Today I Feel So Jaded

Looking after aged parents is taking its toll on me Just need a little bit of 'me time' simply to be free Time to sit and write poems under a shady tree Or go down to the beach and paddle in the deep blue sea Go out riding on a quad bike and have a little fun Lounge in my bikini top and catch a little sun Sit and drink a cocktail on a tropical beach Hope this little dream isn’t too far out of reach But anything is possible in my sleepy head I’m off to relax and dream now in my comfy bed Jan Allison 10th July 2014

I have my husband to support me but it is very tough going at times and we are so looking forward to a few days break away in August. Thanks for your concern:-) Hugs Jan xx

Jan what you are going through is just what other cares go through, it's so hard work, your on call 24/7. One should never feel guilty, as we are only human and can only take so much, our batteries get drained we need a break. I know of a few people who tell me the same. you need a life too. we love them so we give them our all. I hope you find sometime for yourself a good friend perhaps to share the load what ever. Hugs Jan. we could all use a break when being responsible for someone elses well being, taking care of yourself is equally important. it is so great of you to be supportive and caring, you are such a terrific person. I hope you have a great rest and find some relaxation, many hugs :)

Am on a break for a few days but not till of August ... am counting down the days - had a tough few days mum been in hospital and it's taken its toll. Hugs Jan xxx
