Premium Member World We Can Be Proud Of

In splendor of meadows gentle winds blow
As traversing high-low mighty rivers flow
And sun never sets as blue skies ever glow--
Seasons bloom there, ample crops grow
And peaceful are domains where birds roam
Devoid of trepidation from famine or foe.

Frolic in playgrounds where children laugh,
Grown-ups always walk tranquil serene paths,
Intellect prevails as wisdom outlaws wars
And across oceans extend gallant helping hands
As enduring love fuels brotherhood at large.

Divine is fortitude of eight billion strong
From all faiths, colors, cultural backgrounds
Striving in unison for solemn human cause:
To rid of what divides--seek common ground.

We trade, we innovate, we build, we believe
We share, we live, let every nation be
We learn, we educate, respect one another
We argue, we listen, and confer with honor--

Such is global paradigm of model new world.

Consistency

"Consistency"
by:  Eric L. Boddie

Contemplate, debate hate
Rate state magistrates
Mate great fates
Wait....date late
Deflate straight weight
Emancipate inmate traits
Dissipate irate gates
Indicate!  Investigate!  Litigate!
Incarcerate?  Degradate?  Incinerate?
Rejuvenate!  Captivate!  Demonstrate!
Innovate!  Motivate!  Fascinate!
Anticipate!  Dedicate!  Articulate!
Communicate....congratulate....exonerate
Infiltrate....penetrate....interrogate
Implicate!  Detonate!  Annihilate!
Separate?  Segregate?  Disintegrate!

Today S Woman

TODAY’S WOMAN

A column can scaffold a back that is enervated.
We as women will burden ourselves with hate.
That is we will take on another’s disintegration.
All in that business is a mess.
It becomes our plight to fix.
We sing our songs while we take on the world.
We continue to overwhelm ourselves.
When we know anything, we have achieved success.
This is a formidable woman’s road map.
The lines she follows gets her there.
Intense in thought and with mind involved she forms the stratagem.
Her purpose is to inform the world.
Her future is, therefore, passed on to next baby girl.
Imminence is still yet to come.

Unless the world is in a formation discovery, we are backward spiraling.
The diffident disguises our lack of unity.
How obtrusive we are.
A conspiracy is inferred.
Reticent is unreserved.
We are a political powerhouse that must be robust.
We as women are the conditions of our home front.
We must disallow polluted waters from the wounds that bleed.
We must not be garrulous in our activism.
Cagey old women we will become.
When there is a reason, we must step-to-the-cause,
Insofar as our souls and spirit are intertwined,
As we segment, we can inspire all women to intermingle for support of universal health where women help each other to move forward.
For those aforementioned, our draft has been self-possessed.
We are women of potential acclimatization to invigorate, innovate, and to inform.
We are tomorrow and the future forthcoming.

I created one type of writing in the form of a prose and a poem combined. Very similar to the Japanese version of a Haibun, only that in this type of writing I need not to set a standard of making the poem appear or sound only as haiku. One to three lines or even up to ten lines in a stanza (rhymed or unrhymed) as a poem, before or after the prose (flash story or anecdote of your interest) will do. Any form of poetry can be combined or added in or within the prose itself. I call it "Prosebite."

  The prose need not to be too short nor too long, so long as the readers can comprehend the kernel or message of the prosebite.

  A bite of any form of poetry and a chunk of writing in prose.

  A combination of two or three (or even four) different forms of poetry can also be considered as prosebite. It is your way of expressing yourself.
Your perspective matters.

Prosebite is what you write
In form of a poem-piece anywhere.
With a prose somewhere,
With or without too many rhymes to kite.

No numbering or syllabication in lines
No stricter rules to follow between the lines.
Structure is what you do in a prosebite
Create and innovate your own bite.

Hailed haiku and haibun, we conformed
The way structures were formed.
We followed standards and rules as known
But somehow we can create our own.

Premium Member Answer Me This

Americans have overcome many great trials,
But harbor too some persistent denials.
Stubbornly clutching long-held positions,
Over time have become national traditions.
Pride in the sanctity of individualism,
Elevates in stature, creating a schism.
Unresolved core beliefs, rationalization,
Test the thinking of this citizen nation.

Answer Me This:
Why do so many use the credo that "the ends justify the means"?

Knowing that this is not always true is not a revelation.
Similarly, two wrongs do not make a right.
Provisional right and wrong are practically necessary.
Short-term gain cannot be exchanged sacrificing long-term integrity.

Answer Me This:
Why can't we resolve gender, race, religious, age and sexual orientation biases and discrimination?

Most of the world understands, we lag behind.
Nearly 7 billion people think of us as one human family.
Much of America still does not agree.

Answer Me this:
Why can't we balance individual self interest and collective interest equitably?

When individual interest substantially effects the health and safety of the collective, it must give way.

