For the Love of Lippy

For the love of Lippy I've done it all...
And I would do it all again
For my heart, for my joy, for my friend
Oh what a world you got me into!
Some days so long and hard, I thought I'd never make it through
Except for knowing that at the end of the day, I could spend some time with you
We weathered the disasters and wrong choices... mostly mine
But we've reveled in our successes, in our friendship and in our time
So many places, so many changes, what a life we've shared
You've done what I've asked, you've mastered your tasks
And for you I will always be there... as you have been there for me
When my mind is blood red and my heart is stone gray
You stand before me pure white
And your mane dries my tears and your coat soaks in my sorrows
And your eyes always reveal "The Light"
Given to each other by one greater than us who knew what we both would need
Never a truer companionship than with you my faithful steed!
From long lazy rides in lush green fields on warm bright summer days
To tranquil wooded trails and dusty old roads, you've carried me all the way
You saved my heart, you saved my mind, you saved me from it all
And I owe you my life, I owe you the world for answering my call
For you I do it all...
Always in my heart I know you'll be, no matter what time brings
For it cannot separate two spirits joined
Or the memories that make their hearts sing
Together we answered the call
For you my wonderful friend... I did it all

Sans Servile

In sang-froid, sass cords:
Sangoma dashes siren,
Thunder crashes trunk;
Sarky banters with lippy.
Spim for Santa maidenhead.

And Her Sugarless Tea

Now for warm oatmeal with honey and her sugarless tea
To this chrysoberyl dawn rescue from chuted linen bedlam,
For here's a bedside tale to whispered promise and plea.

She sits on her hands and shuffles her ugg boots,
And watches me toast, I'm butter, I'm smoked ham.
Now for warm oatmeal with honey and her sugarless tea.

Pepper shakes, egg white eyes, her yawning toots,
Her champagne hair bubbles still of our liquory sham,
For here's a bedside tale to whispered promise and plea.

The wonder to her sprite body and this morn in cahoots,
When I feels like I'm sunken, with lids like a sleepy clam.
Now for warm oatmeal and honey and sugarless tea.

Not flowers on feathers, hoodlums we are - munchy and moose,
Nothing much matters but her lippy kiss coat of strawberry jam
For here's a bedside tale to whispered promise and plea.

This first light and cigarette and her shuffling caboose
Closer, comfier, her smile on my shoulder, to the day be damn'
Now for warm oatmeal with honey and her sugarless tea,
For here's a bedside tale to whispered promise and plea.

I met a sixties hippie
his hair it was quite flippy
I said he should cut it

Premium Member BUSHMILLS IN BUS STATION

Her hair's so black, the blue is breaking through.
Centre-parted with furrow crown to fore,
Perfectly placed and kept in position
As pretty red ribbons bind the bunches.

Her face is crazed and tanned to leather.
Too many benders on Benidorm beach.
Her mouth is creased, possibly from decades
Of dragging long and hard on king-size tipped.
But her lips: Aah! A work of art in crimson.

Today she wears a short-sleeve summer frock.
Floral pattern with red to match her lippy.
Her batwings flap-flop like Labrador ears.
Her small white socks sit snug in hiking boots.

She is the little girl in the old lady.
Time corrupts. Her comfort, her addiction.
After her tour of town she sidles off
To swig Bushmills on a bus-station bench.

Guess who must help to carry her back home.

Take a Shot From There

Take a pure shot from where you stand
and print me just the way I am

with no added colour of admiration,
3D effects of willingness,
or glossy prints of encouraging stimulus

For where I stand,
has no milky waterfalls, nor honey forestry
but
Silky anger and honey foretaste of the sweet stress that lies ahead,
coated with muddy sand and dry season

Take a pure shot from where you stand
Please, don’t add rainbow gestures to the picture
because it’s been a while I have seen nor said hello to the vivid rainbow

This is because
the eyeglass of the lively rainbow is cracked

So it can’t see me either,
this has swallowed It’s speech
and rendered it,
emotionally heartless

I don’t blame nor judge its sudden lippy disrespect
for I know,
it doesn’t want to damage further,
blench or bleach itself into my loopy shoes

Take a pure shot from where you stand
Please, don’t print me in coloured
because I am left in a monochrome mood
wondering in an unrealized lessened globe

Take a pure shot from where you stand
don’t take the shot with the camera flash light
so that you shall have a real feel of the darkened purity,
which possesses the surrounding of where I accusingly pose

Don’t conclude my picture
or exclusively judge me as a loser

For I am not!

