Little Nuggets of Time Lead To Big Results

Listen to poem:
I set out to accomplish just one little thing per day I thought I was going crazy At the end of each day I would wonder how I could have possibly Not accomplished the one little thing I had set out to do. Day after day I still had not managed to pick up a brush and paint. What had I done all day? I was going to figure this out So I logged what I did and Listed what I wanted to do And let me tell you those lists were lobsided I eventually realized that I was waiting for the big block of time And it never came If I wanted to paint I’d have to set up a corner And pick up the brush and do it Even if it was just for a few minutes at a time So I consciously set out to Convince myself that: Little nuggets of time lead to BIG RESULTS I repeated it as a mantra I’m not saying that I’m cured But at least… I don’t think I’m crazy anymore AP: 3rd place 2022 Posted in March, 2018
