When a Woman Is Just a Woman

When a woman is just a woman
........... her true self she shows

When she is honest with herself
............her confidence glows

When she reacts with expression
.........with all emotions combined

When you never have to question
.........repeatedly speaks her mind

When she gives her attention
...........shows tender loving care

When she shows her inner child
..........does everything with flair

When she voices her opinion
......... omits when incorrect

When she exposes her heart
..........treats all with respect

When she gives you her all
.........asks little in return

When her eyes are open wide
.........always ready to learn

When she has nothing to hide
......... her heart on her sleeve

When a woman is just a woman
...........her soul you will perceive

Punctuated In Time

Cant lift my eyes beyond half past seven anymore
Nay! I do not wish to see...
Past hyphens and inverted commas
Lies and more catastrophe

Ambidextrous clock with appalling brevity
The second hand throws away society
Caught on the hook of an apostrophe
Hit and run humanity

With what shall I beseech thee?
Amix with soot and grime am I today
I painted me....! I mascara'd me!
Not this... warpaint for smudges
A discard of society

Sunk in dank mediocrity
Left to dream on the periphery
Sacked and sold with all their niceties
And pensioned off into obscurity

Cascading through the fingers of our hands
Groans the running Namib sands
Camel plods along ignoring facts
Dali's clock is molten wax - a mystery

Certain as Terrabyte and Megabitten memory
Omits to call- forgets to visit me

When fate decides to bring you love.. smile..
for fickle fate oft omits the finer things,
bless the ground, stay enamored, yet, awhile.

Love, ah love, it is beauty without guile
and when gifted so your hearts will take to wings.
When fate decides to bring you love.. smile...

There is no emotion more versatile
bringing happiness to squires and King's
bless the ground, stay enamored, yet, awhile.

See the faultless features which beguile
and join your woven fingers with a ring.
When fate decides to bring you love.. smile..

You found a pairing more than mercantile
to such joy may your two hearts ever cling
bless the ground, stay enamored, yet, awhile.

To Bride and Groom a toast to love nubile
and all the bliss that loving lips can bring.
When fate decides to bring you love.. smile..
bless the ground, stay enamored, yet, awhile.

Enhancing the College Application

Enhancing the College Application

By Elton Camp

“I graduated first in my class,” claims Joe Adams, but yet
He doesn’t reveal that they were lined up by the alphabet
Suzy boasts that, “My classmates voted me into Who’s Who,”
But hides that for “Most Likely to Fail,” her class picked two

“On the school newspaper,” Robert says, “I worked very hard,”
But omits that after only one year, for incompetence was barred
Bill Bart boasts, “To spend one summer in Europe I didn’t fail,”
But he doesn’t mention that it was only because he was in jail.

About taking her time to finish school, Mary boastingly dwelled,
But failed to mention that it was because she had been expelled
Buzz says, “In my senior year I demonstrated I had special might,”
But doesn’t explain he proved it by winning a wild campus fight

As class treasurer, much time and attention May states she spent,
But doesn’t feel the need to mention the charge of embezzlement
Dan notes, “To pay for my college expenses much money I made,”
But doesn’t explain that he did it through his bustling drug trade

According to Will, in producing media he soon became an expert
But conceals that his productions were *********** and such dirt
Patricia let it be known that of the senior class she was president,
But doesn’t tell in detention was where most of her time was spent

All of these found that for the battle for college admission to win
Each of their experiences must be given the most positive spin
But whether or not these devious little tricks will work very well
Actually, only time and the desired letter of admission will tell

Abortion

An age of convenience
Brutal and unyielding
Omits true compassion
Relating to human rights
Treating the unborn baby
In a murderous fashion
On the pretence of being "pro-choice,"
Named as such to promote an evil agenda.

Premium Member I'd Find Nirvana

I'd find nirvana, if I could,
on distant coast by lapping bay,
far from all strain of daunting day.

Sustain no drama, as I should,
  an ataraxis of my mind
that is a spot I'd wish to find.

If I ask you to join, you would
  find full placidity flows not
  from finding an idyllic spot.

Unlock this truth that long has stood:
  it's good to know tranquility,
  pursuing kind civility.

Concordant harmony is good;
it's worth our diamonds and bankroll
to own it in our inmost soul.

I'd find nirvana, if I could,
sustain no drama, as I should.
If I ask you to join, you would
unlock this truth that long has stood:
        concordant harmony is good.

