                                 dressed in sun-drenched glow
                                the mountain was breathtaking -
                                           idyllic landscape

                                      the pristine white snow
                                        spectacular scenery -
                                           closer to heaven

Whoa!! Your description makes it sound inviting, but I don't think it would be very comfortable. We did not get snow, and I am thankful that it did not come. I enjoyed reading and seeing the nice picture. Sara K

- I love haiku poems, John ... not difficult, once you learn it... but - many people don't know the difference between Senryu and Haiku :) - hugs
