Below drape of cotton clouds and sunshine,
some red-purple live pendants
embrace the tall breathless wall...

I AM A WATER LILY

When blue skies kiss whisper and ***** ripples quiver...

I drink on sun rays and bathe from falling rain,
I stand there afloat: graceful and reserve.
From pink petals shimmer, I flush also a moonlit snow,
honeyed aroma I puff and puff chasing wind curves
thrilling some senses, awakening some nerves!

Upon gush and waves of bursting rainbow colors,
I lay atop, my rhizomes rise, they waft....
Around my roots are croaking frogs and slimy eels,
they thrive for I supply their daily meals.
Day by day in my life, I live to be pure,

my heart beckons heaven yet my roots down here...
Even if currents trample me and storms blow me,
upon seas and oceans, I trip like a sailing ship
but upon force, upon wonders I shall abide
giving my everything-- my best white shots!

WHEN TEARS TOUCH

The twelfth of November reminds me of the day
when our paths first crossed then came to grow on trail.
Soon... all the days like waves rolled into years
as we reminisce our pasts: joys and tears for fears.

A pad with pen I hold to write what pops by;
Each tint and curve a bell that says, you and I.
The words are mere push and pull medley of thoughts
shaping a circle melody of heart shots.

Learning flower our way as our cultures shared;
gem writings topically crafted are compared.
Feelings flood colours to our world, closer we became--
Creeping longing is "our meeting" as this both our aim

Beep and peek are lace ladders to higher trust grounds,
every tap and trade a thread fortifying our bond.
The lasso tying our heartstrings to etch some rhymes,
vital signs checked normal but awhile raise second hands

Can it be that this a fruit of stardust's grand wand?
Or a rose waiting to bloom and behold upon bosoms?

Now the day has arrived, suitcases packed, I smile
a journey, I have dreamt about, many many miles.
Nervousness cocoons but it's normal to feel this;
for this my long wish as I enter the coming hours.

Distance and differences our silent enemies!
But... It did not stop us from thinking sound strategies.
Interest and love gleams as our loyal company
enabling us to draw verses of harmony.

Broken bridges we cross by grace of felicity~
yearning to meet eye-to-eye an intensity!
Along the wires we jibe to friendly deal
that as crisp December sings we will make it real.

The cool December made our wanting a tip-top exhilarate..
and from somewhere, a song plays:

"When you feel in your skin in your bones and the hollow
Of your heart, there's no way you can wait till tomorrow.
When there isn't any doubt about it once you come this close
Cos you know and you know that you know...."

LIFE IS LIKE A MAYPOLE

Outstretch above are blue skies and golden sunshine
as train of threads is softly thug and braid to a pole.
Behold, this sky high pole of bright crayon colors,
they speak slowly about life in quite a number. . .

Sturdy wooden pole standing high and tall
is like a man endowed with wit and strength
The lengthy colored ribbons children install
are the shifting, rolling faces of life's events

Black as night sometimes dawn in life,
one maybe blue but not long, instead
do stand and chase rainbows on green belt bend.
Being a tickled pink to explore, never strife!

See, how the color red blush as it dance in the wind
so must we as we share love along kinship line
we aren't all born with a green finger
yet, each kindness touch, grin lingers!

Shed that yellow-bellied skin
to mingle without any charign.
Our life is given by God in silver plate.
Hence, let our daily goal be a red-letter day!

If we do, earth and sky may wed of rapport
like the ribbons together pulled and blend
by hands of dancing children that mend...
Raising the Maypole aloft with ribbon pour

so is a lived life despite black and blues decor.
As the threads slide smoothly in span of minutes
we, humans, must climb to reach our full limits.
The intertwining colors that fused, all roar

salad differences of man can be sorted, united to be one.
Screaming colors tickle lowly spirits' to fire
daring man to live before his body will retire. . .
Living life to the fullest before each setting sun!

