Cruelly taken by a heartless act,
gone without a chance to say goodbye.
Innocent souls roam the heavens,
safe from the harsh realities of life.

A mother's eyes overflow with tears,
wondering if God comforts her child tonight.
A father clings onto a photo,
reminiscing the last time he embraced his child tight.

They gaze at twinkling stars in hope,
wondering if it's their child's eyes sparkling bright.
On a silent night they can still hear
their child's laughter, echoing in the horizons.

They ponder if twenty children still meet
in heaven's playground, jumping on clouds.
Hoping angels sing sweet lullabies,
just like a mother's serenade.

All the fragrant flowers in heaven,
yet there is no scent like a mothers'.
Softness of angel feathers could
never replace her touch.

Gates of heaven so magnificent,
but there is no strength like a fathers'.
Warmth of angels could
never replace his embrace.

When an innocent child prematurely leaves this world,
a parent's heart is forever fragile drowning in sorrow,
for there is no pain like the loss of a child.

Me, my brother Tom and Uncle Pat were on a fishing holiday
three men in a rowing boat way out in Dublin Bay
we anchored up and cast six rods over a sunken wreck
hoping for the catch of our lives to haul onto the deck
hours passed with the floats just bobbing up and down
Tom fell asleep and Pat sat watching with a frown
a ferry passed by and the swell nearly made us capsize
as I held onto the sides Pat stood there with staring eyes
his float had gone and the rod had bent double
I woke Tom up and told him we were in trouble
Pat grabbed the rod and with all the strength he had
he struck the line which went straight down, oh man this was bad
the boat began to list quite far and water was gushing in
we started bailing out, but Pat held firm he stood there with a grin
he had a bite that was pulling hard the line shot under the keel
only one fish had the strength for this, it was a giant conger eel
Tom rummaged through the tackle and handed Pat a knife
we shouted ‘cut the line’ or this fish could take a life
but he heaved and reeled then shouted ‘get the gaff’
we saw his head and great big teeth and said ‘you’re having a laugh’
Tom grabbed an oar and whacked it’s head, the oar it broke in two
Pat’s foot was in the firing line and the eel snapped at his shoe
the eel it thrashed; we kicked and lashed the eel half out the boat
but the eel was having none of it and was going for Pat’s throat
the screams were heard by other boats who came to our rescue
the next we knew the eel was dead killed by god knows who?
a harpoon in it’s head stuck out and we were showered in blood
Pat saw blood gushing from his foot, then fell with a sickening thud
we climbed aboard the other boat, the eel it was their prize
we lost our boat and rods, half a shoe plus two toes, It’s the truth, I tell no lies….

Be Careful What You Hook

I once heard of a fisher Luciano,
who sang bass as he played on his piano.
Once he fished and cast his line
  by mistake hooked his behind
since that day, when he plays he sings soprano.

Jenny and Lenny Hook Up

Lenny was 30 and still living with his old cheese, everyone called, Lenny’s mum.
She was always on his Cadbury Snack to go find a trouble and strife for a chum.
“Geez, leave off mum, I’ve been looking down at the Punchbowl rubbity Dub”.
“Well Lenny, go to the grab a granny at the Rissole, Fridý night will ya luv”.

Friday came, Lenny put on his best bag of fruit and fired up his old VS Dunny Door.
With his pay in his sky rocket as he hit the frog and toad with the peddle to the floor.
Mum put some of dad’s old brill cream in his Fred Astaire before he left the house.
“Be good Lenny, me little china plate, if ya need a lift home give me a Wally Grout”.

Jenny was on the rock ‘n’ roll so she saved up her oxford scholars for a big night out.
She wasn’t flash to look at, with her bifocal monkey’s arses but she had a good jam tart.
She walked into the Rissole, tilting her leg as she let rip a decent Royce Hart.
Her dad would’ve said, “A bit more choke and it would’ve made you start”.

Jenny met Lenny at the near ‘n far, knowing he was giving her the old Captain Cook.
Introductions made and Lenny thought she was a bit of alright, as he had a second look.
They hit it off after Jenny’s Third vodka and Lenny’s fifth schooner of pigs ear.
Feasting on bar snacks of party dogs eyes, Jenny dripping the dead horse in Lenny’s beer.

