in my dream is very familiar
But still I cannot recognize
In me he is the organizer
I love and admire his inspiring eyes

Often in my much loved dream
I see him as a Krishna
In his smile an irresistible gleam
Under the tree of banana

When I am in consonance
I feel a cerebral fiesta
But if I am in dissonance
Tempestuous is my vista

These dreams of flute and might
Reinforce my hemoglobin
Leading me from darkness to light
Making my psyche play a violin

Krishna in Radha a perfect blend
A stable amygdala to guide
Overflowing poetry at the bend
When you are by my side

Who Is the Leader

Hate to bring it up again
(actually, no I don't)
Someone at the top's in charge
he just can't lead (or won't)

Guess it's time to ring the bell
he's going to toot his horn
Thinking back as organizer
he'll pat his back till morn

Half the country (give or take)
are saying prayers for him
Some he won't appreciate
their faith is growing thin

Doesn't mention fallen heros
veterans and cops too
Worries, hopes their cameras worked
encouraging familys sue

Never mind thugs were involved
they twist it, things look bad
Just like Eric Holder did
it's really very sad

In just less than a year from now
and that really isn't long
He'll be replaced by left or right
we hope they "right the wrong"

I wouldn't bet the store on it
they've none lived up to oath
Main concern is wealth increase
and yes, it is for both.....

Premium Member Want To Make You Laugh God

I want to make you laugh God
Have you ever laughed so hard that your belly hurts?
I want you to enjoy my poems because you deserve it God
God you know we earthlings always think we know what we are talking about
But a lot of times we have no inklings of what we debate about
We have a tiny idea of what we believe in
And we try to prove our point
But God, we only have just a little enlightenment
But we grab a hold of it and try to make it into a grand theory
God what about the time when we are so sure of what we are doing
That we begin to think that we are in control
Then boom - something goes amiss
And we call out to you “ help us”
And You come to our aid
So who is in control?
You
God , how about our belief in ourselves that we think we are so sufficient
That we think we can do all things
Make all things
Think of all things
-The grandeur of it all
We think we can make it all happen
In our systematic ways
We plan, organize, sketch out
Everything going down to the minute details
We have it going
But we forget that you are in charge of it
And we take the credit that you deserve
Like when we say we love you
But we don’t spend time with you
Or think about you
Or talk to you
Or show you
How many times God?
How many times we said that we will do that for you
But we put it off
We don’t have all the answers but we think we do
We don’t have any possessions but we think we have
We don’t know that
-the only possessions we have are stored up in heaven
We can accumulate them here on earth
To be stored by you
And You will show us how to get it
Do it, actualize it
You are the perfector
You will complete what you started in all of us
Organizer, Redeemer, Achiever
Accomplisher, Planner, Executor
You are all in all in us
Faithless, faithful, undecided
You are the Creator of us all
And you are forever faithful
Forever exalted and glorified
Forever Our All-Mighty, Absolute Being
Our Jehovah, Infinite Spirit, All-Knowing
Forever our Greatest King
Magnifier, Justifier, Amplifier
You are all
Oh, our Good Shepherd
We lift up your name
God you are
All
And here we thought we are all
That is my contribution for today
Hope you enjoy it
Will make you laugh more tomorrow
Love, your reserveless admirer
Insistent analyzer
Persistent assister, attainer, attempter
Forever love
-Yours

Premium Member Miracle On 131st

remember those days we sat
over looking railroad tracks
picking up rusty metal E's
while collecting long cattails
to burn keeping the mosquitos
at bay while my eyes were
dazzled by lightening bugs
we'd catch placing them
in mason jars sometimes
my cousin would put them
on my ears for glamorous jewels
i fancied that as we sat reciting
hymms humming throughout
langley street leading straight to
our lady of the gardens entrance way
funny how long four o'clock took
opening her flowers right at mass
the gentle way you tended
to my scars on my knees
after a long run of hill deal
at george washington carver school
retrieving golf balls just to tee off
before big momma called us
for dinner i was so young then
our time will never end you were all that i had
much more than that you were my dad

Premium Member Living Ex-Presidents 2

Traditionally for years, with honor, a library is built and named after them. More than just a personal story, but there 's a bigger story of America and how they helped to steer it, not as dictators, but as primary citizens and participators. With zeal and pride, they speak of and write about the America they led and helped to make, to shape, to rearrange or to change; or even allow it to remain the same.

