Just One Last Night - The Last Goodbye - A Musical Multi-media duet

Just One Last Night – The Last Goodbye - A Musical Mini-Movie Duet

Sometimes, love lingers long after the last goodbye. We think we’re letting go—but in truth, we’re holding on.
Not just to memories, but to the soul that once stayed beside us.
The Ballad and mini-movie is about love and loss, about the quiet ache that never quite fades.
It asks:
Can love become a tether?
When all it ever wanted was to be free?
“Just One Last Night” explores that space between presence and release—
Where devotion becomes a quiet chain, and one heart’s longing might keep another from crossing into the light.

Note: The poem below qualifies the Lyrics of the Ballad in the movie which are not included here so as not to give away the story.

Tip: best listened to with headphones.

A flame in the dark I lit
blind to the shadow it cast
Love, a thread spun of moonlight,
I thought forever would last

I built a shrine from memories
not caring I’d sealed his soul.
Lingering on ~ his reluctant spirit
Between enduring torn.

The path ahead for me was dim
The fault all mine – he couldn’t soar
Reluctantly, with laboured breath,
I released and let my true love go

I lost his Soul with poignant grace
With soulful sorrow upon my face.

It's something inconclusive
This feeling that I'm not
A perfect human specimen
Lukewarm compared to hot

I scrutinise the mirror
That I carry in my phone
It tells me of belonging
Yet I feel so far from home

I probably need rebuilding
Like a human Lego set
A different type of perfect
Is the answer I detect

A voice within me cries out
Don't change a single part
I love you as imperfect
'Cos you're perfect for my heart

Let's work on your perspective
Stand right here just next to me
Now tell yourself through my eyes
Not more perfect could you be

New Year Media Noche - the Retourne

More than the grand fireworks display,
above chart-topper music blast;
What is the highlight of this night -
The Media Noche, New Year’s toast.

Above chart-topper music blast,
stay still awhile, to breathe our thanks;
A farewell to the year that was
and welcome one - now upon us.

What is the highlight of this night -
Carousing, whole night rejoicing?
Babe year pushing rudely the old,
at street parties ruled by one clan?

The Media Noche, New Year’s toast -
Grounding to roots, a youngster’s boast.
Each morsel chew, each laugh renews,
one's world-weary bones and sinew.

The Media

Reporting the news has changed so much from the past
I cannot even remember when I heard a good news story
It started out years ago slow, but has it ever grown
I wonder how long this type of thing will last?
They say that it sells, blood, guts and all the gory
Is that really the reason, if the truth was really known

Graved diggers they are, they are digging graves deep
Showing "dirty laundry", in hopes that it will never come clean
Reporting the rotten, no more than a scandal sheet
Make an innocent person guilty, so they will never sleep
Twisting word, so they do not sound mean
But like hungry dogs fighting over a piece of meat

Freedom of speech, a right that we should all hold dear
Freedom of the press, to inform the public, not to destroy
Journalism with integrity, the ways that it used to be
To make facts available, not every effort to smear
To read in the morning, sit and enjoy
While we still have this freedom and are still free

A right that should be used, not abused
Or something that government want you to say, because it is politically correct
Something that makes common sense, not cause mass hysteria
So that all can understand, not be confused
One day this right could be taken away, we cannot forget
This what I think that we need in our media

A Dark Reflection

A Dark Reflection

We are all hunters masked by Usernames and Handles
We capture the moments that eventually become rambles,
In our history of past and prehistoric posts that puncture
We yearn for likes and loves this desperate hunger,

Snap, Send, Screenshot,
Snap, Screenshot, Send,

We Filter others criticism and replace with illusions
Of the authenticity for that is pure delusion,
We change too much for others and our minds have altered
Our lack of consistency has been far too relevant,

Repost, Retweet, Republish,
Retweet, Republish, Repost,

The fragment of life caught in a picture is like a pet
We use it for laughter and love our needs are completely met,
We conceive Stories made of hopeful bliss
Alone we are sucked of joy like a dementors kiss,

Unfollow, Unfriend, Block,
Unfriend, Unfollow, Block,

We streak the social media universe with Hashtags and Vines
Our time deteriorates forever declined,
Although these platforms offer sorrows that are deadly
They also bring joy in a harmonious medley,

Look, Like, Love,
Like, Love, Look,

It connects through light boxes around the earth
Showing us an unimaginable worth,
It links us through the vast and titanic interwebs
It brings light and sight while dejection ebbs,

Friend, Follow, Forget
Friend, Follow, Forget

We fathom the magnitude of what it means to be a friend
We never meet we never eat we just like to play pretend,
Will it ever end
Missing links and broken ties our normal obstruction
Movie dates and walks in the park will help our construction,
We can build a better Story.