If you think I am,
try posing a second in my picture,
while I take the picture from where you stand

Nineteen Sixtynow Please

I wanna bring back Psychedelic
Groovy cats and Shagadelic
DMT or the Sacred 'Shroom...or even good ole LSD
anything that provokes THE change in me
to go google-eyed and all trippy
rather than a coked up chav all gobby and lippy
wouldn't you rather be a hippy
brew some Ayahuasca tea, for the world to have a sippy
if the whole planet made the breakthrough
you would see that paradise is within you
You are Light and Love, Pure and True
On a trip can see it clearly
but words dont fit it, not quite or nearly
language can't symbolize all you see
through a glass pipe of DMT
Mushrooms in man aroused Conscious thought
lookin' to the Cosmos where answers were sought
imagining mighty battles being fought
while glimpses of divinity were seen and caught.
Or the Summer of Love inspired by LSD
encapturement of the swinging sixty
Donovan to Beatles an' least not Doors
the hippy movement uniting for a cause
in those crazy hazy years of yesterdays
when talent had the stage to say what it says
but nowadays for my generation, I don't wanna be mean
but all we get are poser boys and a karaoke queen!
So take me back to the 60's by all means
and let me stay there in technicolour psychedelic dreams
the futures bland and dull, though they said it gleams!

Thigh Dreams

I am covering my thighs in baby powder, to ease the sore chapped skin

They are now red and raw after exercising, at an aim at being thin

my goal is to drop a few pounds, and maybe achieve a thigh gap

my thighs rub together with every step that i take, it gets worse with every lap

i would like to blame the celebrity pictures, of skinny thighs, its mostly photo shop

so ive decided to take a stand, start exercising and do a few food swaps

so i put on some lippy, and head to the gym, i am feeling and looking lush

After a few weights and a several rounds on the treadmill, i look like i have been dragged through a bush.

As beads of sweat run down my face , and my mascara starts to run

I realise its not so great in here, and it really isn't any fun

So if you see me baby elephanting, pounding the streets, and the roads shake within every lap

Just remember that i am doing all this for the skinny persons thigh gap.

Ode To Fanny Craddock

Ode to Fanny

Her start in life was rather poor
with wastrel parents, ones to abhor
She avoided living in the gutter
Earning enough for her bread and butter

Her break in life came rather later
Before, bigamy and babies to underrate her
Her kids grew up in the care of another
She never took to being a mother

Her culinary skills proved rather good
She could write and critique on all kinds of food
Destined to star in sixties telly
She graced her shows in glitzy finery

Her zany persona was rather dippy
Her dress was ball gown and misplaced lippy
Shunning apron and hat that looked so drab
‘Cos cooking and baking should always look fab

The man she had met was rather fine
Ex army major, life was divine
They fronted shows as man and wife
Fanny and Johny, well matched and no strife

Her fame continued for rather a while
Overridden by others in different style
And gaffes too many, they booted her out
No telly shows, no gowns to flout

Her recipes of the past still rather great
She put pizza and prawn cocktail on our plate
She and Johny, always a couple
Poor but content to remain conjugal

Ooh rather!

Premium Member Time Travelling Did Personality

Hello, my beautiful name is Deb,
And I’ve a power to share,
I’m a little time travelling tripster traveller,
Any time, any place, anywhere,

Like the other day I woke up in a house,
A house that I never knew,
And I realised when I walked around,
This house I’d never been to,

Or last week travelling to a concert,
Mega loud, mega death, mega rock,
I travelled to sitting on the couch at home,
The next day at about one O’clock,

And time travelling messes up my hair,
Changes my lippy colour to what I don’t like,
But that’s the rub of travelling time,
For this D.I.D. living psych.

You Can Be a Psychopath

You can think you’re better though affection isn’t shown
You never win approval from the people you have known
But you still boast abilities and think how far you’ve grown
with nobody around you as you’re always on your own

You’ve never known what is to be liked or to be loved
you only know what it is to be hateful with a grudge
thinking you’re superior while all else are a mug
only ever hearing your voice saying you’re above

The punishment is you are you
all your life in all you do
seeing things as you need too
the punishment is you are you

Born with a deficiency
emotionless and misery
humans are a mystery
behaving very differently

You don’t feel emotions that would make you feel alive
you just have a hollow hole where nothing lives inside
people wish you hateful suffering before you die
nobody you ever meet wants you within their life

Wishing for approval that you will never get
happy to behave a way that leaves the rest upset
it’s the only reaction that you have ever met
everyone who hurts you has no sorrow or regret

While you think you’re big and bad
others think you’re flipping sad
always lippy always mad
you’re a very tragic lad

You think you are better than everyone you knew
Everybody hating you
You think you are clever though it is far from true
the punishment is you are you