Lipogram
A lipogram is a composition from which the writer systematically omits a certain letter or letters of the alphabet (in this case, the letter 'e').

Constanza
Created by Soup's own Connie Marcum Wong, a Constanza consists of 3-line stanzas of 8-syllable lines, where the first lines of each stanza are monorhymed and combined to form the final stanza. The remaining lines of each stanza are rhymed couplets.

Visions of the Fourth Man

Agony has vanquished amist the smoldering abyss of the sirens flame.
Peace rages within my soul as my heart clings to the cataclysm of freedoms
whisper.
The flaws of the fiery furnace were expediently exposed by Elohim's Angel of
ages.
My apparel omits neither fragrance nor ashen residue, as only my shackles were
tempted by the seething sadism of the infernos tantrum.
Shadows of the Christ - Man cometh, to liberate my mortal being from carnal
captivity in an era before He Himself would be adorned with flesh, in order that
He might emancipate my spirit from the furnace of death.
I rejoice with my brothers as we sip sumptuously upon the celestial dew of
salvation, sporadically spun from the tapestry of Elshaddai's sartorial splendor.

A Bowl of Cherries

If life’s a bowl of cherries,
Or you think that saying fits,
You must realize there’s a factor
That the axiom omits.

Which is cherries, though delicious,
Have a stone lodged deep inside,
The existence of which isn’t something
That can be denied.

Therefore, optimists and pessimists
Can share that great big bowl,
As the cherries and the pits together
Work to make it whole.

It’s a fact that life’s not fair, though,
So if Proverbville permits,
I propose instead of cherries,
We say life is just the pits.

Premium Member Blooming Unto Good Works

Without God, my living is truly vain
midst functionality’s unworthy cost
as carnal dominion constantly looms
to focus unto own survival first.

Turning from virtual wormy status
against filthy clay of iniquity
I thank Lord Christ Who wrought in my spirit
His transforming adoration vigor.

Gladly praising Him for salvation grand
my soul worships with bliss, trusting His might
His blood grants pardon from damnation’s wrath
sanctifying toward glorious triumph.

Now praying to Most High upon faith’s prop
prioritizing vibrant talk with Him
I stick in His loving intimacy
bringing tranquility from hardship’s angst.

Aiming to gain lasting victory crown
through walk along holy paths I insist
joyously bound around ministry cord
blooming in compassion for good works*’ fruits.

*Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The Grieving Process

Graves of old, like blistering souls do hesitantly stare
While tears like reflective mirrors crawl down my cheek so fair
Hardly are these bodies buried, but merely gently carried... to Your heart: up there

I ask myself in loneliness, "Can" You relive them again?
The question still addressed, "we" can forever cry, my Friend
For love omits a flame of hope, "let" no one with loss have fear
Only allow You to envelope "them" with streams of your heavenly tear
With Your power let the dead "Rest" and let us live ones too!
Remove the fear and the dread "in" the souls of the living that rue

Tell me, will our hearts find "peace?" ...will the Grieving Process cease?

Balls Plus Bulls Equal Games

balls games and bulls
" oh dear and oh no....the elephants are going to the ball game"......speaking clicking clock cloth tells the time but never yells for yelling is a yearling and yearlings never argue with a pistol pineapple on a journey to a bean bowl with a bag of fruit gums. Game then. G h f a finals. Ding dong beep final score. Booming. Tambourine tannoy system ejecting electric void of voice. And a void is a vision and s vision from a village is locating a very large mongoose which visits a local inn and gets drunk. It is the pretty pastel cows in a line. It is the wildness of a bedroom in a bank. But the belching from a bull omits a terror previously reserved for wrapped up tacos in a desert hole. No more is the money dancing to a fine tune. Adjusting adjudicators accurately announce armies. And admission to a spectacle of a nine mile breakfast plate has gone gone gone in a record sell out that kisses a kind cloud. Club chests chant class. And a classical calm from a spinning vibration from a thin slice of toast. Hahah before the end is a cake in a car. But careless carcass causes cake to explode. No ha to that. Of which way is a water wand? Two times north equals south and south is busy chatting to an east but a west is too busy. In bustier businesses. Bring no baby sea lion to a mountain range. And always walk carefully in a light breeze from a light bulb in a bulletin. Un en dc k lie and a swerve dive makes a mission. For mules. Ten times a chicken divided by a spoon equals? And a laughing anarchical lollipop arrives. Hahahahahahahahha.......and a mysterious marshy rock visiting in a singular dingy. Brexit Sonnet 41 - Austria, Not Australia

Brexit Sonnet No. 41
‘Austria, not Australia!’

