Marshmallows In Hot Chocolate

Into my cup I stare
To believe, the tea leaves read
Like scrambled eggs on wheat
Remnants of, a beast I chose to eat

Once again, I look
And still no message here
Hidden, nor anywhere
It’s what I choose to see

The facts which lie before me
Are that, I asked for rye
And specifically over easy
Now that’s the true conspiracy

And wait a darn minute!
That’s why the fates deny me
Those are white chunks
Marshmallows in hot chocolate

Love those little tiny marshmallows in hot chocolate. It is 75F now, so not really weather for hot drinks. So often we do not get what we think we want in life. Will have to read this one again.
