i am the twisted sister of a twister
lava lady just learning to boil
my words erupt
yes they are mine
no matter the language
age or blasphemy
i will bid and they will obey

the garnet blood of passion
be it love or otherwise
will spread its intoxicating infusion
to heat the feeble mind to intensities
that will make the priest weep in his vows
and down in the dives where the hip grinding
sweat soaking miasma of lust cradles
blues will be reborn

I am the queen bee dripping with honeyed pearls
she who scratches with a stick in mud
plays keys full of white lightening
here to spread sweet hot spice
on a gray woolsock world.

Premium Member Second Coming of Age

The second coming of age,
is like the
softened beauty
of the color  s a g e;
rich in Indian summer warmth
graced with shades and shines
of too many noons and moons to count
savvy and savory… seasoned
with salted depth and perception.

No longer a blur of girlish green...

rather,
the continuum of time,
has weathered colors;
fine-tuning mindful hues -
balancing contrasts and intensities,
blending and smoothing
the not-so-gently honed edges
of life's tints and tones.
Continuance creates a mature perspective
worthy of viewing a canvas
painted from a palette of gold and rust.

Yes,
the burnished beauty
of the color s a g e,
like the second coming of age,
is easy to take.
The grass green pigments of colorful youth
are muted by mistakes.

For wisdom gained,
the price is paid
in the aged
and ripened patina
of the color
s a g e ~

my second coming of age.

Before the Moment Passes

Two spirits of passions
From ever separating worlds

Watching and hoping with intensity

Drifting on winds of nowhere
Tracings of comfort and familiarity

Fearing the change that arrives with risk

Ignoring pangs in exchanges of nothings
Yet there exists a sweet fervor between them

That unyielding thirst of eternal desiccation

Two souls of this fiery desire
From existence so indistinct

On parallel journeys reaching for the one another

Admittance revering nature’s truth
Building intensities more than either cares to confess

Each wanting to stake all for a chance…silence prevailing

Passing the eons of eternities boundaries
No end in sight of this voiceless duel of pride

Begging inside to grapple the moment before it passes

Two spirits of passion
From ever separating worlds

If to chance a moment’s gaze to see that they truly are one

Cry Me a River

Examining the measure of my calamity
I grow resentful and I inflict pain
Seeking to surrender all that possesses me
I lash out at the innocent which discloses my shame
I reach out
The intensities of my suffering I shelve out
Because my quantity is so immense

I become incoherent
Chaos is my universal place
My ferociousness becomes timid
Eternity my expected release date

Society has snatched me by the choker
My community flames an uproar
Makes me want to cry…. Makes me want to holler
What are we fighting for!?

Each morning I rise to the same ole tune
The classic sound
Of the lowdown blues

I have not delivered my hopes or my dreams
My objectives along with my ambitions have went from flares to flickers
To face another tomorrow makes me quiver
I am distressed about authenticating my history

Cry me a river!

The Gift of Magic

Some people think I’m a
normal person; I appear
to be that way, but deep
within me lies bubbling
energy, warm like a crackling
fire far hidden from view;
its embers glow red like
blood that does not flow.
I know many words that seem
far apart from the world but
still they dominate my mind
like waves on the open sea.
They can cause harm or
simply heal the meanest of
injuries; even cursed bites
from creatures that only
whispers can provoke.
My hands can create swirls
of light, fire, wind or
earth but all of differing
intensities.
Magic brews within me;
some say it is a gift while
others condemn it like something
to be considered sinful and wicked.
Still, I have magic brewing within
me and nothing on this earth
can change that; is it a curse?
I do not know.
Magic will be cryptic and forever
concealed but someday, like the dark
surrendering to light, I will share
the gift of magic with everyone regardless
of common spite.

Concerned Christian environmentalists truthfully believe God created the life forms inside the oceans, lakes and seas. He left mankind a legacy, he was suppose to be responsible for these marine life species. It is of utmost importance people listen to dedicated groups such as 350 Degrees.

Other countries and other municipalities. have either banned or restricted plastic shopping bags. But restriction and banning in the United States is accomplished by mainly municipalities. It is my prayer that the City of Everett joins them. I phoned Olympia's legislative hotline 1-800-562-6000. And left them this message banning those plastic bags city by city takes much too long.

Where did most of our plastic garbage end up? In other nations of the world, and they have had enough! They believe we created it and should be held responsible for its clean up. Those bags are non-biodegradable and are potentially harmful. They are rapidly filling up our over crowed landfills.

Haven't we had enough of turning our oceans, lakes and seas into human plastic garbage dumps? Because of human wanton carelessness, soon this planet will become inhabitable for even us. How many marine sea life must die? How many fish, and clams and other food sources of man, live on plastic?

People are becoming concerned about recycling of plastic. It is only possible if the products recycling labels have numbers one or two. Products can only be recycled once! You do not have to believe me, but you need to listen to 350 Degrees.

Our polluted oceans are rapidly becoming warmer leading to increased hurricanes, floods and tornadoes. Natural and man made disasters are occurring with more frequency and intensities. Covering a wide disaster range, and displacing its victims. Those people are facing their problems by faith in Jesus Christ. Neighbors and churches are helping each other!

Love as always!

