Premium Member Words With a Venomous Sting

It was not my intention to ever post in PS again
but through an open window I've caught a glimpse
and smell of what's been dumped into the soup.

No pleasure to poets will cruel deception bring
through mendacious words with a venomous sting
Clumsy are the fingers thrusting a poisoned dart
Villany flows from the arteries of a wicked heart

What keeps one hidden in fear behind a mask
lurking in shadows whilst imbibing from a flask
It's a path encrusted with derision and pretense
One a fool walks when guilt becomes immense

What price for a soul that's died too many deaths
or a life once more restored with sinister breaths
How many graves dug when loose threads unravel
Move on before the judge wields his mighty gavel

Only the naive and gullible would dare to believe
such repugnant lines written and meant to deceive
A weed in a garden, secreted among stalks of wheat
soon to wither and wilt. Such is the fate of a cheat

Vinegar in ink from a pen's nib has been interlaced
Woe to a deplorable life when it has been disgraced
Jagged, the rusted edge honed by a dour personality
In darkness looms the lonely; a hallmark of depravity

Beckoning Her

~

She reached for the ribbons of her gown
not knowing why, but she held them in her hand
as she floated through the ever changing mist,
whites and grays in a swirling pattern,
mesmerizing in blends and shifts,
blurred yet possessing a clarity she could not explain
or cared to think about right now

She looked down on herself in her bed sobbing,
clutching tightly a dampened pillow, lonely, a photo
in a silver frame on the bedside table, missing...
now very confused as a peaceful awareness wrapped about her warmly,
caressing her spirit, washing away the pain,
the sadness, the torment which she fought now to remember
as it drifted below, creating new shadows about her feet
but distant, never forgotten, she couldn’t, it was promised…

Once more the satin ribbons were pulled gently, guided
as if a feather laced kite on a silver string embracing blue skies,
dancing about in the slow rhythm, spun in clouded dreams,
breathless she soars higher, it seems towards the sun
or perhaps a light of a different source, it felt soft, cool
beckoning her and she yearned for it…
for some reason it felt right

Stars swept past her in wiry glistening designs
like a sparkler at a summer cookout waved through the air
in abstract cherry-lime glowings and apple pie tickles and she smiled,
for the first time in a long time as the moon disappeared on the horizon,
embracing this new experience she continued allowing the tender tugs on her ribbons
to move her freely, when she felt something, it was a hand on hers,
helping her hold the ribbons, it felt familiar, safe, comforting

When she saw his eyes, as clear as she had ever seen anything,
deep and friendly, soothing just as she had remembered…remembered?
He took her by the hands and he came even more into focus
“Hi there, I have missed you,” he sighed and she knew it was him
He was here, wherever here was, he held her in his arms now as he said,
“I promised you I would love you eternally, I have been waiting for you”
She cried again, happy tears as she whispered. “You did, you did, is this…”

“Shhh,” he placed a caring finger to her lips…

Love

LOVE

Love is just four letter Word
But sometimes acts as double edged sword

When you're in Love , it feels so good
Keeps you in Happy and joyful mood

Heart beats with a slower rate
Sleeps the thing the body hate

But when love tries to go away
Makes life take turns in Opposite lay

Tearing eyes and the soaring noes
You become lonely And friends be foes

Walking down the lane you think
Lifes like the Sun that sink

Shows you day and brings harmful night
Fate comes down like a dropping kite

So,
Being Lonely a good thing may be
As,
Love is not just everyones BABY.

Wandering Why I Am Listing You - List

I knew a poet in you, a long, long time ago
You used to be naïve, still the truest, I know.

I recalled, we bought a stand-fan, an item not in the list
$30 was unaffordable, almost a luxury for us, in the gist.

I got gallbladder stones, lots of math on surgery was on our note
We both were a student then. We were preparing to hit a long road.

You loved me when I am angry. You used to smile keeping your secret
Do you still do that now? Life is passing now at a fixed speed, targeted.

I still linger for your touch; too idiotic to mention it so late! And I had to know.
You were always so simple! Simplicity was a thing I longed for, could not grow.

You were too simple for a lavish moment to express feelings, too lonely a soul
Wandering why I am listing you? I assure you, it was never my intended goal.

You wanted me to open my eyes when we used to be intimate, I never could, so.
Forgotten life in closed eyes now, bleeds through a pen, saying,” Please! Let it go!”

I am looking at a poem now, a gift I wrote, so happy to finish my masterpiece!
Heard the news of the death of a reader today! So, left it there! Yours are all this!

