Best Love Kiss Poems
For Jack and the Blueridge Mountains
Close my eyes ~
I’m on that mountain
lush with Autumn taste.
Close my eyes ~
We are love entwined
in crisp fall leafed lace.
Close my eyes ~
Lips of first perfect kiss,
once more bliss moist my lips
Close my eyes ~
We are young again,
connecting eyes, souls and skin
Close my eyes ~
Sharply, my satin-sad edged truths
wonder if autumn ever takes you … too …
Close your eyes ~
Kiss me with eager touch. As fire’s savior,
thrill to shivers in dew soft, mountain air.
Caress-wrapped, we lay in misty vapor
from dusk’s bursting promise of brazen flush
until dawn’s fresh sonnet on takings rush.
Close your eyes ~
Grasp our hearts of innocent stares
watching how teenage summer dies
when feelings are autumn implied
Soft velvet tunes and silk delights
Neath summer moons and starlit nights
Romance perchance when daylight falls
That first sweet kiss as twilight calls
Two lovers on an endless sea
No other place they'd rather be
Enraptured now until the dawn
But still that kiss will linger on
White wails of weeping willows
Winding in the blue breeze
Like lover hoping for heart’s hero
A lifeguard for the passionate sea
Failed relationships create creatures
Some salty some sour some sweet
You are the red rose with features
A thorny tongue meant to deceive
To appear hazel harder and tougher
Than is your true tender blue heart
Overcompensating for past lover
Satin smile hides your cherry scars
What tells you’re still a red romantic
Is the light behind your emerald eyes
The quiet way you purple panic
When bluff is called by the perfect guy
Fairytales may be only in books
And life isn’t always so grand
You are read in one look
By a man who understands
Thorny tongue’s kiss is sweet
Despite its first green reveal
Sour and mysteriously tricky
Until you found love the real deal
Plant me like a red rose in your heart
Keep me alive there never loose spark
When you speak may words deliver me
In love to trust what you are saying
Kiss my spirit with your thoughts
Transcending touch to bring lavender love
Fill me like an exotic tea kettle
And drink me in your thirst forever
Smile with your eyes when you hear my name
Find a grin in mine at the thought of you
Dance with me despite my two left fuchsia feet
When I am gone make love to my memory
I love how we are so close
That even in dark I know
Just who you are inside and out
You are my soulmate find in me your house.
The first time she kissed me was the day I realized that I was in love
When her lips met mine, my heart exploded so did my mind
It was as if the heavens and the Earth have combined,
There were many people and many sounds but I could only hear one
The voice of her heart, with every beat taking my name and only mine
Her arms were giving me an embrace and there I noticed the beauty of her face
Her lips red as a sunset, her face white as a dove, that was the day I fell in love

Eye to eye
in a stony embrace,
two rockfish kissing,
face to face.
.
The One
Lilies were lifting
white faces up to the sun.
I gazed up at him
as he leaned down to kiss me. . .
He - a white knight - was the one.
White - A Love Story
White was the blanket on which we lay
under the clouds of that warm April day.
White were the lilies perfuming the air.
How happy was I - my white knight was there.
Summer arrived; on sand gleaming white
we lay in the sun and kissed until night.
White was the gold of the ring that I wore
and bright like the love of the one I adored.
White was the dress I carefully chose
for our special day, and white was the rose
he placed on our bed, its sheets - white as milk -
were smooth like his skin and woven in silk.
White was the snow our first Christmas day
before all the whiteness got swept away!
In the dark casket, his face seemed so pale
as I bent to kiss my true love farewell.
At My White Knight’s Grave
into stone cold ground
his black casket was lowered. . .
snow fell all around

Rubbing it's eyes, the year wakes in yawn.
Hibernating winter shade.....at last it's gone.
'Hello, my dear Spring', "Good Morning".. c'mon.
Advent of the vignette....embraces the dawn.
Look!..A child has just learned to walk..
His fortune.... new life....is excited to knock.
March and April date...dance and roll and rock.
Woodpeckers make home.....patient round the clock.
Clothes of Primrose, Lilies .....Daffodils and Tulips.
Petals unfold blushing buds....hiding in eclipse.
Burgeoning vibes of love.... nature in partnerships..
Orange Yellow Honey.....in Green and Purple drips.
In vernal color of wild music, ....nature is a gypsy.
The hymns of hummingbirds.... cuckoo chirps.... crispy.
Cadence of bass and treble ....the breeze ..soft and tipsy.
Oh Sensuous Spring ! ......"I Love Thee"...
Won't you now kiss me?

Edge
The Edge,
or rather the Edgewood...
is a place, not a thing.
It is near the bridge,
but not quite under it.
It is quiet,
and full of only the "sounds",
that rarely choose to exist.
Bring a tablet,
a pen,
a paper,
a pencil...
colored markers,
an eraser... too, if you dare.
But be ready to take things down,
as they pass by,
captured only for their beauty,
and not disturbed,
but cherished for their
existence.
Come to the Edge,
and lien out,
but never step over,
without your wings.
Tropical, exotic, new to the night,
The beautiful creature arrives,
Delicately velvet showing all that she is,
Her exquisite wings opening wide,
As she flies through my heart tickling my yearn,
Fluttering about with no care,
And dropping right down onto my head,
Free falling with a gleam in the air,
And as she falls I notice her wings,
Soft pink, soft music, soft smile,
Bubbling right down with a colourful soul,
A soul both gentle and wild,
My floating flower comes to me every night,
She floats right onto my lips,
With her heavenly wings and softest body,
She gives me a beautiful kiss.
She sorts me in parts
From one side to other.
I am symmetrical and asymmetrical.
I am closest to her brain
I swing around her freely.
I take a leap and kiss her cheeks
She tucks me back behind her ears
Adamantly, i repeat. She repeats.
I am tired
I rest on her shoulders.
I get confused and ill
She untangles me with her Clarity
She cleans me with her Sincerity.
I am hers.
I run down her neck and beyond.
Love song to Toria -
You were euphoria.
You gave my heart a whirl -
First time I kissed a girl.
My first slow dance was you -
Thought our romance was true.
Sang our tune, had some fun -
All too soon, love was gone.
To have you then to let you go,
whether you were a boy or girl I will never know,
I will never know how you feel,
God I can not believe this is real,
I will never get to hold you tight,
Or even kiss you goodnight,
I will never hear the first words you say,
Or get to watch you grow and play,
I will never get to kiss you or watch the things you do,
I will never get to play with you or show you I love you,
I don't understand why God took you away from me,
I guess it is the way he wantes it to be,
But even though I will never get to play with you or watch the silly things you would do,
I know my daddy and grandma will take good care of you,
I will meet you on the day I die,
Then we will make a home in the sky,
Until then remember in my heart you will always be,
And even though you are not here you mean the world to me.
Simple, singular, shards of silver moonlight,
Fell magically over our shadowy bodies, out of sight.
Twas on that vibrant, virginal, bench, oh love,
My being so young, heard the angelic sound of turtle doves.
Oh, heavens, that with musical madness seem to fall.
On two sweet young lovers, who gave that very first kiss, their all.

Poem# 1284
See my love in the waves of the seas.
Hear my love in rustling leaves in the breeze.
Feel my love in my soft caressing touch.
Share with me a gentle light kiss, not too much.
Like the love shown by a cooing dove,
Through these fleeting moments, sense my love.
