IRRESISTIBLE – Two sketches

Bella Donna

At distance
She had beauty of form –
A kind of neutral simplicity
Which added perfumed color
To those surround

Closing on subject
One might notice a slight pink rush
On her blossom face
A deep emerald glow
Striking the eye

The meeting is sudden
One yearns to touch
Ah but to kiss
Would be sorry for
A poison heart stains that loveliness

POPPY

Her dress is varied –
A mixed confusion of inner colors
Detracting from those not lesser charms -
The lemon creamy fringes

The central ebony and peach flares
Blend to focus an oval black beauty
With laughing lips
And a will to be loved

bursts of colour
exuberant extravaganza...
nature in passionate mood...
irresistibly
I yield to temptation.

That Irresistible Heartthrob Is Me

That irresistible heartthrob is me;
who has a smile more charming than me?
I can love anyone so passionately
and give a girl anything she wants;
if she asks me for a single star,
I'll give her the entire universe.
If she asks me to play a song on the guitar,
I'll play a beautiful piano symphony!

Most of the guys despise me
for being the symbol of sexuality;
they have everything, but they can't be me!
Ah! they get mad when girls flock to me,
yes, irresistible heartthrob...
you're unique in all you do and say;
yes, irresistible heartthrob...
you have the willpower and they'll obey!

That irresistible heartthrob is me,
I can always rely on my good looks
and with them, I can charm any girl;
is there any other guy like me?
I won't release any girl until she admits
I was the best she ever had!
That irresistible heartthrob is me;
I am very lucky to have it all!

Premium Member God's Irresistible Grace

The grace of God is so wonderful
God has given it as a gift to mankind
for without it man is lost completely
their spiritual eyesight is totally blind

God's grace is truly irresistible
when man has been regenerated anew
this grace affects the heart of man
melting its defiance to receive it true

God's righteousness at Christ's expense
what a vivid picture this conveys
that Jesus is man's perfect sacrifice
His living saviour, for sins price He did pay

When God gets a tight hold of you
knocking down all your doubts and fears
His way becomes so clear to attain
then you know His presence is ever near

This Christ will be your living saviour
one that's always at your side
shows His grace is irresistible
so make sure you know Jesus will abide

Irresistible 2

succumb to her charm
no escape from the web

Premium Member The Irresistible Slaw Dog

Should you awaken in the night in a fog,
Raid the frig, and have yourself a slaw dog!
It will generate sweet dreams during the night,
And you will sleep like a baby until first light.

Simply Irresistible

SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE!

Nothing in this world compares to you
I don’t stand a chance,
insatiably addictive, you’re
more inviting with each glance.
When I get you hot, you sizzle,
it’s you that I adore,
so seductively enticing,
I couldn’t want you more.
Your intoxicating fragrance,
wafting through the air,
your euphoric aroma lingers on
my clothes, my skin, my hair.
You consume my thoughts, fulfill my dreams,
you wet my appetite
thoughts of you arouse me,
morning, noon and night.
Dressed up or naked, either way,
there’s no time to waste,
deliciously soft and warm
the way the best popcorn should taste.

Irresistible Faded Memory

My heart is crushed yet is hushed,
I feel rushed,
Six years was long,
I felt there is something wrong,
When I am with you, I don't feel strong,
Strongly feel things are prolonging.

Promises that you made,
Nothing came along, yet it fade.
Time is wasting into nothing,
Nothing worth while to keep.
We are still in step one,
My veins are popping out of anger,
My head is blowing out of pressure.

The storm has come,
My face is blank with no expressions,
Should I run?Panic?Relax?
Sorrow comes with a flow,
The mistakes that I made it shows.
Scared to face my fear,
Yet is near my dear,
Running without a parachute,
Walking on the clouds,

Not sure where life is taking me?
Curiosity kicks in,
Was all this a a long dream?
I want that dream to be true,
Your multi-personality is suffocating me,
Feeling your unpleasant status,
Makes me not want to be with you,
Question,questioning, questions?
You are unbalancing my weight,
I have always know that you are the one,
Until you ruined everything of my existence,
With a long distance,
Now you made me unsure,
You are changing in a bad way,
I am scared to love you,
Because I don't recognize you as you.

Irresistible Charm

Cute little baby lying in her crib
Like a fresh sacred flower bud straight from Heaven
Just awake from a short nap
Eyes wide open, she began to coo
Mama came near and sang "Oh my sweet angel.. "
Baby chuckled back with a sweet unconscious smile

Irresistible Aroma

Natures aromas, fragrance naturally disperse

Delightful infusions for our senses to indulge,

Fresh cut grass, delectation, beautiful Ladies purse,

Old English roses bloom with scent they divulge,

Honeysuckle, jasmine, hyacinth, excite nostrils

Inviting participants to go closer, exciting receptors

Within nasal passage, leaving memorable trails

Of pleasurable sweet life giving golden nectars,

Honey scented buddleia, joyful lilies pure, true

Gently Intoxicate, alternating mood docile to virile

On a summers evening, aroma wafting through

Sultry night air, standing on a carpet of camomile,

Essence of Lavender entwined with magnolia

Accentuate our pleasure being experienced

By fragrances, or colourfulness of begonia

Our wonderful aromatic plants can't be replaced.

Your are
This light

Drawing
Me to

Maybe
Not Where

I do
Expect

Yet it
Is though

Where I
Need to

Be at

Premium Member Irresistible Desire

What could be better
when tummy growls,
than a BLT, stacked high

on whole wheat toast
with summer tomato
and fresh, crisp lettuce?

Goes down easy,
satisfies,
but only for a moment.

Baconish aroma
fills the house,
sings an irresistible song
which lingers
and lingers,
 . . . . . . lingers.

The Irresistible Force

Infinity has no ending,
It is boundless and unbending.
No power can delay the course,
Of the irresistible force.

And "nothing" is its counterpart,
There is no beating in its heart.
Yet it deserves the same respect,
It's the immovable object.

Each one of these is absolute,
A concept science might dispute,
But if you view it logically,
Perhaps you might agree with me.

For "nothing" is clearly defined,
And it is perfectly designed,
It is the absence of all things,
No space, no God, no angel's wings.

And gravity would not exist,
Though Stephen Hawking might resist.
No scientific articles,
On subatomic particles.

And space and time could never be,
No empty void for gravity.
Each theory science has defined,
Was conceived by a human mind.

Imagination fueled their spark,
That life came bursting from the dark,
But even darkness can be framed,
Identified, and duly named.

But "nothing" is absent of this,
It's not some stygian abyss,
No defined "thing" will you detect,
In the immovable object.

Ideas have another source,
That's the irresistible force.
Within, ALL "things" can be defined,
Imagined by the human mind.

Infinity won't be contained,
Its nature cannot be constrained.
There is no "nothing" at its end,
No other force can make it bend.

And if perception dwells in you,
Could it not then as well be true,
That perception might also be,
An aspect of infinity?

Imagination can be framed,
And perception properly named.
Which means such concepts must exist,
So consciousness can't be dismissed.

Are such ideas so far fetched?
Has logic been overly stretched?
Must thought be an organic trait?
Or is it an infinite state?

Was the irresistible force
Conceived by an opposing source?
Could it have come, as some expect,
From the immovable object?

Such opposites could never meet,
This is an impossible feat.
If one exists, the other can't,
Despite the seeds some theories plant.

Reality is what's perceived,
Our minds accept what is believed.
But more exists beyond the veil,
Infinite seas on which to sail.

And I will sail these seas with you,
Where every port of call is new,
No power can delay the course
Of the irresistible force.
