Premium Member A Cry For Leadership

Who is that brave and noble one I have heard so much about? I saw you standing right next to him in a newspaper report about him. Do you know his agenda, his intentions, and his mission? Where is he, from where did he ascend, and to where is he going? I have heard that he fears neither man nor beast, but has great respect for 'Laws'. Clouds of doom, fear, and gloom hang over our world. So take me to your leader.

I sense that the quest for unity of the 'citizens of the world' is abolishing 'Soveignties'. May our prayers ascend to heaven and may God free us from so many inequities, boiling pots of greed, overflowing pools of political corruption, debaucheries that permeate the atmosphere, and human behavior that's becoming too toxic for habitation. One sign of a good man is that he views constitutions and laws as instruments of sacredness. Evil men loathe laws, and perceiving them as restrictive, change or abolish them at will. I would be so honored to meet and dine with a good man or woman.
So please take me to your leader.

There is so much I need to know about him. So I hope that you have not been sworn to secrecy. He gives all appearance of a giant of a man who longs to be at peace. I have heard that he believes in freedom, justice, and prosperity for all. I have heard he's a good seed, has no greed, and cannot be bought or sold. I have heard that you are close to him, giving him counsel and godly wisdom. It is said of him that he bravely revisits history without becoming a revisionist. The future shall be paved with those who are unafraid of neither today nor yesterday. It seems our world is spent and spineless, and in such demand for true leadership. So take me to your leader.

You are a dear friend of mine, kind and true. So I beg of you, take me to your leader. He need not be grandiose or a wearer of haloes, nor superhuman or unusually charismatic. He need not raise the dead nor walk on water, but perhaps he knows the one who does. Perhaps his ears, eyes, and heart are opened to genuineness and tightly closed to hypocrisy. Perhaps he holds secrets whose revealing time has come, so please take me to your leader.

Excise Exercise 1: Today is the Day

Excise Exercise 1.

Today is the Day she prints out her poems-
a careful first time collation of black and white,
and every color to be seen, in between.
Her Heart clings to words of lost love. And hope.
Which scores are true keepers of internal Self?
In your face front page realities?
Or surreal back page fantasies?
Lies and faith in truth flesh out
skeletal details of a Homeless Heart
living below life on bye-bye ways. And high hi ways.
Out in the open. Vulnerable. Exposed.
Free to go. Free to disappear.
Free to reappear in any frame of mind
between cover, uncover, and undercover.

Finally getting lost...
To be fully found out.

Aqua Marine Pen Umbra Poetry.
26 January, 2024.

I had been working on the concept of "Penumbra" Poetry for a while. Penumbra is a term used to describe the coulour that blends light and shadow to give dimension. Human behavior is often judged "black and white", without adding discernment to deepen understanding. I deeply value those who express deep discernment, fellow feeling, and an acknowledgment of uniqueness, expressed in the creative Poetic minds, old and new, who come here. Thank you to those who read my poems. It is enough to be "seen and heard."
With Faith, Hope, Love. (And the greatest of these is Love.)

Premium Member Christmas Madness

November gray has passed away,
It's now December one.
Time to turn the lights on bright
For our pre-Christmas fun.

The houses in my little town
Are in a competition
To see which one can shine most bright
Without a repetition.

Santa Claus and the eight reindeer
Are climbing towards the sky.
While Mary in her bright blue robe
Sings a sweet lullaby.

Camels and sheep and shepherds
Are scattered all about.
The wise-men with their myrrh and gold
Vie not to be left out.

Opulence and extravagance in
A riot of contention
And trees have suddenly become
The center of attention.

All this is done to celebrate
The birthday of our Savior.
I wonder if He shakes His head
At strange human behavior.

He said we should be like children
And this time of the year
We all become like small children
When His birthday draws near.

I think perhaps he understands,
It's just our way to show
Gratitude for His Gift of Love
Those many years ago.

In Leadership Is Mind

in mind is leadership
               human behavior is the state
                     to rule with perfection
discipline must be instilled with precision

Premium Member KARMA

Before actions go around to come around,
all deeds ascend up that lessons descend down.
Such is the universe’s tried, true policy
as karma has deployed for all of history.

Whether conduct is good, bad or otherwise,
all human behavior meets heaven’s keen eyes.
If we say it, pray it, think it or do it,
it goes up, then down once karma reviews it.

