Sister In Spirit

She is not my biological sister I've known her many years during summer Hired us in different schools as a teacher That’s the beginning of our endless laughter First impressions of her is bad I thought she is a snub and make me sad But later on I found out she’s very nice A good friend who always gives me advice I've learned a lot of good things from her Be a giver, an organizer, and an adviser Problems in life is easy if you are a fighter All the things we shared I will keep it forever Things changed and we faced our own fate Separated by high seas for family’s sake But the friendship will always be in our heart My sister in spirit till death do us part dedicated this poem to my dear sister in spirit (Pamela) October 16, 2012
