Best Good Mom Poems
My mother was my teacher she gave me her all.
So when I had troubles she's the one I'd call.
If I needed her help she was always there.
To help me through life and teach me to share.
I was the middle child four girls and three boys.
We brought my mom so much love and joy.
When I was little she taught me to walk.
My first words were"I LOVE YOU" as she
taught me to talk.
If I cut my finger or fell and scraped my knee.
She'd kiss it and say now it's better baby.
She helped me with my homework no matter
what it was.
She's the best mom at no matter what she does.
As times got hard and as I traveled through life.
She led through example how to be a good mom
and a good wife.
She was the best at everything she did.
Even though I wasn't her only kid.
My mother made me the person that I wanted to be
Standing proud, truthful and strong for her to see.
Teresa Skyles
In God’s ministry
where love does prevail
her life-impact shines
since grace does not fail.
Though she’s senior now
still she’s young at heart
vibrant and active
to fulfill her part.
With cheerful spirit
she keeps reaching-out
as strengthened by Christ
her smile smites child’s pout.
Her orphanage tasks
bear her earnestness
wondrous meals she cooks
taste of sweet kindness.
We call her “Nanay”*
word of endearment
being a good Mom
priceless achievement.
Midst her prayer life
the Lord keeps blessing
great testimony
of upward pressing.
Volunteer teacher
in discipleship
she leads her students
to God’s partnership.
There in the garden
she tends plants with zest
nourishing flowers
while vanquishing pest.
Meanwhile our dog pets
smoother her with kiss
bathing them always
her hugs they won’t miss.
Praise of hers** inspires
yes, she’s a delight
touching me indeed
by her servant-light.
*Nanay in Tagalog means Mother. This person is NANAY LIZA ZAUSA.
**Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

you have been a naughty mom
you put a child on a time-out
no mothers day gift for you
it never wanted to come out of it
it smacked you back
you are a naughty mom
you put a kid on a time-out
no mothers day gift for you
handle it
you started it
you put it there
sole
confined
opposite a wall
it could do no wrong
just kidding
this is yours
a good mom
deserves a good gift
happy mothers day
“From now on, I’ll be good, Mom,” my son said.
This came after not too few tears for him I'd shed.
It used to be once he got out of bed,
my boy would get in trouble! He was led
by some strange drumbreat pounding in his head!
While other children liked to have books read
to them, he’d throw his to the floor instead!
He wasn’t treated cruelly or underfed,
yet often out in public, I would fill with dread
from his behavior or when he saw red.
He broke his toy cars, his bike and sled.
I felt like I was hanging by a thread;
I wondered if my boy would ever wed!
The year he started changing, my fears fled.
"From now on, I'll be good, Mom," my son said.

Note: This is only marginally fictionalized. Later he joined the Marines,
put himself through law school and wed!
There is a sweet little girl whom i see each day,
she wishes to be a star,I pray that she may!
She has the jest, she has the power,
She is the star, star of the next hour!
She wishes to fly but she is shackled in school,
But once she is out,I bet she will rule!
she has a heart that wishes good for all,
her songs remind me of the early morn bird's call!
she has a dream, not short - far too long,
she dreams to change the world with her song!
she is so confident,so lively - so bold,
''but she cant decide her life'',her parents told!
the wonderful girl who should be rocking the stage,
is again in a school,I will call it a shackled cage!
she has a pen, a copy and an elephant book,
and she has to bear it all with a pleasant look!
last night was a shakira's show, she must have cried,
they think she is happy but she is dying inside!
this star will be killed long before she shines,
but I'll accuse the convicts in my rhymes and lines!
Derasest parents, no doubt you love us, you have carried us in your lap,
but you are not me and i am not you, between us is a generation gap!
Our thoughts are different, dreams and ideals too,
so how can you decide we will wear red or blue!
Be a good dad,be a good mom, dont always talk of the performance,
we need your support, your guidance and not your hinderance!
Hundreds of your sons kill themselves every year,
what more proof you need,is it not clear?
we have a life,
we are the teens,
we have hopes,
we have dreams!!
and it was her right to dream, she dreamt of a star,
but I am afraid they will kill her before she goes far!!
Millions of dewdrops greet the dawn,
As hungry of bees buzz the clover,
Dazzling butterflies flutter about,
As moms give love the world over.
Lessons learned at our mother’s knee,
Last a lifetime till we grow older,
Popping up when troubles accrue,
Like a whispering angel on our shoulder.