NYMPHS ON MIDDAY PROTEST

Crystal nymphs frolic at day-spring
Unto puffs, upon hush of blossom breast
sliding and gliding like dangling strings
Chilling the fever of midday protest
soft-sweet rest as all sleeps at their nest

Ah! Harsh cold winter must be tired,
his grip weakening, he breathes his last.

The frowning skies finally crumble fast
revealing downy blue clouds that waltz
The sun blows kisses of shine--- like a rainfall
touching, caressing but melting adagio
the white icy coats among branches...
The blossoms sultry strip to loosen their curves
then upon naked arms of trees curls
the color green trembling with symptoms of spring.

Birds twiddle free to sound like thrums.
Evergreen trees duet as they whistle
to calm tunes of nippy breeze.
All around a choir blushing fountain hues
of brown, red, pink and yellow.
Animals long-hiding from hugs of frost
now stands. They burst with grins and jolts--
like squirrels bouncing up and down.

Butterflies outstretch wings flutter by!
Snow that clogs and plugs finally weeps--
running dry with the heat rising slow on air.
It stirs sweet liquid pearls
to tip-toe on leaves and petal's swells.
Buzzing bees chase fresh floating nectar...
Lured, they dance on merry-go-round
in the warm bosom of smiling sunshine.

Coats and boots all pack and rolled away,
chuckles and giggles tickle the daytime flair
as little children prance to do some plays.

THE NIGHTINGALE LOST HER LAMP

Anita’s eyes were brown.
She was the kindest of angels.
Her speech firm with authority
but reassuring with a glass- like
sensitivity; she seemed to know all.

Prompt as a rooster's first crow,
that's how she is.
She stands like a lioness
ever ready to act, a channel
to prolong the patient's life.

Her heart is a captive cog
of dedicated compassion:
as a wife, as a mother, as a Dean,
Professor, and as a nurse.

She stood always regal in white.
Bearing a sanction of life and death
with each shot made by her gentle hands.
She had Tiger eyes for signs and symptoms;
sponges to absorb order and pressures,
she was simply a lamp for a sick person.

Our batch, she handles with iron fist.
Labeled as "black sheep" – for some of us
are noisy cans but empty inside.
Black sheep but later turned into
the cream of the crop. She stood as
our Samson pillars then despite canyons of
doubts and critiques, our batch defies the odds.

Yet, one day a snapshot happened –

She fainted while teaching.
She was brought to the hospital,
scrutinized and observed like
the frog in my sophomore year.
I was one of the nurses who rendered care.
I watched, how the shining light in her eyes
turned to stormy sadness. I have heard
how her sturdy voice now sounded
a tattered tape only syllables and groans,
no more. Her before supple glowing skin
turned a wrinkled ash — all tautness gone.

Finally, she needs only bags of blood
in two days her life passed my Anita...

THE BUTTERFLY AND ME

Venus butterflies
tiptoe upon roses rise
playful in pirouette,
they tango
with the singing voice
of a clarinet...
Wouldn't this view
capture your eyes?

Swarm of honey fragrance
fans my cheeks and so my hair,
I turn around
and see a butterfly so flair.
I run, run
run to chase such butterfly with care
but pity, I missed
so I just stand and stare...

Kissing now,
the curves and swells
of the hibiscus
is a butterfly
that dance in ballet hush,
tickling the petals,
oh! they bend and blush--
won't these two wonders
make a sublime meniscus?

Tomorrow morning,
Do gaze at a butterfly
say hello or wave a hi
colorful they are
but they only live for awhile
Blessed, we are given years to live by
but as colorful as how butterfly paints the sky

Do we also brush the whole world with a rainbow smile?

Premium Member Chariot of Fire: Co-Written With Oe Guillermo

I stand in silence and behold the sight,
staring in wonder, waiting for thunder.
A chariot of fire travels through the night.

The white-winged horses gallop in full flight
pulling at the reins; flowing are their manes.
I stand in silence and behold the sight.