Dear Heart

How Lucky We Are

Been so lonely a long, long time
Cannot do it wrong, wrong time
So dazed and confused
That I feel slightly used

From some abuse I sustained long ago…
This could have made me go very slow…
Not on your life, I go very fast…
I want to get there, Don’t want to be last…

I was beat like a man by the time I was 5
It is a wonder that I came out alive
My grandmother died at the hands of this man
It is a cold case file so what’s the plan

I could never do what was done to me
Wanting my children to be wild and free
Live your life freely for you will know
To open your eyes and watch the show

I lived a life that was not for the meek
Scared for my life every day of the week
Once it was known what happened to me
My mom made it so we could be free

She was scared for her life as well you know
Now none of that matters we were able to go
Holding a knife to his greasy throat
She escorted him out to the dirty road

How lucky we are to be free
I sure am happy to be me
My children have children that make me smile
Think I will go run the miracle mile

Disability and Equality

Disability & equality

I & my kind are equal
The skin of my color is not a curse
But due to evil & greed
My fellow humans have put a price-tag on my head
Making me the most hunted amongst the human kind
Yet in the book & to the creator we are equal

I am fully human nevertheless ,but human
Failing to carry my body due to my leg problems
doesn't make you more human because you can move

Situations i solve without my eyes
My heart & mind do the chemistry
I'm a man with no hands
But Wars & battles of injustice I fight
Yet job opportunities to my kind are still denied

My voice is heard but ignored
their voice is heard & acknowledged
leaving me a lonely a person,you call a mad man(wamisala)
Yet before the book we are all equal

Words from my lips are distorted
Hands i still use to communicate
Yet am denied the same chances as those that speak with their lips
but before the book & creator we are equal

Lost and Lonely a Message To My Souper Friends

Last year was a hard year with
alot of bumps in the road.I have
             missed all my souper friends.
             Last April my father,uncle,were
             diagnosed with cancer.They are
brothers and they found out on
the same day.I didn't take it well
and got mad and punched a steel
beam.I have paid for it ever since.
My father lost his fight and passed
away July 30,11.I had to have 3
surgeries in august on my hand.It
got a staph infection and was in the
hospital for 2 weeks and a nursing
facility for 48 days on IV antibiotics.
After my dad passed I felt like my
life was no longer worth living.
Now I feel I should end my life.
The date I have chosen is near. I
hope you all do well on your poetry
writing. There are a few people on this
site, you know who you are,I want to
thank you for everything you have
             done to help.
Now I am lost and lonely and ready
for peace.I hope my poetry legend
             will live on.

Song of the Loner

It’s lonely a cold night of rain
And I compose me a piece
From the pattering of drops
On the steel roof
With claps of thunderbolt
And swish of the wind

Of somebody next door who
Left somebody alone song!

The tap of my feet accord
With the crack of my teeth
When there’s no one beside
To drown my heart away
 A sonorous serenade
I croon into allegretto
A mellifluous drone in heart
So sad and drear

Of somebody next door who
Left somebody alone song!

Chime me you night crickets
And buzzing beetle
A piece in the cold night rain
To hype the heartbeat tempo
To wash the slumbering eyes
And feel forlorn at home
From the wailing pine
In the rush of wind
In that dark cold night rain

Of somebody next door who
Left somebody alone song!

Premium Member The Caped Crusader

On the cusp of the night, forged by the steel of his will
Poised on the edge of forever, eternally still
Patient as time, as the yesteryears mark where he's been
Different from man, for the harrowing sights that he's seen

He once lived a life, full of promise and dreams as he grew
In a world where believing made everything real become true
Where a dance with the Devil destroyed everything in a night
And darkness prevailed, stripping all but a glimpse of the light

No man shall bow down to the filth that roam freely today
No woman nor child shall taste of the fear or dismay
The lost and the lonely a champion has chosen to serve
The weak and the weary shall have all the hope they deserve

The battle ensues every night, arson, murder and rape
As justice is dealt from behind the dark crusaders cape
Steeled by the resolve that injustice shall not be the way
No conscience, no remorse, no soft executioners stay

That which lies written in stone is etched there in blood
The conscience once felt as a child, washed away in a flood
Only truth paves a path to the future, let that be his tome
At the centre of hurt and corruption he's fashioned a home

A soul torn and lost evermore, in the blink of an eye
Bewildering fate taught a grieving young boy not to cry
Did destiny cause it to be - Or was it just that
The catalyst needed to transform a man into bat

Tortured by loss and regret through a cruel twist of fate
Carved a body and mind, that was tempered by vengeance and hate
Scales of injustice now measure the weight of our sins
In the instant that Bruce Wayne dies... then... BATMAN BEGINS

The Metamorphosis of Life

Towns develop and cities grow,
Towers stand high and street lights glow.
But amidst the noises and flickering light,
there are changes that take place through the night.

Stars change form and galaxies move apart,
From a heavenly life on earth to another heaven, some people depart.
The changes in life subdue even the smartest of the smart,
each human has a turmoil churning the blood in their heart.

Animals are no exception to this case,
many changes in life, they too face.
One breaks it’s shell and soars to the sky,
while the other roams about on lower ground, unable to fly.

One human breaks another, relationships are torn.
The other curses life, regretting that he was born.
But while people grief and while people remorse,
destinies will many a time, change their course.