Gods gives us friends that mean so much,
Children, fathers, sisters and brothers,
Though far, far above all the rest,
No one loves us more than our mothers.
In and out of friendships, jobs and partners,
Our mothers always remain our evening star.
Those who where born to a selfish mom,
Make the rest us realize how lucky we are.
How great life is to have a good mom,
Who reads what we feel but can’t say.
Nothing means as much as her tender touch,
And for all who are without one, “we pray.”
Recycled
I have gone through many storms.
Some I thought would capsize the boat,
and drown both me,
and my beloved children.
At the first sign of squall,
I tried to be ready.
As the storm approached I gathered all that I could,
to make sure, we would not run short... of necessities.
I tried to close the windows.
I locked the doors.
I listened intently to the sounds,
of the dogs... in the distance...
warning.
Our cat even tired to tell me...
in his own way...
that the preparations I was making,
would never be enough.
They would never hold the line,
of a whole lifetime.
But, I am a mom, and I refused to take note,
as to give up the game,
was to give up the reality
of real life.
Disability or damaged?
Tranquility... is only what can be achieved in the moment.
Pressed, preserved, and assimilated into the system.
"Danger, Will Robinson... Danger!"
We can not prevent what has been dealt out fairly,
or unjustly in the cards.
But we can choose to raise, the ante, or call the bet.
Even if our hand is forced, it is what is going to happen,
in the end, unpreventable, like the returning of the tide, every day.
You are a good mom.
You are the mom that was chosen.
That means you are the right mom or even the right dad.
You are not alone.
Don't give up.
Pray, and be, a parent again.
Not all children ever become adults.
Some are trapped, in bodies that age
with minds that stand still.
Whatever happens...
Know, and be at peace, be calm,
"He" does not make mistakes.
"He" is still in charge.
I saw the tears in her eyes,
Not because she was crying,
But an imprint,
From a hundred cries before.
A single mom,
Doing the best she could,
But she was far,
From evening life's score.
Her speech was slurred,
Probably from,
One too many drinks,
Drowning her sorrows away.
I almost,
Overlooked her completely,
Cause I couldn't,
Understand the words she had to say.
I could of ignored her,
Told her,
She wasn't welcome,
Cause I had no time to waste
But she had with her,
Her son,
Who despite being a bit embarrassed,
Did his best to explain her case.
So I decided to hear her out,
And despite my skeptic thoughts,
I decided,
To give her a chance.
Something about her appearance,
Told me she needed a break,
From people telling her,
There excuses for can'ts
The next month,
She came back,
Bright an early,
Ready to honor our deal,
I was encouraged,
Thinking how misleading,
Prejudices were,
From that which is real.
Here she was,
A good mom,
Just trying to give,
Her son something better,
And I almost,
Made her life harder,
By believing my misconceptions,
To the letter.
I learned a valuable lesson,
That day
You can't judge a book,
By it's cover.
And sometimes,
It's hard to tell the difference,
From a fall down drunk,
And an ill fortuned good mother.
MEMORIES OF MOM
The years have passed but memories stay.
My memories of you will never go away.
I'll never forget your dark brown hair.
In cascade curls and a french rolled flair.
Wearing black slacks and a man's white shirt.
Never wore a dress or even a skirt.
She was a good mom and a terrific cook.
Before bedtime she'd read from the good book.
We never had much but mom done her best.
She was never lonely and never had a empty nest.
Our mom loved her children with all she had.
She taught us well cause she was our mom and dad.
Her children love and miss her with all their hearts.
We'll hold our memories from the end to the start.

Day after day
Symptom after symptom
I go through this feeling of loneliness
Irritability
Snappiness
Anger
Depression
Unhappiness
Sadness, as tears roll down my face
I can’t believe eight years has passed
Seems like life has gotten harder
Slowly things crashed
In my head, my life is still the same
But life has recently taught me
That this is not me anymore
You’re different now
You have to grasp it
A flood of tears run down my face
A disability has taken over
This isn’t me, is this my life?
Is it me?
Or is it the world around me?
Running fast in my mind
But moving as slow as a sloth in reality
Am I still beautiful?
Am I still a good mom?
Am I still worthy?
Confusion sets in
I’m speaking but I’m not heard
My words come out
Sense is not made
Judgment of who I am now
Arguments and aggravation overcome me
Feeling stupid and dumb
Are negative feelings who I have become?
