Marshmallows In Hot Chocolate
Into my cup I stare
To believe, the tea leaves read
Like scrambled eggs on wheat
Remnants of, a beast I chose to eat
Once again, I look
And still no message here
Hidden, nor anywhere
It’s what I choose to see
The facts which lie before me
Are that, I asked for rye
And specifically over easy
Now that’s the true conspiracy
And wait a darn minute!
That’s why the fates deny me
Those are white chunks
Marshmallows in hot chocolate