The one who always lost might find his chance.
For the one who was lonely - a new romance.
For the one who worked hard, he will receive the fruit of his labours,
for the one with no friends, the company of new neighbours.

There is nothing we can do about it – life is too complex.
No matter the situation, it never fails to leave us perplexed.
For no one can live a stable life here,
your luck could turn around, even when knowing that your end is near.

But life changes and so do we,
some of us may be caged while some roam free.
To understand life is not an easy task to do-
it has always confused me, and will also confuse you.

Death won’t stop the changes that take place,
so don’t make mistakes whose consequences you won’t be able to face.
After all, we survive in a world full of strife,
you must understand, that no one can stop the metamorphosis of life.

The Visitor-

The town lay dark and sleeping,
people safe ,in beds were keeping.
Only I , restless , hounded.
walked down the street,
heart pounded.
What called me from my nightly slumber?
Something lonely, a despairing hunger.
Through the gate , a soldier stumbles,
in the distance , cannon rumbles.
Suddenly , in my arms he falls,
“1863? he said,” do you see the musket balls?”
His blood soaks through a letter,
he pushes in my hands.
“Give this to my Jeanette,
make sure she understands!”
With one last cold and wintry breath,
Like fog he disappears,
I’m bewildered , frightened,
for he didn’t know the year.
It’s 2013 now, and Jeanette is now long gone,
I keep the blood stained letter ,
in my mind the cannon echoes on.

All Is Well

Only bold , italics ,

All is well

On reflective traits follow this as lonely a path personal of heart
Lift the raised glory as god inspired the monk, follow be forever Christian
to you as the march undaunted leads you on.

And if the darkness crosses your path give it no heed
Shine light on inspiration that causes reflection on that inverted flame,
In a moment set the glow across this path blind the darkness with your earthly flame
Sparked by love and happiness defeat all bad thoughts,
To the mist as sunlight pierces and banishes, restore the calm and light up this wondrous day.

Become forever free that toil benefits each life and gains a future
Broken the pieces become fixed Caught up forever,
Enlarged understanding in a framework, bestowed in mankind.
If this day shall pass all will be well in the world, for mine sadly will have passed!
But on this day I wish your world well, and may one god keep you forever as on this day, all is well in the world All is well

A Ghost In the Night

There is this girl
she resides in my dreams
she is quite young
eight or nine it seems

i know not where she is from
nor why she appears
I know not what she wants
or why she is here

she scares me immensely
for her face is scarred and twisted
she sits in the corner
wanting what? I must of missed it

she wears a little white dress
frilly and pressed
with long dark hair
messy and stressed

I sit frozen in horror
as she sobs in the corner
blood stained tears drop to the floor
i want to bolt for the door, I can't take anymore

I can not help.
I know not what to do
I sit frozen in shock
right next to you

Our eyes meet, yours is a glare
I dare not move, for I am regretfully aware
she's just cold and lonely, a ghost in the night
wanting assurance, Everything will be alright

This is the first time I've written anything in a couple years. I love this site and the people that visit it. just wanted to do a little something with the upcoming holloween/day of the dead vibe to let everyone know I am in fact still here. this is something ive honestly dealt with and have had several nightmares about. Creepy stuff. Hope you enjoy!

Premium Member Making Love

Making Love ???

Does it come from the heart ?, from a need ?, to create.
Is it biological ?, psychological ?, this desire to fornicate.
Is it Mother Natures, need to procreate, to perpetuate ?
Or is it man’s desire to feed Mother Vagina, to saturate ?

Could Love, be a deep seated desire ?,
to set the heart – lonely, a lone – on fire ?
Is Love, the gardeners need to plant a seed ?,
a wild child ?, that may become a bad weed.
The need – regardless – to feel is to love.

Making Love ???

Is all we overlook ?, tolerate ?, or rise above.
Soaring with the angels, flying with the doves,
reaching in, touching with tender, kid gloves
no matter the pain that tells of past, lost, Love’s.

Do Not Ever Deceive Me

Do Not Ever Deceive Me
----------------------------------

I Won’t wish:
Beat in lonely a pretty boy.
Hit a dog, asleep in shade.
Stone a bird singing on tree.
Rob a blind beggar returning home.
Pull an insect’s legs
Climbing a slippery wall.
Raise a barrier ere an ant
Dragging a grain toward her hole.

I’ll fear the springs,
 In summers I shall den;
Rejoice with the autumns,
Leaves falling of trees;
And be delighted with the harsh winters,
Lovers can not see.

I’ll taunt the sun’s routine rise
And call it mechanical,
And tell him hasten his set
In the July’s long-day evenings.
And abhor the stars-adorn calm sky;
And greet the gruesome gloomy nights
Which roar and light,
When stormy winds blow, and still doesn’t rain.

May then wilt the leaves of trees early!
May then wither the blooming roses!
