Premium Member October, When the Leaves Intensify

October, when the leaves intensify -
colored explosions: orange, yellow, red,
breezes to temper summer's heat draw nigh.

There's one last month of days with lightened sky
before our Daylight Saving goes to bed;
October, when the leaves intensify.

A campsite will my kinfolk occupy,
by hot bonfire we'll sing and break the bread,
breezes to temper summer's heat draw nigh.

So many sports events to satisfy
this fan: World Series appetites are fed,
October, when the leaves intensify.

The crisp night air, hot chocolate, pumpkin pie,
warm sweaters, gloves, and scarves become widespread,
Breezes to temper summer's heat draw nigh.

Sweet treats for trick-or-treaters who stop by,
the pirates, princesses, and walking dead.
October, when the leaves intensify;
Breezes to temper summer's heat draw nigh.

Hot Chocolate Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate hot chocolate I like it sweet, at Yule time I'll drink it then take a back seat
beside the old tree where Santa I'll meet they'll be cookies galore for St Nick to eat
as he shimmies and jiggles on two booted feet and a face flushed like rubious beet
I'll be eager to meet him but I will not cheat as I wait for the daylight now isn't that neat !
hot chocolate hot chocolate with marshmallows too I'll watch the chimney as I quietly chew
I have coated the bricks with butter and goo so his belly will slide,
(wink) he'll know what to do !
Down in the manger the angels acrue waiting for Jesus to
make His debut
While the Three Kings are offering their three gifts on cue, dear Santa
I'm waiting, I'm waiting for you
Hot chocolate hot chocolate I like it sweet,
but when it comes to Jesus, I won't take a back seat.

?

She was lost in an ice storm
But sheltered in a lovely plaid, form.
That new, thick, wool coat,
Warmed her like a castle moat.
Her Mother finally came!

She stared, melting out the car’s window
Frosted pane.
Soon to have, hot chocolate, in her favorite
steaming cup.
A desirable treat, that would warm
any girl’s heart up!

Premium Member It Snowed Today

It snowed today. I made our hot chocolate just like I always do whenever it snows—rich with chocolate and topped with swirls of whipped cream. I made a cup for you and a cup for me.
I carried them to the bow window, where we always sat, watching the world soften under winter’s hush. The snowflakes danced, drifting and twirling in the wind, just as they always did. Just as we always did—together.
I wrapped my hands around the warmth of my cup, breathing in the familiar scent. Yours sat beside me, untouched, the whipped cream melting into the dark swirl beneath it.
A cup for you and a cup for me.
But you are not there.
And yet, in the hush of falling snow, in the warmth of the cup beside me, in the quiet ache that
fills the space you left behind—somehow, you are.

Hot Chocolate

Black Butterscotch, Caramel
Coconut In A Cup
Cookies-N-Cream , Brown Sugar
With A Vanilla Scent Of Lust

Let Me Spin My Straw In You
And Watch The Waves Swirl Through
With A Thick Blast Of Honey Almond
It’s A Hot Chocolate Whirlpool

So Hot The Heat Could Melt Marshmallows
And Make Our Bodies Feel Warm
I Could Feel The Temperature Level Rising
In Your Soft Steamy Form

When I Get You On The Table
Or On The Counter Top
You Are A Simply Delicious Delight
From Your Bottom To Your Top
Down To The Last Drop
I Just Don’t Want To Stop

Hot Chocolate..... Hot Chocolate.....
So Many Flavors To Savor
Every Time I Finish
You Keep Me Coming Back Later

Addicted To Sweet Sips
By The Touch Of The Tongue
I Believe That I Need You
Hot Chocolate Got Me Sprung!!!!

Marshmallows In Hot Chocolate

Into my cup I stare
To believe, the tea leaves read
Like scrambled eggs on wheat
Remnants of, a beast I chose to eat

Once again, I look
And still no message here
Hidden, nor anywhere
It’s what I choose to see

The facts which lie before me
Are that, I asked for rye
And specifically over easy
Now that’s the true conspiracy

And wait a darn minute!
That’s why the fates deny me
Those are white chunks
Marshmallows in hot chocolate

Hot Chocolate

A stranger once offered me
A cup of hot chocolate.
He looked awfully familiar
So, smiling, I accepted it
As I gaze at the light drizzle outside.

But the boiling brew
Warmed my body not
Nor it unfroze my cold, lonely heart.
It was molten live coals. Furiously it burnt
On my tender pink.

Wincing, I
Drew back but, oh!
Too late.
Rich, milky, burnt-sienna
Had scalded pale pink
So badly it left a lasting
Sting
And an icy-cold heart.

I take no more hot chocolate
From any stranger ever since.
Tongues and lips heal
But not hearts.
Mine never thaws.

And what stings more
Than the bitter, dark, hell-brewed chocolate,
Bubbling-hot and vicious on dear lips,
Is how I now see that
Everyone is a stranger to
Me.

Hot Chocolate Time

Frozen red leaves fall
Chilly skin and bones
Hot chocolate time

An Ode To Puddles

Yay! Puddles!
Splish! Splash! Splish!
Wonderful Puddles!
You fill this rainy day with fun!
Thanks for always being there,
Right at the end of the driveway!

Although Mom might not like you,
I always will!
Because once my spashing is done,
I get hot chocolate!
Wonderful Hot Chocolate!

Hot Chocolate Anyone

It is cold, and so dreary outside
Making one want to snuggle and hide
Warm socks on my feet
Please turn up the heat
A cup of hot chocolate at my side.

It had seven marshmallows on top
I ate them one by one, couldn’t stop
Four more cups, yummy
Warmed up my tummy
Kept drinking till I thought I would pop!

It is still cold, and dreary outside
Alas, I’m really struggling inside
Oh, what have I done
The cramps have begun
In the bathroom, all day I will hide!
