John F and Jacqueline Kennedy Fairy Tale Camelot

35th President John F. Kennedy Somehow developed major enemies Their seemingly styled Camelot Dissolved when extramarital affairs were caught His wife the graceful Jacqueline Kennedy Drew Americans in to total empathy When her love was killed that day But both of them had affairs to play There is no perfect rhyme for Kennedy but I went ahead with that one anyway. The title line would not let me use apostrophe or a period in it. LOL I have read that President Kennedy had many affairs but I do not know that for a fact and also Mrs. Kennedy had affairs as well so I have read. I they were a gilden couple, i'd not heard of her affair but nothing would surprise me as he wasn't faithful to her, many congratulations on your win :-)

Well, to the Kennedys' credit: They took pains to be discrete. They certainly didn't brag about their affairs. At heart, they were probably deeply ashamed of themselves. ---All to distinguish them from their baby boomer successors, Clinton and Trump. That said, they feared men (finding out) more than they feared God's commandment not to adulterate! ---which ain't sayin' much for them... Thanks for the thought-provoking clerihew, Sara. ~ Gershon

Kennedy Was An Amenity Came to conclusion about Kennedy; Was always an outstanding amenity; Handled things; Honor he brings; Recognized as independent identity.

James, Yes, Kennedy was a great man and I respected him when he was in office and was saddened when he died by violence at such a young age. However, there was the side of them that we did not know at the time that wasn't what we thought it was. Sara

Sara, great poem. John F. Kennedy is said to have had an affair with Marilyn Munroe if one believes the gossip and is that why she committed suicide? more gossip. Sad if true~

DH, Yes, Marilyn Monroe was one of the ones mentioned in articles about his affairs. It was said that he was married 10 years to Jackie and had 20 affairs in that time. Not a perfect marriage. Thanks for stopping by. Sara
