Human Nature
Human nature
I’m a human, you’re a human
Can’t we all just be humane?
Why is it that we act poorly?
Or even blatantly insane?
We are getting worse than ever
Animalistic at its best
Time is mad at human nature
So she puts us to the test
All the lessons, all the teachings
The experience, the proof
Was in fain, it served no purpose
Wickedness goes through the roof
I’m a human, you’re a human
Whether different our race
Whether different our color
Whether different our face
What has happened to our glory?
What has happened to our crown?
Hear the sighs of our Creator
On his forehead a deep frown
At the start of our creation
We were honored, we were blessed
We were made to be the rulers
We were put higher than the rest
And below us were the creatures
This now sounds funny in retrospect
Please explain human behavior
When only we have intellect
Blessings have become a hazard
Most of them have been misused
And for that we thankless humans
Will for sure not be excused
Human nature is corrupted
And with time it worsens more
Keep holding on all you goodhearted
One day the Maker will restore.