The Night Train

Lines of steel stale with rust
Eavesdropping on former voices
That echo long forgotten stories
Of Hobo's and their riding blind choices

Rails drumming a steady pulse
Somewhere between thunders deafening pitch
And piercing squeals of halting mass
A symphony of the bankrupt enriched

Majestic the night trains roll on by
Setting my senses on edge
Lowered gates on lights red flash
Flashbacks of rail miles dredged

Ethereal I feel when standing near
Every time her whistle blows
I stand in awe of its seasons and scenes.
Endless travelers empowered by coal

The caller summons the switchmen's lantern
As band of men would alter your course
Car upon car coupled together
By the strength of human hands they were forced

Tracks and trusses drape our country like a morning yawn
Graffiti tags your box's, spraying their territorial scent
These sounds and sights of history in motion
Reveals the sad distance of a chronicled descent

From your earliest beginnings
You've captured hearts of man and his soul
Inspiring sages and meager labored wages
From stack to track let your steel wheels roll

Nostalgic romantics like me will feed
Like the orphan touched with hunger
Not for the substance of your varied freight
But to fly as your envied conductor

Your sight, your sounds, your smell and taste
They burn with intensities fire
Heightened reminders that we're alive
Driving us to reach ever higher

And so the night train
Majestic in power
Roll on roll on
In virtues endowment to inspire

High alpine meadows are dusted with wildflowers,
And the faraway horizon is outlined with craggy mountain peaks,
Half-asleep lights blink through the sun-painted mist,
The sunrays dip at varying angles and intensities,
creating mixed moods and mysteries ~
It feels good to be up at dawn.

Seems a thousand hidden bird voices are singing,
A morning symphony created just for this sweet special moment,
I walk a narrow path that takes me to woods,
The air is softly scented with nature's delicate perfume,
And everything is so lush and green ~
As if touched with magical dust.

The sky has become a divine clear azure blue,
The sun is bathing everything in her golden glow including me,
Soon, I am back in the wildflower meadow,
With all the wildflower colors swaying sweetly in the wind
The mountains high above inspiring ~
I could stay right here forever.

Hearts Of Rusted Iron And Cold Steel

Riding along paths of illusions, glory bound-
Men with steel and fever in hard beating hearts,
Minds driven by deep desires and aching pains
Emotions deeper than anger's greatest depths-
Souls with sharpened sabers in their polished scabbards
Careful in their pride, they nourished goulish intensities
Upon spirited horses, they gallop into hell's darkest dins
With courage of demons loosed by the devil's own hands-
In the force of ages, iron blood rising to claim
At the price of death and hot savage burnings
Rare treasures men seek but can never find.

Should life rest within their grasping claws
They that know only darkness and evil desires
Greedy that nothing slips through their paws!

What of the poor and weak, hiding in modern caves
And the innocent that cry for sweet relief
And homes, peaceful in their decaying cities
And children, eager to live life and learn
And Nature's unending course filled with wonder
And the world's promises of forever tomorrows
Shall fate stand aside to bend to that dark will
Shall wicked deeds serve these gods of lust.

When time and its destruction allow such victories
Hope comes as an illusion of death's rewards
Can mankind, find another path for survival
Or will dark tragedy and loss of all prevail?

Premium Member Lighthouse Am I

Amidst waves with their varied intensities

Beyond disasters and catastrophes

Contending and prevailing over calamities

Determined am I to do my mission for seafarers

Effectively warning against ocean-caused wreckage

Fulfilling my role as good guide...

Guarding and governing toward right route

Here I stand formidably, helping save precious lives

Influencing triumphant navigational moves

Journeys are made safe and secured by my presence

Kindness of my beam radiates the Sovereign Director's might

Lighthouse* am I at your service

Magnificently reflecting the Lord's brightness...

Never, never ignore me then!!!

Twilight

Far away from the rhythmic pace of the seas, drifting currents in the rivers,
Lost in echoing glitters of the oceans
Over the challenges of the mountains, gliding suspensions brought by the hills
Lingering for renewal in the forests and aging presences of thoughts sent by the valleys,
The souls amidst the dust of earth
Moments shared as unending intervals emerge
Autumn forces that reckon, winter songs that beckon
The timeless lime lights, the midnight fireflies
Spirits of echoing silence, the template for the gift of musical convergence
The rushing wind, the shivering trees, the scent of earth’s rebirth
As reviving sounds surrender, the leaves whisker and foster
The clouds to breathe easy, succumb, refreshing
Energies in spaces, shock waves of the air, gradually disperse
In fumes effervescent, shapes and sizes reminiscent
Dissolving soluble, feelings of the impossible, submerging essences deliquescent
Whispers of the blur, shadows of nature, the fortunes of creation
The moon's resignation for the starlight triggers of the sunset
Recurring realignments of prisms,
Color spectrums,
Motions in perfect unison,
Resonant spaces,
Endless limits,
Patient deficits,
Speed of momentums,
Wavelengths and intensities,
Diffractions,
Refractions,
Reflections,
Initiation of beauty,
The music of love that ever conforms
Befalls the twilight
As the dawn diminuends
Before the fragments of twilights arrive~ return
Eventually crescending to perform.

Beaten Up

Strange sounds strike
In the heart can create a spike
Nerves also under pressure

Portrait

Through shades of life in subtle hues
Faded eyes invite imbedded memories,
Half hidden behind a worn visage
Where dreams still dance to celebrate a milestone,
Entwined in lost days of once up a time times,
Layered serene moments of rest invoking
A tranquil touch overlaid with the heavenly;
Quiet now the hands on life’s tiller,
Noise of the wounded spirit
Blotted out by wisdom gained in tinted ashen turmoil,
The pilgrim sits, interludes dance in crosshatch
Embraced, abiding in sacred values beckoning
A captured chroma in still life subtle serenity
Blended reveries reveal the pale intimate,
Stories stored in the compressed soul,
As deep lines of passing years soften – fade away –
In color palettes mixed with ochre joy and slate tears
Waiting for the next breath filled with treasures,
Softened intensities to burst through grey tones -
The soul’s pastel breath captured – released - unchained.
