In the middle of the universe, I stand
My mind seeking comprehension
The mysteries of life tantalize my tenacious grip on wisdom
I stand
Observing omnipotent organization
The universe expands as I stand in wonder
What does it all mean?
Infinite answers press against my finite mind
Clamoring for recognition
I stand: dazed, amazed, crazed
By all I don’t know and can never fathom
Until there is light
And the light dawns
And the meaning of the universe unravels

Your celestial body orbits mine
Time after time
Your gravitational force defies logic
Refusing to stay in the paths ordained
The laws of nature are flaunted
and...we collide
My head is crowned with your constellation kisses
I travel in the nebula of your dreams and fantasies
As you dip into my body the Milky whiteness of your WAY
The universe explodes in the starry heavens of your eyes
Meteorite words of ecstasy
Streak across my sky of consciousness
Blazing...

Time becomes a non-entity
The mystery of love overshadows the mystery of life
And now I see…
The beginning and end of all creation
The sum total of my existence
Of life
Of the universe
Of...EVERYTHING
Is here
It’s eternal

In the middle of the universe, I stand
I understand
The universe is LOVE

Magnetism

for you are this longing
gravitational force-
you steal my senses and
secure me to the deepest
parts of your existence.

                you and me have this
                attraction,
                causing a chain reaction-
                without reason or rhyme,
                we've traveled through
                space and time.

for we are intense magnetism-
affinity and allurement,
drawing us closer and closer...
towards temptation.

                  you and me have this
                  fascination,
                  a God-given creation-
                  keep pulling me near,
                  live inside my gravity....
                                          ...without fear.

Lost In Your Eyes-Collaboration With Vladislav Raven

My beloved, I behold an angel when I look upon you,
you are the living star in my every thought and dream.
On the ethereal breeze I come my beloved,
in my arms once more I look upon Aphrodite's grace.
My beloved, let me taste of love's glory from your goddess lips,
the desires of my heart now ready to come forth.
Passions do explode within my very core,
then I see you my beloved, I am lost in your eyes.

Be still my beloved, as I touch your tender skin,
Your eyes of honey and your scent of indigo bring intensity-
Beyond the core of the existence I feel a need so strong,
too strong to resist; for you are my allured magnet,
my gravitational force beyond the human caress recognition.
Enticement and excitement shall bring fever to your seduction-
I’ve seen the beauty of Tuscany and found my way to heaven,
and there you are, my beloved…for I am lost in your eyes.

My beloved, those lingering thoughts of love divine I ever caress,
held deep within my hearts chambers of love divine.
When in your arms each chamber opens, a symphony of love triumphant,
a duet played in emerald green fields of passion.
Desires shall be fulfilled in love's domain of grace,
I shall lie with your temple of infinite delight.
Love shall lift us to heaven's wondrous domain,
I now swim within your soul, for I am lost in your eyes.

Be still my beloved, as I outline you with wonder,
canvas upon canvas of perfect hues of elegance.
Depths of unknown castles redeem your beauty as innocence,
your splendor is breathless as my lungs long for your scent.
Exquisite in fantasy and remarkable in adoring true love-
If bushels of roses are reminders of true romance,
then I shall give one to you every morning when you awake.
For I am found in your sight, when I am lost in your eyes.

A collaboration with Vladislav Raven, a dear friend of mine :)
Thank you dear man for all your beautiful poetry. I am so happy to be able to write this with you!

Only Me

moonlight eclipse shadows each beat,
it’s time to fear not what we are-
turn the lights down low,
be discreet
and
love me tenderly from afar,
for you are my ivory star-
i shall fall back in your arms and retreat
touching you with ease...
     repeat
     repeat
flowing crimson love into the autumn breeze
     complete
     complete
whispering through the cherry blossom trees
no mistreating or competing,
only feeding what needs feeding-

you became my gravitational force,
aching to please me-
-ME and only ME-
without remorse or recourse,
in you, i see what others see-
I’M IN LOVE WITH YOU,
(my beautiful man)
who shines with love in my poetry

        Legend goes on discovery of
        Universal Law of Gravitation
as an apple from tree just fell off
on ground, watched by Sir Isaac Newton.

