Laughing Atmospheres
It floats in the morning dew
Settles with diamonds
On cobwebs who
Catch dreams on their threads
The sensual quiet of dawn
Imbues
The grass blades are whispering
To the sifted chanting
Of being One
In a glittering pool
The sea
Dances every possibility
Day bright answers to the
Begun
Shafts brilliance of the sun
Calling loud
With its perpetual anthem
Loud call
To the rest of the world
And here it comes
The daybreaks begin
Leaping from my chest
It seems
Rushing to laughing atmospheres
Peaks
On white bathed angels
Wings expand
Sends me out
Higher than the light
In my eyes
Gathering to the quintessence
Point
The beating monument
Of my heart
Single holds on to intense
Shudders delight
Through every sense
I am soaring skies
I see her eyes
I
Left unbound to the anchoring ground
I
Hear the word
The catapult of love
Universal soundings climax
Imparts
Beneath the eyes of God
When we both were created
As one
She holds my cheek
And the ghostly press
Of lips meet
I
Confess my soul
To the indomitable
Flow
Of love
And the orchestral designs of morning
Send this rockets emotive
Burning
Reaching
Powered to pinicles
In a cavalcade chords
Goes racing
Cavorting
Climbing every space
My spirit
Has loosed upon the chase
To its welcome home
For such an exuberant ride
All on its own
Takes it place
At her side
I
It is there
Where I belong
You see
Every atom
And concept of me
Has always been
Since God created us
Both
As one

I tried to play tennis but looked like a goose
They took some pictures, said this is no use,
I could hit the ball, but in the wrong place!
Then I tried basketball, for I was tall
Most of the time I could not get the ball,
And everyone knew my name was not grace!
Thought running or track might be my talent
Tripped on my feet, on the pavement went,
So pretty I lay there, with a red face!
An athlete, not me, but I’ll tell you this
With the right attitude, you cannot miss,
If you laugh at yourself, you’ve won the race!
Arrogance,
laughing at
Ignorance,
Not funny.
Awareness
Can cure
Ignorance.
Arrogance
Has no remedy
Not even money!
I want to make you laugh
Till you're rolling on the floor
I won't be satisfied
Until you beg me for more
Passion mixed with laughter
Can truly be divine
No one else's fingers
Are anything like mine
They will fill you with pleasure
your heart can't help but race
You try to stop laughing
Tears stream down your face
Laughter becomes rapture
I know what you like best
I place my hands gently
A feather like caress
The rhythm becomes faster
My touch is more firm
No longer wanting laughter
With sweet passion you burn
Years we've been together
I still make you laugh every day
But in the end
This is my favorite way
Linda/ PD's make me laugh contest
Laughter with a twist.
As the dusk of darkness settles in the
sky above
The setting of the sun masters
colors we all love
Stars begin to twinkle, covering the
heavens at night
As the moon appears in its beautiful
array so bright
Magically in different forms until it
comes to be full
The starry dippers chasing one another
as in a duel
Disappearing as the clouds come into
sight with haste
The rain falls supplying the earth with a thirst full taste
As the dawning aligns itself with the rising of the sun
Creation blossoms as a result of what the
rain has done
Blue skies allowing its rays to bear its warmth upon us
White clouds puff across the sky, as large
as an Octopus
Figures are created with each cloud
whether big or small
The wind moves the tops of trees,
whether short or tall
Watching the sun half circle, shading each part of our land
Birds singing in harmony like heaven’s marching band
The magic of beauty is seen in the
heavens day and night
Planes flying from east to west until
they are out of sight
Hot air balloons of all colors rise above
following the cloud
People watching noisily with clapping hands so loud
Paratroopers falling from heaven framed
in pictured glory
Flowing with grace as this majestic
view tells their story
Children releasing balloons while watching their flight above
Their face reminds us why this magic
in the sky is so loved
It's here now under a converted sky
Where daylight has loss it’s might
Hours before the green hills had sight, with
splattered hints of yellow wild flowers so bright
Now time has casts a different light
It here now where the heavens sings an evening song
With twinkled lights on a moon lit prong
Dancing stars and dreaming of mars
Its here on this transformed spot
I will sit and jot
It is here now as I lay back on this cool grass, and write a story
with the heavens the color of quarry
Of jeweled eyes in the skies
that connected to stories, some disguised
With silver spoons and astrological loons
On dream away, dream on by
to the earths motions and lullabies
It is here now time to take a brake
from life’s work ,and worries and heart ache
Try it yourself remember when, you were a child
when you looked up the night and smiled amen
I woke myself up laughing
I couldn't hold it in.
It started with a chuckle..
and it ended with a grin.
Have you ever woke up laughing?
I mean right out loud and clear?
I love when my day starts like this
but it's my family's greatest fear.
They know if I wake up laughing
they're bound to hear the joke.
No matter how un-funny...
I'll laugh until I choke!
Yesterday I woke up laughing
about a funny dream.
I'd tell you all about it
but to you it may not seem....
Ok, I'll tell the story...
but just prepare yourself to roar.
I dreamt I took the last dry towel...
and there weren't anymore!
This is it! That's the dream!
I still can't tell it through.
I'm laughing myself out of my chair
as I write the words to you!
Within my psychedelic psychosis divided by hell’s malignant mitosis,
Navigated by narcotized neurosis absorption through opiate osmosis…
Within my lunatic leverage of will, I needed to miraculously madly mill,
The negligent neurons of my ill amidst a faltering fragment of my spill.
My eyes that bear the bevel upon derelict distortions of a devious devil,
Laboring the leprous level of the seismic seizures that I neatly nestle…
In the abyss of my lacrimal laugh, I stand segmental with my satirical staff,
Decorative deceptions on my behalf as I stare at the world a genuine gaffe.
No real resolution to ponder for the quicksand of mind quivers yonder,
A sinkhole of a weeping wander amongst sacrifices of a slaving squander…
Thus in my sanctimonious seclusion within my catacombs of confusion,
The universe disperses diffusion along with programmatic parallel illusion.

