While On the HillsidesThe hillsides gleam in blazed fanfare
Until their blended shadows dim
Through cloak of leaves, the ridges wear
A softened light from mossy sky
To lull the folks resting nearby.
And oaks hang low in shades of blue
While woodland hums a night’s chorus;
Inviting new stars to pursue