I’m Mad to the Max, brimmed full with deep disgust.
So who’s on the bike and who’s in the car with the grunt?
Who’s the guy that is good, is it he that is heavily trussed,
Or shot in the leg, or dragged down the road for a stunt?
This violent dystopian vision we’ve seen acted out,
Let’s not play it for real with choices we now have to make.
No leather clad hero our Minister with Exiting shout,
His workaday car, no vibrating V8 doth shake.
Rockatansky’s our man, whilst beastly beast doth prowl,
This Brexit Road, paved not with gold, but hate.
So maybe Mad Max is not our future foul.
So dear Uncle Max, tell now of future fate?
‘Your Sound of Brexit Music will end just like mine,
In a world maxed on evil, where the sun omits to shine.’

Alone Upon This Halloween Scene(A Fictional Tale)

Stepping out into the Autumn night of Halloween
It is the Witches and the Warlocks turn to dance
Their air of mystery and mystic is all around
The zombies or the Undead cannot speak
but, their presence seems to be abound
Ghouls of the Men
Vampires within the Ladie's evil grin
It is out here on this Night
When old wives tale frighten us with delight
My footsteps carry me beyond the hill
A cemetery there which omits a deathly thrill
We(meaning a friendly spirit beside me)know the Cackle
Inside many tomb, ready to come out like a babe from its mother's womb
The moon is full and the Old Man paints his smile
Trick or treaters are out,,having fun for a little while
Tonight all Halo as strange yellow mist creeps from behind a boulder narrow
Dancing amidst the moaning dead, darkened shadows surround this timid Head
I feel like Ichabod Crane, strolling, with terror, upon the Midnight Domain
Ghosties
Goblins
Maybe the old Headless Horseman
Perhaps, the wretched creature of a certain Frankenstein
Many of these apparitions could be just a figment or Reality having a smile
The Corridor of the dark as I wander through a deserted Schoolyard park
An evil happened there, just a few moons not long ago
Halloween Night..1980 when I was ten
A grade schooler was being hazed upon
He was locked in a decrepit old trunk, tucked, not so sweetly away,in the attic of
this old place..his peers left him for the night

They came back the next morning before the session began
after lifting a set of keys from the sleeping janitor, they went up to the attic to see
The trunk was open,HOW COULD HE HAVE GOTTEN OUT??
tip-toeing near the open trunk and peering down with trepidation..
only to find,a bloody handwritten note, written with EXTREME AGITATION

It said:YOU LOCKED ME AWAY BEFORE YOU DECIDED TO PLAY
BUT..I WILL COME BACK UPON THIS LAND AND MY VENGENCE WILL HAVE
HIS FINAL SAY!!

The school was beset by this horrible deed, and it was closed forevermore
because the children confessed and the Pain would never recede
some say..the spirit of the little lad still haunts the old school
Laughter could be heard if many, who dare, decide to explore it and play it cool

Pardon me,my weary Halloween reader..it is TIME for me to head back before
I become no more,by an ominous Night Creeper(or the Ghost of The Attic Child!!)

Horizontally

The nucleus of a pin cushion is akin to the internal mechanisms of a sausage. A big massive drama but don't tell Dalai Lamar and the turtle doves will sing and swing in the breeze. A damsel in distress is a fruit pie filling times ten. Or perhaps twenty? But never pickle a grape drop from a left handed swing. Butter melt circumference could stand over a crevasse and stand tall in any glowering wind. But a flowery jacket that tangoes with a nice tiara is a gatepost of which there omits a smell of strawberry flow. Flee frames who arrive in hallways. And chatter no more than five minutes with a towel. Heard hedgerows having heated heaters. Implacable inner impala. And a sixty foot dog woofing to a tree. The tree woofs back for woofs are woods and woods are woofing. Great.fantastic. Circular c I a in a cake clapping. And an itemised phone bill is a book beyond a bongo. Bing bong butt. And a moronic mutton motor going broom broom brum. Fishcakes can be dangerous so put hazard lights on. Merely a fable. A saucepan. And a dish. Meeting. Meringues moving. Hahahaha tea towel trowel.
