Bracken breached hawthorn hedgerows
hide teeny folk with tiny toes.
Sheer gossamer wings; shy butterflies
Dew-drops lit by dawning skies.

Sandy hair, blue raven locks
Auburn streaks on chestnut stalks
Valley lilies invert to hats
Wee portabella mushroom caps.

Acorn shoes with resin soles
Lace gartered legs and leafy shawls
Dresses spun from brushed lime silk,
petal pinks, or white as milk.

Impish grins stoke laughing smiles.
whimsy’s sound sets music’s tiles
Curious eyes, small budded nose
cream tinted skin, pink cheeks aglow.

They live near boles of ancient trees
Drink nectar from a hollowed seed
They climb the stems of hollyhocks
They twitter but will rarely talk.

So when you take a morning stroll
pause beside to a sun-lit knoll
The calls you hear mightn’t be birds
and cricket strums won’t mimic words.

The visitors arrive and I must bear
Their comments are not that I really care.

I stare at them as they would stare at me;
Until they break the ice, act so beastly.

Listen to their litany of abuse,
"Look well, her eyes are closed, having a snooze?"

"Isn't this an invert of a known painting?"
"Nice auburn hair though she looks like fainting."

"Not as good as Mona, now that's a dear."
I cannot understand why they come here.

They dare compare me to that wanton lass
How many men know she was sick, alas?

Finally, they leave except for one man.
I know that I can return his love for me.

If it were in my power down I'd come
Leave this mural, on his lips and kiss him some.

The painter draws our love and endeavour,
Happy; we'll be each other forever.

If our love is a sin, then heaven must be full of such tender and selfless sinning as ours— Radclyffe Hall

Explore themes of love and identity
Of Stephen Gordon’s innate sense of masculinity
Since a child, her desire, ‘women’
The idea that if love is considered a sin
The unfolding of a female sexual invert
The act of loving must be a tender selfless act, revert?
Love itself is not inherently sinful or
complexities of love, we shan’t ignore
But rather the circumstances surrounding it
Misfits from Malvern to London and then to Paris!
Ira furor brevis, the frailty, taboo and strife
Fellow q***r characters, all walks of life
From the *sapphic salon hostess Valérie Seymour
To the 'miserable army' and more
of outcasts that frequents the 'merciless
Drug-dealing, death-dealing' bars of Montmartre
Written in another time, still support and solidarity to
generations of LGBTQ genre

*Sapphic is an umbrella term for same-gender loving women or woman-aligned people, including lesbians and bisexual+ women. It is used to describe topics, activities, and ideas related to same-sex attraction among women. The term can also refer to the Greek lyric poet Sappho.

Darkness State of Mind

Darkness state of mind

Darkness can be state of mind,
And sadness makes you sort of blind,
Although the sky is grey as grime,
Weak brained tripe, here needs attention.

Does magpie smother find you weak,
You raise your voice and only squeak,
Think you’re fat or thin, now bloody tweak,
Cool dude, by re invention!

Self worth is driven down,
Actor you, invert the frown,
Jabbering jaw jockeys from the town?
Step on for thy ascension,

Negative voice is sorted here,
Act the part, become , sincere,
Personality gets set free,
Jibber jabber just like me,
And walk like Jack the lad!

Don Johnson 27-Aug-11

John S
Jabbering jaw jockeys pull you down,
so climb upon em, cause em frown,
be the strongest spirit, clown,
and rise above the chaos!

The Numbers Game

Ten trillion galaxies up there, down there, around here
Each with one hundred billion stars, give or take
Can you wrap your head around an octillion?
All I need is one civilization that gets it right
Just one in an octillion, plus a spaceship, that's it

Not for me, the expansive vistas afforded those who sit
Atop a nation-sized pile of human wreckage
Three hundred million strong and breeding
Sipping Maggies and smoking Castros
Poisons to poison the perception of poisoning

The dog is so very done with the pony
My millionth micro-apotheosis
will not make me any more divine
than I already am, just more enshrined
The wooden boy will always be wooden

No, your institutionalized parasitism is for someone
Who wouldn’t slowly suffocate
On the ashes of that which cannot nourish
My roots require a different soil
So many starving at the Kool Aid and Twinkie buffet

The ten thousand ways I’ve died to be reborn
Ten-thousand and one mini-reincarnations
Not one courtesy of this benighted domain
Praise be to all that is not this invert realm
The sublime countercurrent opposing all that is worldly

Humility is unshrining of the self-statue
Shovel away the foul cement before it hardens
No I absolutely cannot play the game
Of hubris, your oh so tasty damnation
if I stand still the poisons will stop draining
And then what of my heart?

If you think all this blabbering is pointless
You shoulda heard what I was saying
Seven or eight addictions ago
Because that’s another fetid pile of wreckage
It’s progress, not perfection

You can just beam me up anyway

Gym Fraud

All the gym's a stage
And all the pale boys merely players;
Unconvincing ones, too.

At the theatre entrance
I part with pride
For a curious form of Vaudeville.

The maxims of inertia invert.
No longer are the masters
Of the ruling class.

To make up for their deficit,
They perform:
Cackle, strut, and prance disgustingly,
Strive insensitively to sound “street,”
To be street.
(Street actors.)

It must be black magic
To float over concrete,
To steer balls
Into circles.

Audience: the girls and I,
But especially
The dark magicians themselves,

Who either sponsor their imitators,
Or disapprove and sneer.

