Hot Chocolate Anyone

It is cold, and so dreary outside Making one want to snuggle and hide Warm socks on my feet Please turn up the heat A cup of hot chocolate at my side. It had seven marshmallows on top I ate them one by one, couldn’t stop Four more cups, yummy Warmed up my tummy Kept drinking till I thought I would pop! It is still cold, and dreary outside Alas, I’m really struggling inside Oh, what have I done The cramps have begun In the bathroom, all day I will hide!

mmmm I love hot chocolate but tend not to embellish it with marshmallows or cream etc... not sure I like the idea of the 'after effects' after reading your poem!:-) hugs Jan xx7

Thanks Jan, I cannot drink it anymore because of health constraints but I do remember as a child stuffing as many marshmallows as I could in the cup. Then stirring them in until they melted. Don't know why I thought that was so good! Lol!

Funny Betty. I was prompted to write about hot chocolate today too. I see you did just fine! :)