Where are they going? There’s a shining light
leading all the way, so they will not stray.
A chariot of fire travels through the night

amidst the heaven where in pure delight
resides the Master, the sweetest lover.
I stand in silence and behold the sight.

     Blessings whisked to amble slowly with plight;
heartbeats race to sway, courage on display.
A chariot of fire travels through the night.

Armoured by God’s spirit they ride like knights
fearless from pain; victory, their peak gain.
I stand in silence and behold the sight.
A chariot of fire travels through the night.

Summer sun or winter freeze pulls heartstrings in trapeze. . .
Cotton soft to gnarled callus vows have thread along my way
embroidering ribbon actions to pliant swings of reactions
like a darting fish thrilled to catch a passer-by knees.
Two pairs of eye sew webs to bridge affection display,

pines teeming green crown my arrested heart--
tachycardic I am... each time I hear your sound.
Has breath of love tickled my nerves to interaction?
Like a bee I'm drawn to your sweet ambiance 'round
hoping by miracle it will birth me a fresh start.

Scents that streams from bulbs swirl on wafting wind--
Ah! They all fell to shame for your breath of love tames.
Once a rebel soul that long been thriving for satisfaction
with breath of love that resuscitates, I mend my flame
channeling muse to stroke the peak density of mind.

Slender February breeze taunt my fingers
to type rhymes that shy edge of reason.
Eternally plunge in surrender
I-- filled with breath of love ships my horizons
to script stories in shades that lingers. . .

I AM, "THE POETESS"

The array of pigeons stampede upon soft blue-white bears
camping on the mountaintops. Stretching shadows
across green fields, slowly depart when sun yawns to sleep.

When moon-dust streams bathing the night sky,
horizon gleams brushing--a hidden tryst below.
From biting misery caused by world wars' fangs
to lullaby hums of tweeting birds
and of seagulls' swish and pounds...

Grand or not they are spark spectacles drawing lifeline..

(I am the poetess who loves to write about these)

Through my pen, I echo to the world the rhythmic message of love.
I open the eyes of man to see the beauty among God's creations.

(I am the poetess who is a lover of God and forever
am seeking ways to please Him more than any)

I bring beauty too, that even the blind can see..
Some trembles: songs and speech of angels
that even the deaf can hear.I want to touch the lips
of the dumb that they may psalm the ballads of life.

(I am the poetess who is 29 y/o this year,
a nurse, a singer, a cook in my own right :D!)

I lift the spirit of the crushed then cheer victors in the pedestal.
I invoke joy when there is none. Hence, even tears: a scream of smiles.

(I am the poetess who dares try and reach my limits and beyond,
writing from my heart of hearts and from my thought of thoughts)

I light up a candle in the midst of hopelessness
then usher through morals in verse:the cavalcade of humanity

(I am the poetess who expresses freedom of expression responsibly--
wanting always to inspire, encourage and to remind)

Poetic finesse not always my ground
My name may never be known but each stanza I write
I hope it may wake your somber muse.

(I am the poetess that always consider herself--
beginner in every poem she writes...)

I am the poetess...

WHEN WISDOM WALKS

Lies,
shams,
they cloud
the truth's eyes.
They seed buds of sin
which unfolds to depravity,
as they... can smother hope or stroke all lobes of the mind
but if we let honesty spearheads our deeds then there we permitted wisdom to walk...

Tetelestai - It Is Finished

Tetelestai! For it's already done
Praise and glory be to the Holy One
The enemy's already trampled on
And triumphantly doomed to destruction.

Tetelestai! For it's already done
Praise and glory be to the Holy One
Fully paid are our debts and transgressions
To us is complete justification.

Tetelestai! For it's already done
Praise and glory be to the Holy One
Our wounds are already healed by the Son
And in His name, our sicknesses are gone.

Tetelestai! For it's already done
Praise and glory be to the Holy Oe
All our chains He has broken and brought down
And our bondages He has made undone.

Tetelestai! For it's already done
Praise and glory be to the Holy One
For eternity in heaven's been won
And granted for us is the salvation!