Mr. Clinton(1992-2000) And now, a brief condensed summary of his 8 year Presidency: Fix the Balkans and Ethnic Cleansing; It's The Economy Stupid, Change the Economy; Compromise; Communicate; Newt Gingrich and the Contract With America; Balance the budget and Pay the debts with the surpluses; Osama bin Laden
***************************************************************
In my life time, I have witnessed the unfolding realization of those famous lines in the Declaration of Independence, referring to the right of the people to alter or to abolish their government and institute new ones. It seems that some presidents have truly been a catalyst for change. Some good; some bad.
***************************************************************Mr. Bush 2(2000-2008) And now, a brief condensed summary of his 8 year Presidency: Gentler and Kinder; Changer of the mentality about war; Friends, old and new ones. Who and where are they? My friend the enemy; Veto Hater; 911; Axis of Evil; Afghan Demand: Osama or the bomb; Iraq: Regime Change or War Pain; My Father drove you back and out of Kuwait; but I drove you out and brought you to justice. Born to be leaders and not followers, some Presidents bravely and gracefully led our country to new and better chapters. And yet, there were others who were weak as Presidents and better suited to remain as law makers or missionaries.
***************************************************************Mr. Obama(2008-2016) And now, a brief condensed version of his 8 year presidency: Win and spend; One thousand billion=One trillion; That's Trillion with a 'T'; Changer of the culture; Challenger of The Christian; We apologize; Rethink and Revise history; Change the meaning of marriage; Insure everybody; Organizer; Presidential Orders; and Open Boarders. 09222017 PS

Premium Member Kickball Game Round Up

The schools are all in a kickball game competition.
I thought we would be the first school to sign up.
We are the first at everything else, and I love kickball.
If I had not torn my meniscus and ACL and bruised my bone on the same day,
I would have been the first person to sign the non-liability waiver.
I sent an email explaining myself, to the organizer,
Feeling badly that I am not signing up.
Gosh, I used to love kickball. It was probably my favorite sport.
Fifty years ago.
They are having a hard time,
And I am tempted.
But my fear holds me back.

Sister In Spirit

She is not my biological sister
I've known her many years during summer
Hired us in different schools as a teacher
That’s the beginning of our endless laughter

First impressions of her is bad
I thought she is a snub and make me sad
But later on I found out she’s very nice
A good friend who always gives me advice

I've learned a lot of good things from her
Be a giver, an organizer, and an adviser
Problems in life is easy if you are a fighter
All the things we shared I will keep it forever

Things changed and we faced our own fate
Separated by high seas for family’s sake
But the friendship will always be in our heart
My sister in spirit till death do us part

Premium Member Let the Animal Band Commence

Animal kingdom was invited to join the forest meadow
Band orchestrated by the deniable dictator, diabolical gorilla king
Causing loads of premature bragging from delighted grand-animals.
Deliriously enthusiastic orangutans began to show off their voice prowess.
Excited flocks, herds, and murders flooded to the pre-set sign up spot.
Furiously signing up offspring, and occasionally a non-mothered village orphan.
Giraffe’s heads appeared beside the treetops, sticking out willy-nilly.
Haphazardly, eagles, owls, and songbirds sat among the leafy, sparkly greening branches.
I was smoothly hidden high in the Sycamore tree with a few cardinals.
Jealous zebras began stomping and spitting, thinking they were not going to get their “due”.
Kind mother opossum tried in vain to do a little conflict mediation, wanting unity and peace.
Lackadaisical sloth took a seat in the branch ten feet above my head, making my branch shake.
Maestro Moran, the appointed organizer, a giant Mammoth gave out assigned places.
Newly arriving animals began choosing partners; not realizing band is solitary.
Old Timer Orangutans began donating band equipment they no longer used, mikes too.
Puma is not invited Brother Bear yelled, stating that Puma always caused trouble in night class
Quintessential beaver suggested we give baby Puma a chance and a few agreed.
Raccoons who disagreed began slapping each other upside the head, like the three stooges.
Sh! A few animal mothers began to hiss. Few of us heard them, as they were not loud enough.
Too many were speaking to hear, and animal chaos seemed to be the order of the day.
Unification nowhere in sight, I stayed put, hoping I was fully hidden. The Zebras were still grumbling.
Very intelligent leaders assess things quickly, and Maestro Mammoth was no dummy.
“Walrus, wolf, toad, and beaver will pick out instruments for students first through 6th,” he announced.
“Xylophones for all of the kindergarten students.” Cheers went all around the forest meadow.
Yippee for the music teacher! Someone yelled. I am not sure if it was a wolf or an orangutan.
“Zebra’s choice!” Maestro announced. Band practice had begun!

