Best Idyllic Poems
The soul becomes peaceful
at the first breath of spring
The clouds float effortlessly and easily
under the whole firmament
lets me drift along in wonder
Soft white chubby newborn lambs
as angelic children with fluttering ribbons
fur dressed in pretzel spin
Intoxicated where the seconds tick by
The stream runs rippling by the mill
in lively laughter and passionate happiness
lovely and idyllic to the eye

- Idull is a free pass to peace of mind - quote from poet
When peach colors swell in the evening sky
an moment in a spiral of color
Sharing my adventures in the silence
In my smallness between heaven and earth
a silent song becomes a symphony
I admitting my inadequacy
behind the curtain of humility
It falls as jewels on my path tonight
Idyllically near eternity
wish to hold on to this flawless moment
A new day blossoms
Strolling with us
Beneath purple arc
Holding hands of dawn
In ruby, gold sunrise
Yellow roses shine
Summer’s vibrant smile
Birds that know us well
Twitter song of romance
From fiery red maple tree
That hosts their dance
While daffodils sway
Moods of amber winds
For monarch butterflies
Blazing red daisies adorn
Side-walks on our path
Lilies-- ruby, pink, white
Vie for your grinning sight
Gazing the blue skies
Where a bald eagle flies
Ubiquitous scenic vistas
Lose us in pristine vibes
Alluring verdant appeal
Of forest-green canopies
Breezing whistling winds
Amidst idyllic tranquility
Beckoning us incessantly

"Having grown up in an idyllic village, I consider myself as blessed. I was rid of all rigid formalities of urban living. Enjoyed the artless innocence of countryfolks, breathed fresh air, occasionally pranced through wilderness, talking to wildflowers and butterflies" - By Poet
There’s nothing like the lovely rustic charm,
Sent out by far flung lush green country farm.
Where trees in glee sweep heaven with their crown,
And songbirds, the surrounding valley drown.
There the air, fresh and sweet like forest glade,
And Heaven blesses rich, the country wide.
Where the rural folk in their toil and pride,
With their artless and modest life reside.
To such idyllic bliss, I long to go,
Where life like a silent river shall flow.
Idyllic Pleasure (Anacreontic Verse)
Laughter and delight
under a blue sky
on the verdant bank
of a bubbling stream
where luscious food
dulcet and divine
tempts taste buds
teeming with desire
while wine flows freely
like the roaming hands
and ardent kisses
of indulgent youths
lured by spring’s warmth
to an ebullient
effervescent mood
where inhibitions
slither unrestrained
in rumpled heaps
as latticed lacing
yields to deft touch
and the setting sun
shyly reticent
slides behind the hills
in a blushing haze
of purple and red.

With the fragrance of immaculate scents
And halos of cherubic hues around;
Divine thoughts whirl inside me and I vent
Sanguine words that unroll knowledge abound
Glimpses of angelic souls I perceive
Who nudge and empower the wilting mind
Tunes of euphoric rhythms I receive
Which make my unamiable heart kind
Betrayal, here is an outlandish deed
Abhorrence, I have never confronted
With generous minds, also unblunted
Wise people here, spritz gently, largesse seeds
A day I spent in this idyllic place
And so an abiding bliss, I embrace
mountains

I watch fields, as nature
Invites pastoral bliss…
Irises and oaks glow
Imbued with morn’s fresh soil;
Igniting rural charm
In mind’s eye . O hometown
Illumines peace … earth’s gift!

Under golden sky lovers walked hillock
Young and vibrant in tune with perfect life
All was beautiful it was idyllic
No chaos, no turmoil away from strife.
Together they enjoyed wonderful view
Magical landscape took their breath away
Like the passion that gripped them, all was new
Pure love so divine they would never stray.
Decades passed with peaceful prosperity
To age with dignity was their desire
Twilight years were lived with serenity
Remembered always youth's passionate fire.
Memories endure of distant hillock
Reminder of tryst that was idyllic.

I listen on the beach to the cascading waves,
Slapping, tossing the sand pebbles,
Creating, swishing, swashing sounds,
I hear hissing, rustling sounds in the caves.
I see some gliding fishing boats everywhere,
The seagulls soaring, gliding in the air here,
On the horizon floating ships still further,
Surfers trying to get rides on the waves here.
I watch people running strolling and sunning,
The sun is to set on the horizon advancing,
With a promise to rise anew tomorrow,
Like the human ambitions and desires grow.
I notice the crabs scurry somewhere to hide,
The scooping pelicans with mouthful of fish alongside,
Water receding leaving the smooth bed of sand,
All sounds now receding to its minimum end.
Come, Grace, let us get away from the turmoil,
It is the time for us to be in tranquility to coil?

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Hellen Keller
Snow-tipped mountains ranged around the prairie,
Small rivulets wavered down the steep sides,
Spreading nutriments, flourishing flowers.
Bright red poppies, and yellow celandines
Swayed all around, as a balmy breeze blew.
Aiding agile grey geese gracefully glide.
Above the shade of a cluster of oaks.
A few old men tended a flock of sheep,
Most chewed unleavened bread, nibbling on cheese.
Till to a tavern they'd go, to drink beer.

She had a beautiful smile
I was instantly drawn to her
The woman I spoke to
Laughed at my wonder
Took me by the hand
And led me to the middle
I was struck by the lines of green
Under a canopy of vast blue sky
Where farmers were busy
Cultivating the land
She told me she sowed seeds
As she showed me how she thrived
Wrapped in traditional fabric
A mother and a wife
She took me through her joys and sorrows
And led me through mud huts so cool
In the early evening light
Everyone knew each other
Securely bound by common ties
All the woman folk holding children
Stood around to welcome
This city bred stranger
She offered me tea filling common space
That feeling of less stress and noise
Broken by a child who reaches out and cries
I was so touched with the kindness that I found
My feet now touched idyllic ground!

THE HEART IS PRUNED
THE HEART IS THE ART
THE MIND IS THE PEN
THE MIND IS MINE
THE MIND OF A READY WRITER
THE HANDS ARE SKILLED
SKILLS ARE HANDY
EVEN WHEN HE CAN'T VOCALIZE
WHAT HE GROPES TO VISUALIZE
THE THOUGHT EXECUTE PREMEDITATEDLY
THE EXECUTION OF CREATIVENESS
IF HEADS WERE REPLACEABLE
MIND IF I WEAR THIS SAME
WITH ALL THE INTRINSIC ARTISTRIES?
UNASSAILABLE AS THE WEST WIND
ILLUMINATING AND INTENSE AS THE SUN
CHILLY AS THE MOON
THE WINTER'S DROP COLD FURY
SERENE LIKE THE PHLEGMATIC MIND
ERUDITY OF A THESPIAN
THE ECSTASY OF A DEXTEROUS
BUT THE MIND IS MINE
THE MIND WON'T WAIT ON YOU
UNTIL HE BRINGS BACK MY MUSE.