Answer Me This:
Why does our foreign policy say "my enemy's enemy is my friend"?

This faulty logic does not allow that the enemy's enemy may be another enemy.
This can lead to dire diplomatic consequences.

All these basic questions are easy to dismiss,
Eventually representing an intellectual abyss.
Our people have shown courage under duress,
Demonstrating kindness to others and selflessness.
Our ability to think, innovate, create,
Is really no matter for international debate.
The world sees our achievements one must confess,
Over centuries no other rivals America's progress.
So why, after all, can't you answer me this,
These things that we do and continually miss?

Child Labour

"CHILD LABOUR "
Please do me a favour ,
Ruin the acts of child labour;
Soft hands which have to take pencil,
You classify them under worker's council;
Let's pump the education in mind,
Train them to innovate ideas they need to find;
Everyone once go grocery shop,
Somewhere any kid working under official top;
Nourishment is the first step to proceed,
Working a child one should better retreat;
Don't make them the mode of money,
Young minds like bear, fetching knowledge as honey;
Working age men are completely in glut,
Child doing the same is simply absurd;
Bring a sweet smile on lovely face,
A smile which has an everlasting trace;
They also have dreams which aren't fake,
Let them transform into reality they make;
Outburst the perspicacity in every kid,
Child labour is a crucial issue one has to get rid;
Youths are the forerunners of the country,
We commit crime making them work in sultry;
Worse gets when any child is infected,
You get annoyed if productivity is affected;
We know how good our jurisdiction,
Corruption everywhere as bad addiction;
Shape a better future for the nation,
Make this disease result into termination;
Abuses coming from their heart's shore,
Convert this to blessing by changing course;
We can't earn respect on such huge cost,
Let's melt the ice which got frost;
It is an epidemic malfunction running everywhere,
Some of us making it chronic,be aware;
We are strong,we can't surrender,
Egregious error infront of us,it's ocular;
Why we are becoming phlegmatic?
Change we need,change should be drastic;
Wash every single pain from sweet hearts,
We have to stop this, we have to guard.

Way To Great India

Let's change India the way we need,
Let's make a Great India so that others praise our deeds;
Stop discrimination between the ruling and opponent one,
Time for us to have a new India born;
Our forefathers may not be happy with us,
Is it the same India they dreamed in their years?
Who say the Constitution follow equality,
Opportunity to source one,corrupt one who can sell their nationality;
Riches are more respected than who are honest,
The nature of numbness to injustice where resides the best;
Where corporate-politician nexus aim to make people poor,
Where religion is used as medium of income by money-makers;
A nation which was the country of trade,agriculture,traditions and culture,
A nation which is the country of poverty,corruption and nonsense vultures;
Is this the scenario viewed by Bhagat Singh,Bose,Azad and Patel?
Where judiciary and ordinances every now and then fails;
Is this the country shaped by Ashok and Akbar the Great?
Where mediocre s and appointed delegates compels the citizens to have their
works wait;
Complains are made by weaker,
Let we the complaint-makers rise up and work forever;
Work forever to make India economically stable,
Work forever to rise up India from poverty liner;
Educate India to bring new talents from everywhere,
Inspire India to innovate ventures for one-on-one fight with international level;
Make a secular India as religion never teaches bad things to us,
Religion's guidance make people not to be barbarous;
Stop the tears of ancestors who worked hard to make a good India,
Carry on their qualities and pass it with more good qualities to next India;
Celebrate Diwali to wish for presence of Goddess Laxmi in the family,
Wishing money and getting it illegally will be life of unsatisfactory and guilty;
Celebrate Dussehra wishing to have good nature,
Wishing a life of richness will bring a future filled with nothing but failure;
Start from today as it's now or never,
Imaging a Glorified India whose stories will be told forever.

Restructuring the Education System

Cried loud all "innovate or perish" all around the World
Why not the education which gives the greatest mould

Primary , Secondary and Tertiary are the steps to consume our life
This system is age old not have any logic with the time rife

Mature are the minds today before their age
Then why You Educationist let their brain waste over page

Think twice and RETHINK, REKINDLE the Hope
Education is stepping stone not a joke

Let the death-knell takes its toll on the past
Rest assured, Children will fly high without a mast

So restructure, redesign redefine the system
That makes the life , CARPE DIEM!!!