Memory loss
Mistakes
Vision problems
Loss of mobility
Loss of appetite
Depression and anxiety
This has become me!
I don’t want it anymore
I wish this pain was like garbage,
I can bag it up and toss it
but at the end of the day this is real life and I am
MS-understood!!!
We met when you were three
I know you like to climb trees
My precious daughter
you like hearts and butterflies
you always try new things that sometimes make you cry
mom tells you it is a good try
My precious daughter
you always giggle
when you get tickled
My precious daughter
I am the only mom you've really had
this makes my heart so very glad
My precious daughter
when you get sick and don't feel good
I will take care of you like a good mom should
My precious daughter
I love my precious daughter so very much
I love her hugs and kisses my heart just reaches out to touch
My precious daughter
I wrote this one with a friend in mind;
Her growing belly tells what most think the whole story
Her age is a cause for shame
She is scared And feels so alone
Strangers look at her And laugh
Pointing and wispers
She thinks her only way out is to destroy the thing inside
Angels and demons struggle in her young head
Fighting for life
She goes to church
Pro-life people shun her
They whisper:
“She is just a young child”
Against all odds she decided to tell her friends and family
She is going to see this through
She encounters lots of anger
What a little whore she is
God seems to not love her
She makes an appointment
Tears in her eyes she ascends
She opens the door to the clinic and climbs the stairs
Carrying the weight of her cross
A miracle
A older women dressed nice with hair as bright as the sun
Do not harm this child
Take comfort my dear sweet girl
I have been where you are
I have received their teasing
Do not listen to them
God himself has blessed you
The bulging belly tells a story
Your naked hand proves how brave you really are.
You've made it this far and you will make it even more.
Not every woman out there can do what God has blessed you with.
The woman gave a hug and the tears started to pour.
Back in the car she took a deep breath.
With a hand on her belly she spoke to the little child.
" I don't know if your a girl or boy, or even if I will be a good mom"
I promise to you I will try to do my best, just please don't turn out like me and be wild!"
She started the car and prepared to drive home for the worse
She knew this child was not going to be easy to have
Inside her was a little life growing bigger each day
No matter how hard it was going to be with her faith in God she would find a way.
Protecting; To the Last Breath
(a dark moment)
My dear friend told me I was a good mom today.
I went into the bathroom and tears sprang to my eyes.
I had no way to express my sadness.
He has bad shoes. (is what I wanted to say)
They have been bad for weeks.
I am not his guardian,
as evil continues to thrash and harass...
I can only be...
where;
I am that I can,
do as I am able.
His hand upon my son,
His hand upon his son,
His hand.
Angels watch,
and God knows,
My boy is free to walk at the zoo.
A gorilla among the flamingos,
that gives ballet lessons to the monkeys,
that cha cha with the elephants.
Medication makes his hands shake.
My heart is broken into a thousand pieces.
What is left to tear my soul from its roots?
but court papers and betrayal of facts...
not in evidence.
The purest view,
2020 vision...
The Lord will come.
The "Judge of All" things.
No one is ever going to escape.
All will stand for what they have stated,
or eluded too,
in an effort to hide and mock,
further belittle and take from...
or worse yet, what they did not do...
or prevent others from doing!
Disdain against not what is real,
but all around the truth dance,
ugly faces of skulls
and darkness.
M-irthful mother and daughter,
O-n the third of January
T-ake a ride on a bus,
H-aving time to visit me.
E-ffort of mother and daughter is truly beyond measure;
R-aquel is a good mom who wants Jen to have bright future.
A-s they arrive at the terminal,
N-o moment is put to waste;
D-elightful food from Jollibee brings joy to our face.
D-uring the very first meeting
A-ll we do is take a picture;
U-sing our phone cameras,
G-reat photos are a pleasure.
H-ours pass they travel again
T-o see another friend later;
E-very minute I get is precious
R-ight from the mother and daughter.
One clings on breast,
The other in lap,
Two crawl on floor;
Yes I am,
Their destitute mom;
Like a woman of stone age,
Live for food,
Bear babies and raise,
Until are grown enough,
To live their own;
None cares who am I,
What I wish,
Am a woman,
Have no dreams of own;
Kids and husband,
Are my karma;
My dedication rewards,
A good wife, A good mom;
Don't have life of my own;
Live for mate, live for kids;