A couple of young blokes walk up to Jenny and tried to give her Reg Grundies a flick.
Jenny started throwing cut lunches, smashing him on the Lionel Rose, then gave him a kick.
Lenny intervened, saying, “We don’t want any froth and bubble.” Before thing got nasty.
He took Jenny outside screaming, “He’s got a face like a half eaten pasty”.

And that’s how Lenny and Jenny met, Lenny’s mum was happy seeing Lenny with stars in his mud pies.
They got cash ‘n carried, had a couple of billy lids, that loved to eat burgers and fries.
It’s not at all romantic, but that’s how most Aussie love stories go.
Lenny and Jenny together forever, They’re mates most of us will know.

The fishing of Scotland's coast
To be honest I have to boast
Please come take a look
And dangle your hook
And join me in traditional toast

My favourite place is called Dunnet Head
With many species it has to be said
One just dangles their line
Hey presto! see what you find
It's a bite, not the weight of your lead

But sadly there has been some stinkers
When the fish must have been thinkers
For many times we did try
In us they espied
Wasting our time dropping our sinkers

Hook, Line and Sinker
I went fishing by myself today
It is not something I normally do
I like to sit by the water’s edge
Watching the light reflect off the blue

Yes I like the fishing part
The hook, line, sinker, bobber and worm
And just in case I get a bite
I have a grip on the pole that is firm

I can’t think of a better thrill
Then to see the bobber go down
I try to remember all that you said
To make that fish land aground

But whatever has taken the bait
Is not coming in like I thought
It has other ideas in mind
I can tell you that fish really fought

Finally after quite a while
The fish gave up the fight
I was tired clear to the bone
But oh my what a beautiful sight

Twenty pounds at least I thought
I envisioned catfish filets all around
It got it close up to the bank when I heard
The most terrible horrible sound

I lost my hook line and sinker
The sound was the twang of my fishing line
The catfish saw me up close and left
And destroyed my vision of catfish divine

Sandy Hook Elementary Imposter, Fake Father Robbie Parker

* A tale of a charlatan, caught pretending to be a father of a Newton Massacre
Victim----(feel free to view his hyperbole on Youtube, search Robbie Parker
Interview)

This place is not big on naming names, but you sir, are despicable! Usurp
nightmares of another. Charlatan! How can you do what you do, there, bold
face lying for world news cameras. You, the very reason mine stomach pit,
ulcer amore'! Tho' there's no clear understanding for sins you've committed.
Those children! Where are the tears Robbie Parker? Where are the tears? We
can't look at you anymore!
The epitome of evil approached the podium, unaware we were staring into
your laughing eyes. Caught red handed, you Superman'd into character.
Despise, despise! No, I won't pretend like the others that hate is not in my
heart. You see, minus hate, love remains half mast. I thank you for the
juxtaposition. Yet, sickening you are. And the truth is out Mr. Parker, you are
a farce! Now I ask...Where does the misconception end? You mock naysayers,
label them "Conspiracy Theorists" amongst other choice vulgarities. In return,
I request answers. Answers to understand where true conspiracy roams, for'
I'm no dummy little buddy, and I know where there's smoke, fire is nearby.
Meanwhile, you might want to sharpen your acting skills, for the end is nigh.
And you Robbie Parker are only a speck of the lie.

You rigged the book on Sandy Hook.

Contemporary Hook Up

Shadows and neon lights
flood the hotel room
we are actors in a soap opera
the pillows drool
at your sexy eyelashes
I anticipate you and I
will share the smell of exhaustion
as we cling to each other
in our soon to be well worn skin...

Perhaps I don't really know
where you've been
or who you hang with
all I can feel right now
is to taste your lips
lick your dark brown skin
I don't wish to know
your favorite movie
you don't know how I like my tea...

This just may be
an acted out
fairy tale romance
or it may just be
a dark night of erotic tricks
then I'll ask for your number
this most dangerou game....