J K Rowling

As potential grew, a desire to write, disclosed to few

Imagination immerse, but yet to thirst for knowledge, accrued ambition address

All aboard the express, thoughts of Harry, a plot to marry

From fanciful flights to greater heights

Capturing such visualisation, twas the formation

Characterisation, of wings to soar, with metaphor

From Dumbledore, yet taking shape

Professor Snape, assume the plot, lest thoughts forgot

A forest to roam, a philosophical stone

Such creative flair of which to share

Joining of the dotted line, artistic mind

Transporting train, journeyed acclaim

Of whom to impede, the will to succeed

The ability to write, the capacity to teach, the desire to reach

An impetus for change, a literary role, a priority

Of which to seek with tenacity

Beyond horizons, beyond confines, stand undefined

Awe-inspire, great readership, a due reply

To simplify, a noble shift, outstanding writer in the midst

Dynamic plot from pen to page, persistence through to published stage

A realised dream, challenge overcome

A victory won definably, stocked supplies to library

Broomstick flight phenomenon, a mystical tale was to become

Would generate, the bus of Knight, to render right

A rebuilt life, a legacy made

From chosen craft to final draft, a world of creativity

The right to type, to innovate, an intriguing wait

A shining star that would liberate

Premium Member Things You'D Teach Your Child

Children exceed the doves that we were given.
They are graces sent forth from God in heaven.

Despite one's capacity to innovate and teach,
Dawn facts to tutor, given in eloquent speech.

Wisdom gained in life radiates alike the sun.
But recall the spirit of self, literacy, and fun.

Relish the moon calmly; don't let hiccups swoon.
Never let your spirit wane alike a morning moon.

Keeping one's mind and emotions in harmony
We feed you with flame straight from the armory.

Have ethics and treat all with care and fairness.
God's trust will bear you a deeper awareness.

While twirling life, don't ignore fresh food or vitamin.
Adopt care of yourself, and never drive after Heineken.

You should dress how you feel most comfortable.
Don't strain as another; clones are unremarkable.

Study enough for it, but not so much as to panic.
A fresh crew offers hope for the modern Titanic.

Never let others sway you; rather, follow the breeze.
Blend kindness and brawn alike waving flowers of trees.

Such as clay, be calm, and don't let emotion bury you.
Be selfless in the aid of those who follow you through.

We are affluent only when our feelings are healthy.
Be humble in glory, gentle in grief, glad, and stealthy.

Set aside some quiet time to pray every night.
Life will strike you with grief, so tackle it and fight.

A Flame Once Burned

A Flame Once Burned

The new girl gathered her books as the class bell did ring
That’s when I noticed my heart’s spark began to fling
I followed her to physical Ed
I wanted to say hi but my boldness fled
Shafted by my own lack in doubting
Afraid her truth sparks would be most disheartening
Next to the fire extinguisher the cafeteria door I did wait
Fueling flame of passion my thoughts which did innovate
I spied her and lingered the more inflamed
But the bow’s arm she tightly did clang
Sadly diminished my heart’s heaping flame
I stood at the door as she and he did pass
This flame which once burned seemingly did not last
Sadden and chard what had flamed so brightly
I bowed my head to walk away drably
But oh, I now gaze upon a most delightful redhead
Perhaps the flame again for her could instead

Power of the Mind

Power of the Mind.

The power of the mind is to innovate, bring up good ideas
It has the ability to change your life
It gives one a chance to believe in themselves when others are doubting him/her.
The power of the mind gives growth to an individual
These are the good qualities of the mind if one is positive.

The power of the mind can take another direction through negativity.
It's true what you think is what you come of at the end.
The mind can kill, lie, murder, fornication, jealously
The power of the mind is what you think of, so try your best to be positive and stay strong
Pray that you may have a positive mind.

The Race Remix Part 2

Dealt the hands of fate
A dollar short and day too late

Checkmate
Your ship is sank

Grab you by your cape
With haste
Then followed yellow tape
And not a single trace

Looked them in their face
Then put them in their place

Those who instigate
And discriminate
I eliminate

Same with if any that imitate
And implicate
Then toward them I liquidate

My eye on people when they manipulate
And vitiate
I'm ready to assassinate

Let me articulate
I'm out to innovate
And assimilate
Don't make me reiterate

Before I dissipate
What better time is there to illustrate?

The great escape
And great debate

Lifting  and pushing weight
Willing to undertake
It's all there to make
Lock it away in a safe
And put the rest in the bank
Keep a full gas tank
And work hard toward having an estate
With a keypad at the gate
As well as a pool the size of a lake

Home made cake
Veggies and meats barbequed or baked
Filling up the plate, with or without lobster and steak

An ever increasing rise in the birth rate
Music from the speakers rattling windows like an earthquake
Success on the first take
The blunt was rolled well and burned great

In the past seeds beginning to germinate
Then a certain scent started to permeate

Avoid all the drama
Got to add up more commas
Burning through potent ganja
If I gotta I wanna beat the case
Until the case is beat
They can take a seat
Because it all ended up being a waste
Of time and quite the disgrace

On the chase
A near endless race
Barely ever hitting the brakes
Picking up the pace
Got to get first instead of last place
From here on ground level or up in space

Too transparent and opaque
Not going to shake
The hand of any snake
Or flake

Got to keep the faith
One day ill buy or test drive a wraith