The Changing Face of the Media

Every time I look I see a different face,
As the media gathers pace,
In the influencing race.

No longer in the news business,
No longer bothering to clean up their mess,
No longer checking before going to press,
No longer thinking about mases to impress,

With no more mirrors in the place,
For the past to embrace,
It is now all about the modern face,
And it's influence on the race,
With few caring about the hardship investigative reporters face,
If they have too many facts to put in place.

It is only a matter of time before the media will have to face,
Up with a "we misjudged the mood of the public face",
With little chance of another "thanks for the award face",
With every chance of no "poker face",
As they will need a "change of heart face',
Before the music they have to face,
For undue influence on the outcome of the human race.

Oh how on earth did the media ,
Get such an idea,
That influencers would for them, be there,
When there were so many of us who could see what was living there,
That influencers are masters of what people want to hear,
And are more worried about how they look on air,
And how much money can be made from them being there,
Than how many facts they produce for us to hear.

I wonder how the media will respond to what is here,
How much influence I have to spare,
And how many new faces I will be shown this year.

Donald Trump and the Media

They watch him like a Broad-wing Hawk
In all his comes and goes
He invades their every thought
Bugs them to the bone

He delights in the slip and slide
Like a greased pig in their grasp
Thinking they've got him this time
But they had best not think so fast

They scandalize the scandals
Beat their chests and drums
Walking on a thin line
Hoping to nip him in the bud

He has them on a short leash
They bark at his command
All big dogs is what they think
Tails wagging on the right and left

Every now and then he tosses them
One or two Chicken Little bones
Where they run and scream the sky is falling
It's not like we were not warned

As he sits behind his desk
Plotting his next move
Donald Trump and the Media
....ain't that the truth

Don’t!

Don’t put your thoughts on paper
Don’t dare to think out loud
Don’t express on social media
Don’t put them up in cloud

Don’t criticize the useless
Don’t voice a point of view
Don’t flex your vocal cord
Don’t think you’re immune

Six burly officers are coming
Because of something you said
They crash the door early morning
And they’ll tear you from your bed

They’ll whisk you down the bridewell
Slam you in a six foot by eight
The CID will make you confess
About all the things that you hate

You can shop lift for a past time
Carry a machete along the road
Threaten cut all white throats
And never do as your told

Keep your gob shut firm and tight
Take the pen and put it down
Don’t tweet early morn or late night
Decent is only for a clown.

Social Media - Life of a Teen

Every day I go on Facebook to check on my wall, I just stare and wonder if I even know you people at all.
I go on Twitter to tweet a tweet, then on Instagram to share a random picture of my feet.
I post just about the most ridiculous things, including what I wear and what I eat.
I can't stand my page being blank and white, so I come up with a funny story, whenever I can't think of anything else to write.
If I'm really bored I might check out someone else's page instead, to post a rude comment about something they said.
I don't hang out with a lot of friends, but according to the internet, I have over a hundred and ten!
This is everyone's routine day by day, as we check posts, and secretly call each other names as we pass in the hallway.
We no longer have genuine compassion; instead we get straight to the point, something I like to call bashing.
We think it's normal to yell "Amy's having a baby and Mark is going crazy!"
Texting is another great hobby, I just got a message calling Amy a ****, and Mark's girlfriend a complete nut.
We call this our way to connect, but society is turning into a wreck.
Social media helps us to keep in touch, but I think it's the reason we haven't slept much.

Sometimes I stay on my phone till 4 in the morning, but who needs sleep anyways?
That’s boring!
The internet is such a time consumer.
Its fast pace has even caught up to the late bloomers.
I think I’m going crazy; I can hardly go a day.
I wonder if other people are this way.
It’s such a distraction while I’m supposed to be doing homework.
But keeping up with all these statuses is already enough work.
You can find EVERYONE on Facebook!
From aunts to uncles and about a million girls named Brook.
Some people write about the most interesting things,
Including their relationships which have no strings.
Reminds me of Anita,
So easy to please, seems charming and wise, but easy for all the guys.
Meanwhile, Sammy is bullied until she sits there and cries.
Our eyes are glued to the screens that only causes affliction,
Welcome to social media, the world's latest greatest addiction.

