Chicken Nuggets

Chicken nuggets
They fill me up
They give me life
They're a necessity
My love for thy chicken nuggets,
Compares to no other
Chicken nuggets

Rug Nuggets

I spent all of yesterday
and most of the day before
picking up those rug nuggets
where they hadn’t been before.

I found one by the back door
and another by the chair
I saw some in the corner
and I see some over there.

I bend down to pick them up
until I’m nearly drained.
I surely will be happy
when this puppy’s potty trained!

Nuggets

Have more than you show,
humility is not humiliation...
Speak less than you know,
simplicity is not suppression.

Pray more and panic less,
Supplication brings stability...
Worship more and worry less,
Adoration banishes adversity...

Faint not in flood or flame,
The Father is our firm fortress...
Bow not to bruises or blame,
Sail through storms and stress...

Nuggets of Poverty

A little can salvage for the
night,although tomorrow
is unknown,like a blank
page,awaiting to be
written again,the past as
memory,the present as a
storm in the dark, so
awaiting for the future to
unfold,and the pain to go
away as it comes.

Nifty Nuggets Part Two

Do not lose your innocence
in your quest for independence.
In life matters, sit not on the fence
to avoid a fatal consequence...
To have a meaningless presence
is to make a meaningful absence.
It takes more than intelligence
to have positive influence.
It is easy to conceal an evidence
but hard to kill a guilty conscience.
It takes character and competence
to have complete confidence.
Self development and diligence
bring expertise and excellence.
Overlooking moral decadence
gives birth to timely turbulence.
The divine sacrifice for offense
is sincere and pure penitence.
When our virtue loses its cadence,
our core creed loses its credence.
When good souls swim in silence,
gruesome men preen in violence.

Nuggets
Miracle Man

Occasionally, with nuggets of wisdom, I’m blessed,
but often they vaporize while I’m getting dressed.

From stressful situations I must quickly disengage,
only then will these nuggets flow from pen to page.

The nuggets are God sent having a brief lifespan,
so they must find my paper as fast as they can.

They’re not mine to hold but were given to share,
and are oft meant for one, of whom I’m not aware.

When I was young,                                                                                     older friends-family gave advice with their tongue.                                                             They gave me golden nuggets of advice,                                                  too young to use but I thought about them twice.
Now older and I hope wiser,                                                          each senior was my great adviser. With each ten years things get harder Ann,
do all you can now while you can.                                          The golden years are golden,                                            with health-money don't be beholden.                                     Save for a rainy day,                                                           they are sure to come your way.                                            Get rid of excess things,                                                            they will be given away with your rings.                                     Give to those you love now,                                                       or it will become a fight oh wow.                                                    The golden nuggets of advice,                                                    were so sad and cold like ice.                                                I have seen many a tear,
I will not live in fear.

Nuggets, Pearls and Treasures

Why are our Bible verses called
Nuggets
Pearls, Gems
And Treasures?
Because we have to dig them up
To try
To fill
Our Coffers,
So many Gems are in the Word
For us
To live
Much better,
If we study to show ourselves
Approved
Unto
Our Master.
So dig for treasures every day
And feed
Upon
The Scriptures,
We'll all be richer, come what may
Our lives
Will be
A Pleasure.

Nuggets 1

Accept the apology they did not tender.
Accept the appreciation they did not show.
Your heart is not for others to plunder;
do all you can to make it grow and glow.

Fluff

As elegant canopies of cute flowers
Begin to pale into less natural hues,
Eyes wildly wander for better sights
Under the old heavens' banal blues.

As the sun's rigor sinks in the west,
Score for dimmer stars hits its best;
Dull Moon is at last by men adored,
With none by his lower shine bored.

For want of simpler paths more used
To the common limb’s ordinary tread,
Most wayfarers do quite often blunder:
In easier roads lie worse pitfalls fused!

Thump not your vainglorious chest
If bereft souls swelling praises give;
For the sun’s regal orb might in zest
Pop and say lesser kings shan’t live!

Blowers of vain own-blasted trumpets,
Will halt to hear more tuneful nuggets!

Choices For Dipsters

forgot to ask for honey
what's a chicken nugget to do?
maybe marshmallow creme
A-1 or ranch dressing
caramel or chocolate drizzle
leftover guacamole
cheese queso beats plain ketchup
just off the top of my head
on the tip of my tongue

Gotta Pac Man Some Money Nuggets

Gotta Pac man
These money nuggets
I've got a crystal plan
This aint no desperado or scam
Thinking bout freedom in a bucket
I've got a crystal plan
Gonna trek the globe
Setting minds on fire
Independent desire
Energy recreating
Gonna meet my team and start building

But first
Gotta chomp these money tickets
Accumulate hit points
So I can take some licks
And keep ponied up to the hitch

GOLDEN NUGGETS

books shout from their shelves
pleading...won’t you choose me please
...let me join your team

some wait patiently
coughing antiquity’s dust
white hair...piercing eyes

popularity
like unbroken chain letter
...too many partners

the rare find hidden
simple..shy..golden nuggets
— knuckles rest on chin

my shovel moves dirt...
i dig the dinosaur bones
...glancing side to side

curiosity
wonders why no one else cares
…i lick my fingers

All that glitters is not gold,
     Friendships are my nuggets,
     As I grow old.

     Some are shiny and new,
Some require rubbing to remove the tarnish,
Some come out when no one is about.

     All have value,
     In my mind.
Each have traits I find sublime.

     Every one of my friends,
     Has a diamond shine!

Premium Member Little Nuggets of Time Lead To Big Results

I set out to accomplish just one little thing per day
I thought I was going crazy
At the end of each day
I would wonder how I could have possibly
Not accomplished the one little thing I had set out to do.

Day after day I still had not managed to pick up a brush and paint.
What had I done all day?

I was going to figure this out
So I logged what I did and
Listed what I wanted to do
And let me tell you those lists were lobsided

I eventually realized that
I was waiting for the big block of time
And it never came

If I wanted to paint
I’d have to set up a corner
And pick up the brush and do it
Even if it was just for a few minutes at a time

So I consciously set out to
Convince myself that:
Little nuggets of time lead to BIG RESULTS
I repeated it as a mantra

I’m not saying that I’m cured
But at least…
I don’t think I’m crazy anymore