Which Way, Oh Lord

Lack of knowledge causes confusion and division,
That is why there are so many denominations each having an individual vision.
Instead of focusing on the one true issue, “Jesus our Savior,”
They become entwined in serving man, “ call it Human Behavior.”

Each church tries to put its own brand on the way we should serve our Lord,
And that leads us to some areas that may not be fruitful, and could cause us our heavenly
reward.
Man has a way of trying to take over and improve “God’s” holy word,
When all that is asked is our obedience, nothing more should be incurred.

God’s Commandments should be our daily walk,
Delighting ourselves in His Word should be the main subject of our talk.
Taking the straight and narrow is not the easy road to travel and few succeed,
But it is the way our God commands with warnings we must heed.

God says do not take away or add to His word, as so many do in this modern age,
God is never changing and for those that don’t believe will one day encounter, the fury of
His wrath, and the power of His rage.
In His mighty eyes we will all stand naked, everything we’ve ever done exposed,
Not the darkest of our secrets hidden, to God all things on Judgment Day will be disclosed.

Shadowed By Guilt and Shame

Shame must have burned her countenance,
along with fear that gripped her heart;
she’s a woman in the gospel brought into the open,
by those Pharisees and Sadducees in their attempt –
to entrap Jesus on the horns of a dilemma.

Known as legalistic in their respect for the Law of Moses,
they professed as guardians of moral principles;
they claimed as protectors of the Jewish traditions,
however, in truth, they had a wicked motive to ruin Jesus
to discredit him for all the things he’s doing for his own people.

His growing popularity especially to the Jewish men and women,
becomes a raison d’etre to ruin his good reputation;
oh, such a malady that continues to exist through generations,
the seed of original sin – its consequence to human behavior
reflected its aftermath, the evil tendency that is encrusted deep within.

Jesus’ statement, “let him who is without sin cast the first stone,”
made the religious leaders withdraw from the scene and,
starting from the elders they walked away and talked no more;
a sign of shame, an honest reaction to what is shadowed by guilt.

The entire incident focused on Jesus’ endless forgiveness,
his compassion for the woman being bogged down with disgrace;
like a moral stigma, a scarlet letter etched in the hearts of people,
with Jesus she had her past but she also has a future to look forward to.

Just as the prophet Ezekiel says, “I will give you a new heart –
and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone
and give you a heart of flesh . . .” its power and meaning can assure,
God’s love is everlasting; our salvation is his prime concern.

Premium Member When a Martian Landed

A fledgling reporter discovered the story of a lifetime
Tim O’Hara came upon an alien aircraft that had crashed
He took pity on the sole survivor who’d committed no crime
Helping him out of the strange orb that in a barren desert smashed

Tim brought the alien home but his identity concealed
Suddenly living with a bachelor, Uncle Martin was his nickname
For four years we laughed as Martin’s odd behavior was revealed
Tim came to love his new “uncle,” realizing this was no con game

Martin, you see, had been blessed with more than telekinesis
His antennae kept emitting radio station songs and news
To hide them, Martin donned a hat that caused antennae creases
And the scope of human behavior Uncle Martin did bemuse

Bill Bixby and Ray Walton quickly stole my heart away
And as a child I could barely wait for the next episode
Perhaps my favorite show explains the feelings I have today
Belief in life on other planets to this TV show I owed

As the Rain Fell On the Maples

In the very warm May' afternoon,
I decided to take a stroll instead of being blue,
and getting a little adventurous was to discover
another pansy or violet bloom;
these flowers were the precious gifts of a little and frivolous lover,
who gave them to the prettiest ones who loved a boy in pursue:
and as the rain fell on the maples,
they giggled like silly kids hiding their dimples...

And who was listening what they were whispered?
The songbirds that watched them from the dripping, thick branches,
perhaps learning some of the human behavior from the tenderest ones,
who were quite funny and silly, and made great chums;
gitty was a word they did not comprehend,
but happily they chirped to make them glide and dance:
until their enthusiasm and frenzy did fray,
and they stopped, overcome by their fraility...

And would their sentinel's eyes move away and focus
on the unhappy butterflies that failed to flaunt their skills,
on the meadow of dandelions I waited to be chased,
but birds and butterflies flew away to warn me of a foul play:
with the fury of an impeding storm, they jumped on me
and began tickling my bare feet, to make me pay for my teasing;
delirious as a frantic clown, I laughed too hard to beg for mercy,
but they, the clever ones, ran off and left me screaming...