         He considered ripen apple
          as experimental sample.
Free fall of fruit made him curious.
        Scientist started thinking serious.

        On detachment from stalk aftermath
the apple neither hangs in air
nor goes up under wind’s care,
but is bound to fall on Earth.

         Great Gravitational force is responsible.
To escape attraction of Earth is impossible
         for all earthly materials.
        Gravity claims credentials.

The Mathematician and Physicist Sir Isaac Newton discovered Theory of
Gravity. Gravitational Force acts between all pairs of bodies. He formulated
the Inverse Square Law of Universal Gravitation in 1687.

Among the Trees

It started with a smile,
Running after this beautiful butterfly
And ended with a group of pile,
Burning its ashes in the sky.
The gravitational force of the forest,
Was like the utter submission of the soul
Giving your whole days racing after the harpist,
And forgetting all about the black hole.
The stroll was full of glee:
Harpists, butterflies and no plea.
Unexpectedly, being blinded caused disorientation
Finding yourself lost among the trees,
And your heart just full of hesitation
You came to a dead end where you flee.
Days passed like lingering years,
And you didn't have a single weapon not even spears.
It is time when you implored the Sun;
To show its light even if beneath the glum
It is time when you pleaded the moon;
To never let the dark cause any doom.
A flaw realized after the agony..
But it was said that it wasn't a tragedy.
They were just some injuries;
To teach you that life is full of miseries.
Never reproach yourself
Some trees appeared in your way
To show you that you are more than an elf.

My Cosmic Magnet

You are my  c o s m i c  magnet-
a gravitational force pulling in all my senses.
You stole my loneliness and gave me hope.

When the stars  a l i g n  because all my freedom drifted into oblivion,
your sagacity brings forth moments of revelation.
I can finally see our universe for what it is-
nothing but an adoring premonition of spellbound constellations.

The twilit cosmos bring forth intimate affections.
For we were written in the planets.
I hunger for your moon, you crave my stardust.

I was born to breathe your breath,
you were made to fill my lungs.
I was born to bleed in your veins,
you were made to trace my silhouette.
I was born to feed your soul.

For I never knew starvation until you satisfied my appetite.

          This is our universe...
the one place where our love
          will never cease to exist.

Courage Comes From Within

There was a young woman facing a demon so strong she hardly had the courage to breathe. Craved forgiveness and wanted bravery in her life. She prayed for strength. She was daring, but in the worst way. She knew what she was doing was wrong, but still couldn’t stop her addiction. She held onto that drink for years like it was a magnet. A gravitational force pulling her deeper into death. She prayed for the courage. She didn’t have the desire to pick up her journal anymore. Writing was her passion. She lingered into an oblivion beyond her control and woke up almost near death.

demons without names
craving strength and bravery
lost in addiction

Hospitals became home and medication become routine. Her life had spiraled and now all the changes left her as a black and white faceless frame begging for colored pictures. I don’t know the exact moment, or where she was or what she was doing, but she felt a release of comfort. She revived her heart. She had boldness in her bones and spirit in her soul. Her determination to get healthy and happy came and has never left.

life out of control
but new beginnings prevailed
determination

Her prayers had been answered. She found the courage to live again. She stopped the self-pity and regret. She awoke every morning in prayer and started writing once again. Picking up her journal was the bravest thing she’d ever done. For it is in self-expression that she found most relief. She faced no fear. Her trepidation had been thrown out. She has been healthy and happy for almost eight years. God had saved her once again from the brink of death.

praise in thanksgiving
courage killed her deep demons
this woman is me

Premium Member Spring Tides

The day was gorgeous. The air was crisp. The wind brought high tides to the sparkling blue ocean. The white, foamy waves were dancing and the music was magical. The water was reaching further and further up to the shore. The persistent rises and falls of the sea water were very mesmerizing. She walked close to the water on the shore thinking about the gravitational force. It was a new moon night the night before. She thought about how moon’s gravity distorts the ocean and makes the tides. The Sun and the moon together make exceptionally high tides when they are roughly aligned. The gravitational forces of the sun and the moon acting together make larger than average tides, which are spring tides. They have nothing to do with the upcoming spring though! She was awestruck by the view. Suddenly her attention got caught by a beautiful sight of graceful pelicans gliding effortlessly on the horizon. The endless landscape of crashing waves of the blue, vast ocean awakened profound links within. She felt bliss, her questions were answered.