Cheated of my cash again,
I hurry backstage
And recognize the actors
Without their costumes,
Sporting familiarity: Hollister, Jansport, Abercrombie.

The bell rings; they exit;
The shoe polish
Washes off their faces;
They morph
Into rich white boys
Once more.

Premium Member Sadness

Invert unhappiness,
Sadness enters stealthily
In my bitter heart.
It plans to stay there.

All around are dying leaves.
It is the last of the Fall.
Soon my heart is entering winter,
Icicles forbid warmth,
Isolation all round.
And I feel the chill and loneliness.

Ideal strategy
Increase happiness
Can I invoke my best memories?
Perhaps its dementia that is my downfall.

Burning Woman

Burning Woman

I am watching
her embodied animation;
in exaggerated intonation.
Lightning ricochets about
in eyes
threatening to ignite my addiction.

I wish she would share her fire.

Brows invert; speech sharpens
A needle into my skull.

She is right, as always.

But this humble fuel will remain cold.

Then at night, when lights burn low,
I am left to rub sticks together
shoot inconsequential sparks.
Nothing will ignite her
until Morning comes.

Genetalia and Gender

Does she want her very own vagina?
Yes, M to F trans girl...
Does she really really want a vagina?
It's like wanting to invert your fingers to
Make a mouth... No air could get through...
It wouldn't be able to speak...
But I'm sure you could get it to move
Well enough that you could lip sync...
Dress it up in drag and perform.... Not that
Vaginas perform... Welllllll... Never mind

Does he want to be a girl ?
Yes, M to F trans girl.
Does he really really want to be a girl?
To many, it's like saying you are gonna transition
To become a dog...
"So I've started barking... its gonna
take a while until I sound just like a dog...
I go to the plastic surgeon next week
To get my tail... I've started peeing on the
Bushes... Will you walk me on a leash?"

Fact: When babies are born, we decide if
they are a boy or a girl according to
Their genitalia... All of a sudden,
liberals tell people that genitalia
doesn't determine gender...
We are confusing the common person,
And at times, it even confuses me...

So if she looks like a man in a dress, why
Should she be offended if people confuse
Pronouns? If they knew her as a man her
Entire life, how can she expect them to
Transition with her when it took her this
Long just to confront the fact that she may
Be a girl, and she hasn't even tried on a dress
Yet...?

This is a song from their perspective.
I get that others don't understand. But
before you slaughter everyone who doesn't
comprehend, please look at the fact that
that you didn't understand it for a long time
either, it's why it took you so long to come out.
If this pisses you off, you've lost compassion
for many of the people who may be your allies
if you'd just know that our culture has trained
us incorrectly. It's not an attack or a threat,
This is the stress of change. Forgive us.

Alga Rhythms

Juxtaposition,
Of ever-changing moments:
In dynamic love.
·
Emotions invert,
Colliding interfaces:
Of lost pulsing time.
·
Progressive attempts,
Indefinable feelings:
Of the human bond.
·
Opposed through the mess,
And in the dynamic end:
We mesh together.

Moments upon the loom of time woven
Eternally imprinted 'pon the print
Memories cling, never spent, now frozen
Operate the loom, change design's intent

Reverse the hands of time memories change
Invert the negative read love's design
Everlasting His perfect will's plan
Slipped, falling into sin man was resigned

Offer life up as a living sacrifice
Follow Him away from sins' tangling lure
Let love reign over heart, flee avarice
Oarsman of my craft let me in thee moor

Values of this life now become peace, love
Eternally woven threads draw close my Dove

Premium Member Invert Polarity

Invert polarity
of mind-body with space,
that subject-object merge
in singularity,
giving rise to bliss surge.

Invert polarity
of fears and dark desires,
two sides of the same coin,
rooted in attachments ~
let’s with silence rejoin.

Invert polarity
by going in, within,
in thought rested stillness,
simply by letting go,
entwining with oneness.

Invert polarity,
by ceasing to resist,
making our heart porous,
receptive to God’s love,
felt as a bliss torus.

And I'm bilingual, but I'm sure you know where I stand

But invert to your other end
Most assuredly you'll be much more in demand

Longanimity

Longanimity stretches a sowers grit for CROPS
actuality, albeit, can likewise be ones, calm, cool,
collectivity as the bounty of the reapers' CHOPS,
sublimity achieves nature advances as its jewel.

TESTS question one's prospect of forbearance
while tackling the crisis giving an appearance
BEST'S a favorable triumph of transparence
file away any despair entitling perseverance.

Impassiveness spread an outlet of snug DOORS,
abstractedness harps on focus, hard to fathom
jaggedness being unclear like peace and WARS,
disingenuousness, apathy, or idle our phantom.

POWER inspires valor to meet jeopardy, fortitude
being such intros a key to the crux, bid latitude,
EMPOWER one's gut to safeguard, ne'er subdued
freeing tribulation via best beliefs as its prelude.

Stoicism, Hellenic integrity of pleasure or PAIN,
prism of sorts to veer a beam or invert an image
schism hence lacks objection, curiosity ABSTAIN
escapism from reality treats a sublime vicinage.

ACTS of noble goals, confront peril, magnanimity
breeds one's bigheartedness forward, generosity
MAX the merits as concerns swamp, equanimity
seeds grounds to endure, merciful re longanimity.