Heavy is the wind
That carries human anguish
O’er fields of death
To settle a score
Gentle is the wind
That cradles a love song
And comforts young mothers
Widowed by war
Laughing is the wind
At human disconnection
And failure to hold
Onto lessons of yore
Crying is the wind
As it mourns forever
Those we have lost
To touch nevermore

Most treasured moments are never planned
Like poetry, they often spring alive,
unrehearsed, and with surprise….
They often pop up here and there
like little gifts, without fanfare

She wore her skirt short,
her lingerie to be seen.
Such sights aplenty!
Gawking, gawping eyes
lusted at shear nudity.
They burned with hunger.
She proudly stood in
ruffled edges of cheap chintz,
dimmed and stained with wear.
Though worn and weathered,
her shoes had seven-inch heels -
a platform for love.
She was hardworking,
a rough road for seven years,
never a complaint.
She saved her rewards,
wed an investment banker,
retired at 30,
and laughed her way to the bank.
Laughing purple lilacs rain wonders through a thirsty soul – by poet
Lavender lilacs, tranquil and prayerful
Fill up the heart with a sense of compassion
Lightly whispering in the morning breeze
Gentling the eyes with breaths of pure love
Serenity flows warm through the tender petals
Melting away all worry, pain or depression
With holy hints of soft color - happiness sighing
To the heavens where my heart is admiring
Gracious and glorious blossoms of lilacs
Penetrating the soul with heavy boughs
Flowers so cheerful, they bring laughter to the
Silence and contentment to the forlorn
Purple lilacs so alive they dance in the hues
Of a buttery yellow sun who delights in shining
Down through halos that surround everyone
With a glow of purity only found on angel’s arms
As they bless the ground where
Lilacs bloom in the shadows of a dream
So beautiful it sings the sweetest melody
A chorus of hope, faith and love
Sent down on these green leaves
Who murmur of God’s great peace
Given to hearts who listen to the senses
As they reflect on the lilac’s brilliant semblance

The sound of a child laughing:
sounds like music to my ears;
and brings a smile to my day.
Even more than Summer's heat;
I love the cacophony
of happy children at play.
The scamper of tiny feet;
fuels my enthusiasm,
for the frolics of Summer.
Kids love Summer more than Spring:
for like Nature, they often
dance to another drummer.
Their vigor charges my heart,
I almost feel young again:
spry, without worry or care.
Summer is a time for fun,
suntans, and relaxation:
to kids, it's beyond compare.
The sea laughs, its waves arise,
A timeless dance beneath vast skies.
Drifting freely, living today,
The tides erase what words convey.
Heaven laughs at our fleeting fight,
Who will fall, and who takes flight?
Ups and downs like the ocean’s roar,
High peaks crumble, low tides restore.
Why fret for victory, or weep for loss?
Life flows on, no need to pause.
The rivers laugh, the mountains sigh,
Heroes fade, their echoes die.
Yet in the breeze, I find my place,
Lost in solitude, time’s quiet embrace.
Bold and lofty, free from the strain,
Of fleeting glory or endless gain.
The waves will wash all dreams away,
Even life bows to their sway.
But what of that? Why fear the tide?
A noble heart has nothing to hide.
Cast off the mask, embrace the flame,
Forget the world, discard its name.
True self stands firm, unyielding, free,
Lonely, yes—but true to me.
Though my life may set like the evening sun,
Its splendor lingers, the race is won.
Through crashing waves, I find my song,
Laughing wildly, where I belong.
I live as the sea, vast and untamed,
Savoring joy, unbound, unchained.
Even at the edge, where shadows descend,
I’ll laugh, defiant, until the end.