And as the rain fell on the maples, the haw-keyed Weimaraner
came to lick my cheeks, to give me comfort for my defeat,
and he barked and beckoned me to follow him to a nearby hiding:
there the brats were plotting their next michievous scheme
by water-filled balloons and a heap of shaving cream,
as they instructed one another how to surprise me in my retreat;
and as the rain fell on the maples towards early evening,
all their flabby plans came to an end, unable to outsmart their admirer...

Premium Member Living Within

Living within-to-outward is an ideal feel-perspective when
attempting to faithfully navigate the deceptively treacherous
sea of human behavior. Those who initiate living, giving and
breathing life from within, know that peace, love and security
come only from their own core. Living-within-people accept
others and, while willing to comfort, mostly leave them be to
freely and fully tend their own spiritual growth and journey.
Centered within people know that lashing out with anger or
insult is caused by no other, but from somehow falling out of
flow with life. Inward dealing people know that only by turning
within will they find both the cause and remedy to restore rightful
internal order. This soul knows that we cannot make people our
friends, no, for two to know a sincere bond it must mutually
inward-form. Outward-aware people have little to no ability to
disturb within-aware people.

Living outward-to-within is a false feel-perspective when dealing
with faith and emotions. Seekers of outward validation for all felt,
desired and sought, walk blind and far searching among other
personalities, when sight and stillness would tell them all. Those
who initiate life from outward of their own self, expect peace,
security, love and all else ideal to come from the world.
Living-outward-people do not accept taking or rejecting people
as they are, but as they fit or misfit their own expectations for
fulfillment. Truth for those outward-aware is that any anger or
insult they unleash was outwardly caused and requires outward
remedy. All people keep these people in a state of “disturb-able.”
These people believe that we make friends.

One thing that living spiritual truth means is striving to rise above
the insults and accusations of others. Such behavior comes from
inside the source, not the target. If we had to own insults and
carry them around in briefcases, they would have to be carried by
the speaker.

Cat Scratch

Once upon a time, there was a girl who had a cat.
He was a long haired siamese, with eyes of aquamarine and strands of silver fur.
Every time the girl was sad, she'd lift her cat's paw and give herself a little scratch to remind herself of her beloved pet.
In this way, the girl would transform her sadness to joy.

With every insult thrown her way came a scratch.
Every loss, every heartbreak, it all went scratch, scratch, scratch.
Through this scratching, she'd turn her pain to dust.

The cat knew this wasn't normal human behavior.
No one else in the house picked up his paws like that.
Just her.

One day the girl came home after a particularly hard day. She'd failed two tests and lost a close friend.
Right away, she approached the cat.
"Take my pain away," she whispered. "Turn it to dust."
And with a scratch, it all was gone.

Changing Values

Changing Values

Time keep on changing without a stop,

Human behavior also keeps on rolling,

Without tiring like Time and Watch.

The Man who showed the world light and torches,

And were the leaders of yesterdays,

To-day they are called the politicians of changing thoughts.

They read less and teaches a lot,

Often without even understanding and following,

The principals of humanity and law of Torts.

They breathe for Money and their belief is Money,

Their aim to live on this earth is Money,

They live for money and they worship Money like God.

The time of those wonderful great leaders like Gandhi,

The time of those history maker’s great men like Lincoln,

May never be possible on this Earth.

As the time of selfless devotion for a cause,

As the time of showing the world a new path, now goes through,

The jungles of irremovable Money Grass, Money trees and Money rocks.

Human Nature

Human nature
I’m a human, you’re a human
Can’t we all just be humane?
Why is it that we act poorly?
Or even blatantly insane?
We are getting worse than ever
Animalistic at its best
Time is mad at human nature
So she puts us to the test
All the lessons, all the teachings
The experience, the proof
Was in fain, it served no purpose
Wickedness goes through the roof
I’m a human, you’re a human
Whether different our race
Whether different our color
Whether different our face
What has happened to our glory?
What has happened to our crown?
Hear the sighs of our Creator
On his forehead a deep frown
At the start of our creation
We were honored, we were blessed
We were made to be the rulers
We were put higher than the rest
And below us were the creatures
This now sounds funny in retrospect
Please explain human behavior
When only we have intellect
Blessings have become a hazard
Most of them have been misused
And for that we thankless humans
Will for sure not be excused
Human nature is corrupted
And with time it worsens more
Keep holding on all you goodhearted
One day the Maker will restore.