Social Media Addiction

So many beautiful people online, but is social media love real?
Are you in love with the idea or is it genuinely how you feel?
can you have feelings of love for someone you've never met?
or are you just lonely in real life and treasuring any form of contact from people on the Internet?

We all have crushes and I'm not saying you shouldn't shoot your shot
But I've seen some people start to lose the plot
I've seen it happen to guys where they go insane because the girl doesn't reply to their message
There are millions of other girls out there, are you really that desperate?

You may speak daily, but always remember it's someone you haven't met in person
are they being themselves? or a different version?
Do you love the person behind the photograph,or just that one picture?
Are you allowing your world to shrink just for your Internet following to grow bigger?

Personally to me something just doesn't feel right
When people prefer looking good on social media instead of living their real life
they ignore their own friends and start to ignore their own crowd
People in relationships don't communicate anymore because they won't put their phone down

I'd rather have a drink with friends or put on a comedy for us to laugh at
But it's difficult when they won't come off Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat
I guess this is just the world we live in
I don't hate it, I just wish it was a little different

I wish these sites had a time limit for how many hours you can use it a day
For a few hours people should learn to put their phones away
Some will strongly disagree with how I feel
But I'd like to say that Addiction to social media is real

Mass Media

Breaking news are keeping us apart

breaking

Media Power

Media power
Is obvious that we grow
In what we call civilisation
Yet moral value grow less
Is funny how all
 we use to know
is gradually passing us by
With out a notice
It looks like
We sell our common sense
To an illusion
Look around
Oh look again
Do you notice
The fast change?
Is all over places
Is in your flats, mansion, room,
Some got it even in kitchen, toilet
Is all over everywhere

Media power
Technology, TV, radio, computers especially
Controls a lot in our days
Today,
It change a lot mentality
It promote a lot of doom
Nowadays
It affect our children mentality
To most times things we don't
Want them to do as kids
And we sit and claim
We are civilised

Media power
It is a big form of control
It control a lot in our life
It promote a lot of mind control
It send a lot of influence
It so strong that you could imagine
Yet some one control this media
What a funny world

Media power
In africa
Our young ladies go necked
To feel beautiful
Like a trend invoke
All from the power of media
Our young men go high
On drugs and gun is there
Best friends in a form of protection
All from the power of media
Money rules the media
The media rules the people
The people live to work
And Pay the money
What a funny world

Media power
If media is use to promote
More good then is right
Peoples mind can easy be reach too
Fast through media
Media is a good thing
But with the greed of men
Evil now rules with a force
In our media all over places

Premium Member Main-Stream Media Have-A-Heart Trap

Each day foul critters infest our house
Though not by slipping in like a mouse
We just press a button
Or buy a subscription
To get news wrote or spoke by a louse

These creatures of the two legged kind
Try hard each day to persuade our mind
With sly information
That helps the causation
Of the falling apart of mankind

They tout the need for unearned welfare
Claim hard earned profits are so unfair
And granting amnesty
Is a good policy
Plus growing our debt is fine they swear

For those who work hard earning their way
Give what they can and put some away
Are sick of the slackers
Prodded by the backers
Whose aim is using half truths to sway

It’s hard to ignore those talking heads
But it’s not right to tear them to shreds
Yet there’s a solution
And with execution
We can spread liberty in their stead

We’ll put Obama pic’s and golf caps
Along with a taped speech that he yapped
In a human sized crate
Coz it’s time to create
A main stream media Have-A-Heart trap

Like it or not, these traps are humane
But anyways, we’ll have much to gain
So, once we have caught
All those who have brought
Disinformation causing brain drain

We’ll squeeze all of them in through a pipe
Along with politicians who hype
Irrationality
And immorality
Into a sphere of the livable type

In there they can tax to the extreme
And promote their harmful fairness schemes
But when they’re out of dough
They will lip read our NO!
Since their bubble is a sound proof dream!