Bent Elucidations

A Foreigner in a land of chicanery, can't see the forest nor
destiny aimlessly adrift tween dusky skylines searching
'pon comet-like nights, 'neath the shine of absurdity
mistaking stardust for certainty, there was an inkling
once upon a brief interlude 'tween misconceptions,
when the sun ravished moonbeams and earth split
its gravitational force wrenching an indubitable forfeiture,
examining life from otherwise similar sides of continuum's
unfathomable folds, careening beyond askew gradient elucidations
into abstruse significance 'midst hallelujah inferences weeping,
misleading each sway of deceptive constructs yielding complexities'
mid psychotic beliefs, invariably questioning timeless persuasions

Premium Member Moon Water

News is there is water ice on the darkest side
of the moon, I wouldn’t drink it just yet,
A gray dirt snow cone is what we’ll get!
Sustaining the cislunar economy, or
linking the moon to the Earth is everything.

Our psyche thirsts for it, bursts of lunar power.
Moon water made during the full moon
or the new moon is most potent.
Tapping into the Luna’s source by steeping
it’s moonglaze, and underneath tomorrow’s
“Ice Moon” it’ll be charged fully.

We are seventy percent water.
The moon affects earthly phenomena,
like tides with its gravitational force.
Our mental state changes with the moon’s phases.
We absorb the Luna's positive aura.
A rare thunderstorm on a full luminous orb,
collects in a glass the energy of the moon
directly under its glow. Charged by the moon’s energy,
Energy so intense it moves oceans!

The Drift
              by Odin Roark

How far such distance?

One’s birth is so innocent
Only to be lifted
Set alight to learn gravity

Where emotions
Intellect
Transcendence
All vie for a bit of influence

Such small minds
Of gaping eyes
Gaze at the unknown
While adults
Parents
Teachers
Clergy
Smile

Announce without foresight
Welcome!

So goes the drift
That levitational ricochet
Set up by massive influences
Bumping
Pulling
Shoving
Trajectories destined for…

Who knows?

Unknown reason
Becomes one’s journey
Even though some assume an answer
Wisdom suggests
We may not have a clue

Nature doesn’t play the same games
Human species wallow in
Our intelligence betrays us
Tricks us into believing
We have the answer
When all along

What if there be no confirmations
Only delusional answers?

Will we still plod forward
Believing we can overcome
The enigmatic gravitational force
That which often pulls our heart down
Usually into sadness
Our mind
Usually into crushing disappointment
Our souls…

Well

I’ll leave that to the supernaturally bright
The elite who know not drifting
At least not until…

Moods of Change

I have sensed, I feel, I have seen, growing impressions
imprinted upon the walls, inside my skull, impressions

that hang heavy within my D.N.A, like ghostly shadows
streaking across the empty spaces of my minds windows

as my days and nights – closing in on me – seem to be
slipping away, – being dragged ever onward – into a sea

of black holes,– with such gravitational force - you’ll find me
being sucked in, along with those leaving the last ray

of their life’s light, always fighting all that comes our way,
hanging on tightly to the fragile edges of what remains to day

of a reality, that has long since, gone to memory,
gone to dust, blown away by winds telling a story

of lives lived, experiences had and of life decaying
as we walk this plane, for a better future, we are praying

Drift Wood

There is this used less appendage
that once – maybe – during the course
of a passing month, rises, falls, becomes the useless,

meaningless, remnant of the past, a standing protrusion,
that does little more then lay idle,
even at times, when it gets revved up,
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paths

As we come to the end of that long road,
it becomes much harder to carry the load,
find a path that our psyche legs can climb
as they take us from a journey, once sublime
and into the past that has come in rhyme.
