..."Majestic Mandamus" ~
It's the evening of the year
The great majestic ball.
I go along trembling with fear
No one will ask me to dance at all.
The lights are blazing above
The musicians strike up their chords
In the eyes of some, shows expectant love,
In others, time they can ill afford.
The dance floor is polished to the hilt
So the dancers can glide with ease.
Some Scottish laddies dressed in highland kilt
Serving wine and nibbles which will please.
I sit amongst the ladies and their idle chatter
The lights catching a glint of tiara-erred heads
Note book clenched between sweating palms
Dance spaces at the ready for any suitor to read
A minuet is played, the ladies hold their partners hands
Just a light touch from glove to glove
The soft music emulates a wonderful sound,
Stirring a thought or two towards love
Back to my chair he gallantly leads me
Bowing slightly as he helped me to sit
Would you do me the honour, he asks,
Let me fill in the vacant spaces in your list.
I sit there dreamily thinking of what this might bring
Is this the man to fulfil my needs.
I then wake up with a start, as the kettle sings,
To face my hungry family which I need to feed.

God's Majestic and Wide
Breathe in an ocean so vast and so grand where seagulls and seashells sprinkle the sand.
So turquoise blue, majestic and wide, homes for God's creatures at high and low tide.
Like the Humpback Whale who sings a beautiful hymn or a baby sea turtle just learning to swim.
Like a stingray, a lobster, a shiny red cod, or friendly grey dolphins who live in a pod.
The Angel Fish, the Violet Snail, a Giant Squid, seaweed, and kale all need the oceans to breathe and survive, all need the oceans to stay alive.
Thank God for the oceans so vast and so grand, where seagulls and seashells sprinkle the sand.
So turquoise blue, majestic and wide, homes for God's creatures at high and low tide.
MAJESTIC BLUE
Mind blues in life makes things blurr
Dark phase comes because it has to go
The sufferer in me wants to mend her patch on her own
To turn as hard as iron ,a strong fighter
These moments come anytime out of the blue
I pray that it does not happen to anyone
Even once in a blue moon.
So dear,my blue patch has gone away
Sorry to keep away from you in this dark blue phase
Waiting for you makes me restless on this coastline
Solitary,,, away from Blue Bridge City humdrum
These blue emergent waves ascend endlessly
To meet the blue sky canopy above me
This ethereal blue canvas consoles my eyes
That wait eagerly for you
Oh dear! release me off the reigns of longing
In a blue gown adorning blue diamond accessory
Holding this blue bouquet of fresh blooming flowers-
Hyacinth,lilac,blue iris,blue orchids,blue bells
My love!my heart pines for thee.

Majesty
is how the river pours
free from gravity the water falls
sitting still
where carved rocks are quiet
listening to the bubbling roars
to be cleansed
by a vaporous mist
that lays upon the soul in silence
wonder stirs
beneath vibrant sky's kiss
where peaceful dreams and I come to merge

They float effortlessly
zigzagging,and fluttering,
so care free.
Watching them enjoying
the savory nectars, that
ripened flowers share and
release.
A pallet of majestic colors
are lavishly worn.
Orange, and blues,
lavender, and yellows
are vividly shown.
So many designs and
colors are painted on their
majestic beautiful
canvassed wings.
Inspiring the great
painters to paint in the
early spring.
They start out as a
larvae, who would have
thought?
They would metamorphise,
into, masterpieces and leave
us completely in awe!

The majestic sky is in plain view
It's lovely yet mysterious
Flowers below dance to the wind's soft beat
As giant oaks sing nearby
nature has a great band
Beautiful eagles glide across the azure sky
like skilled pilots, they were so free
Next I saw a pigeon tango in mid air
so breathtaking for all to see
Grey clouds start to sing
then crystal droplets descend
so hard yet gentle
on earth's abundant soil
that was so very thirsty

dressed in sun-drenched glow
the mountain was breathtaking -
idyllic landscape
the pristine white snow
spectacular scenery -
closer to heaven
morning is frozen
azure blue panorama -
a source of wonder
in shining sunbeams
a swan on a frozen lake -

We monthly meet
To pray and eat
Once children, small
Now several feet
Some rich, some poor
It matters not
Irrelevance of
What we've got
In worldly stuff
Our wealth not mired
My comrade content
Is love inspired
At table share
Our lives in full
Our seasons vibrant
Sometimes just dull
To glasses raise
These humans dear
My heart is full
So glad you're here
As life unfolds
Both up and down
This friendship king
Has earned it's crown
I hold three magic rocks, in my hand
Rolling them over and over and over
Leaving this reality behind, far behind.
Unknown horizons beckon,
Logic defying adventures await.
With one final gaze
Toward my unknown destination,
On a quest to find my father.
Mom said he left before I was born.
He won’t be hard to find,
‘Cause she said I look just like him,
But I hold the key of returning.
The ball of yarn he should have used,
To find his way, back to us...

Elephant is a majestic animal.......
( A poem for children)
They walk like a majestic, behave like gentle animals
Elephants are known as the biggest mammal on earth
Let it be cultural or any other ceremonies
they continue to play their common role in them.
Raise their trunk for trumpet.
Wag their tail and ears to chase flies and squirt water
These gentle giants that tread the earth.
Always like to wallow in the mud and love to
immerse themselves in the water for long hours
They show great affection for one another and
take care of their young ones very dearly
Not only they are sensitive animals by nature
but also have a great memory
Although, they are useful to human in many ways
but also they are killed for their priceless tusks.
They are great animals in the jungle and parade like a majestic.

the magic throne where I stand
shows me a fantastic view
where I am so mesmerized
a nature so bright
on wide plains and mountain sides
are trees raising up their hands
thanking God in abundance
with fruits they all have
clouds on top of those mountains
sun peeks and smiles in its glee
reaching out those gliding birds
with its radiant rays
rice fields with their golden grains
sway like wands in fairy tales
dragonflies and more insects
over the green fields
flowers bloom along the path
caressed by morning dew drops
spread their colorful petals
give smiles with the sun
on nearby are springs and ponds
where lovely swans rest a while
both fish and frogs swim and jump
joy for everyone