A Divine Hook-Up: Loyalty, Love and Devotion When Women Worship God

Naomi and her family departed from Bethleham Judah the land of milk and honey
in the midst of a famine as they were unable to earn any money
so on to the region of Moab they ventured and prospered to some degree
until Naomi lost her husband and both sons and was left alone to grieve
to her daughters-in-law she told them both to their families they should go back
but one daughter-in-law Ruth refused to let their relationship come under attack
she told Naomi I will never leave you nor forsake you
I will stay by your side no matter what we have to go through
your people will be my people, your God will be my God
and wherever you choose to travel you and I will never part
with loyalty, love and devotion Ruth needed Naomi in her life
in order for her to develop a relationship with our Lord Christ
now worshipping God together placing their fate in His hands
for this was a divine hook-up that the Lord our God had planned

Now Naomi needed Ruth too but was too afraid to admit it
as she felt she had been forsaken by the presence of the Holy Spirit
but God was in the midst of that relationship from the very start
He had destined that Ruth and Naomi would never, ever part
for when women worship God great relationships are made in life
with loyalty, love and devotion in the name of Jesus the Christ

In the course of your life there will be people whom you need and require
to help you to be all that you can be in the way that God desires
the clarifiers in your life will help you to see what is your mission
the collaborators in your life will encourage you to come to a decision
the confronters in your life will nag you and stay in your face
while the comforters in your life if they're of God will help you find your place
then the celebrators in your life will help you to rejoice in your victory
with the spirit of love, devotion and a godly loyalty

Now Ruth went on to get remarried but kept Naomi as a member of her household
for their relationship was a divine hook-up that was under God's control
for when women worship God great relationships last an eternity
Naomi and Ruth a divine hook-up of love, devotion and loyalty

Sandy Hook

You all were taken way to soon
To go and listen to an angel's tune
As you sit and listen to their song
You are not where you belong

You belong with your loved ones
Enjoying the thoughts of days to come
The world stopped on this day
They stopped and started to pray

I am a father, that word has new meaning today
I can't understand why you were taken away
As I sit and try to find a reason
I shed many tears over this act of treason

My heart goes out to the family and friends
Of the souls that met their untimely end
My thoughts and prayers are with you tonight
As you try to find solace in this plight

As to the ones who witnessed this attack
I know it will be a long time to bounce back
My thoughts and prayers are with you too
My family and I will pray for you.

Lord take care of these souls
Let them succeed in their new roles
Lord hear my prayer
Lord hear everybody's prayer

Taken Away
Though they wanted to stay
Christmas just a week away
Not having a chance to say goodbye
Leaving mom and dad behind
Peace and Comfort they need to find
A senseless Act
Wishing they just came back
No words can be said
Hugging my children tighter before they head to bed
Reminding us to cherish life alittle more
Say I love you as you walk out the door
Nothing can fix the damage that has been done
Rest in peace precious little ones

This tragic event is not the first nor be the last
but if we work on change we can put it in the past

Where was God in this senseless act?
Wanting these lives to simply come back
Satan came in his place
Evil layed down his head
Leaving behind pain and dread
Oh' Christmas Tree
Oh' silent Night
Twas evils will in this plight
It shouldn't of happened, especially not this way
So say, i love you before you start each day

Fish N Hook

The Fish and the Hook,

Birthmark of a man,

A Fisher of Men,

Return-eth again,

Expected to change,

the fate of the damned,

Thy Will becomes Faith,

 Our Lord's coming is planned!

Premium Member Kitten On a Doctor's Hook

The neurologist hung me out to dry
“No cure,” says he as I hang by a thread
All dressed up and wanting to fly
Took torturous tests that I did dread
What? No means of comfort? Have I misread?

Like a kitten on a hook, I hang and wait
Please take me down and offer hope
Now in a chiropractor’s hands I rest my fate
On my spine he’ll press and grope
With the symptoms, I’m learning to cope

Yet, as I hang here, medical bills are tossed at me
Insurance pays a bit, but it’s running out
Praying for a treatment to set me free
Months pass; whiskers grow from my snout
In a debtors’ prison I’ll land, no doubt

The Hook

I scream, I cry. If I fail, I will die.
I vomit, I bleed. I am weak from need.
I shiver, I shake. I lay here awake.
What is it I've done? What have I become?
I see a mirror. My end is clearer.
My hair is so dry. Redness is my eye.
Body once strong, to drug it does belong.
My mind is not here. Something I held dear.
I am no more man, a child with no land.
All I've tried to make, thrown out for spice sake.
How will I return? To love life's sweet burn?
I must rise from ash. Reach into soul's cache.
Destroy my destroyer. Leave hell's foyer.
To never look back, wrench my life on track.
