Best Jaded Poems
A Jaded ManThe sting of shattered trust
fills his veins with toxic spite,
contaminating his heart.
He finds solace in a bottle,
quenching his resentment,
slurring forth caustic fumes;
nauseating his liver.
Until he spits her treachery up
with a sickening heave,
in the shallow, murky gutter
of a jaded man's reprieve.

From Jaded GreenA harvest breeze invites the leaves
to shimmy on the tree.
In haunting song she sighs and grieves
as on her breath they flee.
They dance and twirl away from her,
sweet fragrance lingers where they were,
they dance and twirl,
they dance and twirl
toward the twilight of the year.
A gentle moonlight...

Of jaded muses and digital distractions - POTWThe allure of mused poems,
No longer visits this nonchalant psyche.
It trickles now, once a roaring torrent
Now a lazy stream
Am like a desultory jaded heaven
Where starry jewels once decked the night,
But are now drossy shadowy blackholes,
And sparks and dreams,
Are ripped in the accretion disc.
No longer...

Justly feel my facial frowns
Jaundiced views debilitate
Jeopardise my feeble state

The Jaded EyeDeath is not death but a mask of great love
That protects us from pain in archived dust
Where vanity veils and desire dreams lust,
And the spirit's retreat is safe above.
Behind the mask like wings of woodland dove
A heart still beats, and footsteps break the crust
Of memory...

Today I Feel So JadedLooking after aged parents is taking its toll on me
Just need a little bit of 'me time' simply to be free
Time to sit and write poems under a shady tree
Or go down to the beach and paddle in the deep blue sea
Go out riding on...

Jaded TrailBlithe fools traipsing through bleary hollow
Airy sprites in hovering tents shadow
Brooding sylvan fringe shrouding light with her swaying willow
Jaded beams peep through the crenelated steeple's window
Sprouting thickets bristling with spiny tendrils each step harrow
Creepy vermin frenetically scurry under foot from burrow to
burrow
A musty dampness...

JadedSomeone to hold me tight,
To laugh all through the night,
That’s what I want most in my life,
To be a mother, best friend, and wife.
I want to know
That someone’s always there for me.
I want it to show;
Our love will live forever, unconditionally.
Sometimes I think it was...

Through Jaded EyesThrough Jaded Eyes you see the world,
and everything in view.
But see you weren’t like this
when I finally had found you.
It sucked you in, this monster,
and it caused the world to pause.
It took our lives away
when it had trapped us in it’s...

In Youth, Our Eyes Are But Dark Jaded SpheresIn Youth, Oft Eyes Are But Dark Jaded Spheres
The Gods we adore in our youthful youth
Are just shadows we see before life's truth
In youth, oft eyes are but dark jaded spheres
That deny and guard against our deep fears
Wherein Life's stream veers in its steady flow
Bypassing...

Jaded CrystalShe went by the name of Crystal
Faded but straight as a pistol
Face showing the tick of the clock
Many times she had circled the block
Married twice but soon learned the rule:
‘Don’t tie yourself down to no fool’
Nose sniffing from snorting cocaine
Her crazy blue eyes pierced the...

Eagles' Jaded Flighteagles' jaded flight-
submit to winter’s lean scrapes….
sparingly content
resting after a fill-
eagles observe frozen land….
awaiting warm sun
sluggish tide retreats-
leaving a cold meatless beach….

I Want To Be LovedLove defeats I’m not brave
I can’t wait anymore
And I wish to be slave
And I gift you my core.
In my longing, I’m blind
And I’m losing control
I will ask you to find
My desirable soul.
In your vanity wave
Will you hear my last cry?
And I stand near...
