Best Jacqueline Poems
Just the other day I came across a picture of you with your horse
And was amazed to see how much we looked alike
Could it be true that you are mere words upon a cold stone
Quiet, beautiful and kind Jacqueline
Unbelievable you left this world on Mother's Day
Entangled, meshed, intertwined are our souls for eternity
Love is what you left with me
I am so proud to be the daughter of one such as you
Not a day will go by that you are not in my heart
Especially on Mother's Day

Jacqueline, my mother . . .
always with a smile and a twinkle,
with happiness, joyfulness and blissfulness.
Born poor, poverty-stricken, moneyless, penniless,
she left shantytown far behind, the slum that was home;
fell in love, married young and was with child so very young,
her sadness was buried deep, she held it within her broken heart.
Jacqueline, my mother . . .
We took great pleasure in summer adventures,
mother always said she had a great sense of direction;
but mostly we were lost, gone astray and hopelessly adrift,
so stumbling upon a quaint country town was usually the result.
Jacqueline, my mother . . .
Her family was her joy and mother was her job,
we loved mom, mommy, mama who was so kind to us;
so caring, warm, tender, gentle, devoted, protecting her kids,
and she taught us to be adventurous and not be afraid to get lost.
Jacqueline, my mother . . .
always with a smile and a twinkle,
with happiness, joyfulness and blissfulness.

Unbelievable you left this world on Mother's Day
the writer has a hard time accepting the death
of her mother, who was a special person and
the timing of the death makes it even more difficult
Entangled, meshed, intertwined are our souls for eternity
Love is what you left with me
I am proud to be the daughter of one such as you
the love for mother will never cease, there
is great pride in the daughter for her mother
Not a day will go by that you are not in my heart
Especially on Mother's Day
even death cannot take away the love

She was of this rich
earth and clay
a beautiful lass so full of life
and so wont at play
who used to water ski
in Turtle Bay
At Carnival time
costume in hand
marched and danced she
in a masquerade band
till midnight and Las Lap’s
last stand
The year was
nineteen fifty-three
when down the aisle walked
in grace and beauty
my future mother
and bride to be
A Catholic girl
whose love was true
torn between the man she loved
and faith she knew
but followed her heart
and said “I do!”
Was a leap of faith
and leap of fate
to stay all the raging madness
and mayhem at our gate
or leave Trinidad
before it’s too late
Her island home
for us all gave up
and of life’s bittersweet wine
drank from its cup
but a poisoned chalice
she did sup
She was an abider
of all that’s good
who raised us in the cares
and joys of motherhood
in the devotions for which
she stood
Whom taught me
in the ways of love
and edified the outcast soul
in me to rise above
when all our lives
she was a part of
The breast that
suckled life in arms
alas needed life’s healing salves
and curing balms
yet bravely you fought
all its harms
Now it’s been
twoscore years gone
since God among His saints
counted you as one
and a darkness this world
fell upon!

From my window, I saw spring flowers
Kissed by morning's radiance
You were my cloud of joy
Touching me with your charm
You awakened me from dream to thee
Love was in the air when I looked up
A moment of clarity sparkled
Love's rebirth arrived with you, my love
You illuminated the chambers of my heart
You, like kaleidoscopic pastels
Of spring flowers graced my space
In visions, with your loveliness, capturing me
I was in transit
Yet, sifting through pages of time
Again you emerged; as I unearth my symbol of love
Letters and numbers were blessings in disguise
A printed flower called Jacqueline, graced sheets of white
Your voice became a sweet soothing sound to my soul
I sat in awe, poised with pen on sheets of white
There you were, as pure as precious luck
Or is it, we should stay in touch?

It's dark in this room.
No light to shine.
No one to say hi
but I'm filled with fright.
No one can see
The fright inside of me
but the darkness is spreading
all around me.
There is no future.
Neither a past.
The present is here
but it won't last.
35th President John F. Kennedy
Somehow developed major enemies
Their seemingly styled Camelot
Dissolved when extramarital affairs were caught
His wife the graceful Jacqueline Kennedy
Drew Americans in to total empathy
When her love was killed that day
But both of them had affairs to play
There is no perfect rhyme for Kennedy but I went ahead with that one anyway.
The title line would not let me use apostrophe or a period in it. LOL
I have read that President Kennedy had many affairs but I do not know that for a fact and also Mrs. Kennedy had affairs as well so I have read. They say don't spread gossip but it is written in books.

"mommy, I have things to tell you small things
and big things, things only you will understand."
Quote by _Constance
just the other day I came across a picture
of you with your horse
and I was amazed to see how much we look alike
could it be true that you are just words
upon cold stone
oh, my quiet, beautiful and kind Jacqueline
it is unbelievable you left this world
just after Mother's Day
now, entangled, meshed, intertwined
are our souls for eternity
the meaning of love and so much more
is what you left with me
and I am so proud to be the daughter
of one such as you
mommy, not a day goes by
that you are not in my heart
especially on each Mother's Day
oh, how my heart is shattered
and my thoughts are scattered
with sadness for your sad death
and the day of your last breath
I recall that sweet May day
with the songs of birds so gay
after- I strolled in the blue
where a bird came (I think was you)
I promised to plant you a garden bright
with flowers swaying and birds in flight
each May- I will do this to honor you
I will plant a garden calm and tranquil
oh, how my heart is shattered
and my thoughts are scattered

Kosa Lipi kukukosea?
Penzi Mbona waniteka!
Hisia sizo tetereka,
Kuni za huba kuchochea,
kambani kunifunga,
Penzi nisikutoke,
Hata usiponifunga,
Penzi siwezi ponyoka.
Mitetemo yenye huba,
Mapigo ya moyo kuchonyota,
Yanifanya kibogoyo,
Hali kuwa nna meno,
Niseme nini tena?
Penzi laniteka!
Kutekwa penzini,
Kutoroka siwezi.
Mtekaji ni laazizi,
Kwa Mapenzi simuwezi,
Kanifunga kwa hisia,
Minyororo yenye kopa,
Kutoroka mie siwezi,
Kwa mapenzi namuenzi,
Ameniteka milele,
Burudani yetu milele.

She starred in "Doctor Who" and "Blood Money".
She died thirty years ago today at the age of 63.
When she starred in those Doctor Who episodes, she starred with William Hartnell and Tom Baker.
She lost her battle with cancer thirty years ago today and she went to Heaven and met her maker.
She also starred in "Tales Of The Unexpected", "The Comedy Man" and "No Hiding Place".
People were sad thirty years ago because she was no longer a member of the human race.
It's always sad when such a talented person dies.
All of her fans mourned because of her demise.

Jacqueline was trim and lean never ran out of steam
she ran and ran and never tired now isn't that a dream
she did a sprint
and won some mints
Lifesaver ones, for her and her victorious team.