Destination

Destination

Who they say life is immortal
Could they give a sign of previous?
Or they cry following others!
Without knowing hints of mysterious!

A little agree shaking heads
Thinking not to face difficulties
Why bear a headache with others?
In vain discussing rounding tongues

If there is confine some do know
Definite fate of others destined by nature
Could they show some concrete value
To believe by everyone shopping either

Destination is a trend a fixation by human
As they run in invitation by organizer
With briefcase shaking hand in haste
Completely matter of future and for others

The conclusion from the spent hours
A possible game for others for future
Believe it or not, if you follow it and think over
Can be a great deal in seeable future.

The Year of Audrey

this is the year of Audrey
my big sister for whom my love transcends
our mother called us "her diamonds"
for we were her most precious gems

married for 35 years to Bill
her "Captain" and forever groom
a women of style and class
an organizer who behind the scenes
who can make any occasion bloom

an amazing mother to Tiara "little momma"
and Taylor who they call "little poppa" too
a devoted pet owner to her doggy baby Todah
who is so spoiled & oh so cute

she retired from corporate America
but went on to continue her education
and in 2021 got a Master's degree
in Business Administration

now ready to start her next career
in the field of real estate
I know she will take charge of it
and be successful and truly great

she's always been active and athletic
since the day she was born
and at the age of sixty
decided to run the New York City marathon

a member & servant leader
at Cathedral International in Perth Amboy
her & the "Captain" head the Marriage Ministry
with much love, devotion and joy

red is her color and her favorite Scripture
is Philippians 4:13
for she believes she can do all things
thru Christ who will give her that ways & the means

And as we celebrate the year of Audrey
I just want her to truly comprehend
she's been my ride or die, my big sister
but more importantly my best friend

Premium Member Missing Socks Formed a Gang

Sixteen missing socks were two-stepping it good in summer’s twilight.
Their mates had gone home without them but what was their plight?
Were they mated with another or thrown out with torn paper white?
Sixteen missing socks decided to form their own little gang one night.

I know this may seem mean, and it is not really kind or right.
But I am tired of looking for my partner to find me with any kind of fight.
Being lost in the bowels of the laundry mat gives me a terrible fright.
I wish I could be found said the organizer, an argyle named Mr. Slight.

Posh Poetry

Posh Poetry
How was I to know, the invitation to a poetry reading was a posh affair?
Thought it was the usual thing with sausage rolls and warm red wine.
Felt as the poor relation to the royalty of poetry, sensed I was ignored,
no one looks at any one who has made a tailoring error. I had a couple
of poems on a folded sheet in my beloved jean´s jacket, just in case I was
asked to read a poem or so – pure vanity-. Had two glasses of wine before
the séance started but only two, three my inferior complex awakens and
I tell people to piss off. Just before the show ended and an actor had read
poetry of a famous dead poet, I was asked to read… I did, but was met
with griping voices. The poem was about rich, pretentious bastards who
thought poetry was a parlour game, the organizer cut me short. Later in
the bar, the actor thanked me for my reading thought it daring telling my
truth about this kind of recital. More drinks, later that evening I had to find
a taxi for the actor and I had to go back to find the posh accent he had lost
in the bar. He was as working lass as I, but had gone to acting school and
had the face of a lord, or the way we think a lord should look like.
The poor actor was never invited back, he swore in the bar, nor was I for
that matter, but we can live with that.
