Best Glide Poems
To be a bird and glide above the sea.
How wondrous that would be! To soar so high
amidst tranquility while wheeling free
above the currents in my azure sky.
I’d travel with the breeze in summertime,
then fly down low to touch cool salty spray.
To be one with such majesty – a rhyme
of “sea” and “me” would be this poet’s play!
At sunset I would thrill to see the view
beyond the bright horizon of the beach.
How magical would be the twilight's hue
that mirrored rippled water just in reach!
And when the moon and stars were big and bright,
I’d sweep the tides in stillness of the night.
In effortless glide
Amidst the invisible thermals
Air balloons do soar
The hide of a horse
The tongue of an ox
No cloak of remorse
from a chicken with pox
The fur of a cat
the hoot of an owl
The stench of a rat
wiped clean with a towel
The bark of a dog
the glide of a snake
Lily pad of a frog ~
wiped out by earthquake
Slip into my life,
glide and slide with me, but don't -
stick me down with glue.
A risk taker is an adventurer, a taster of the fresh dew;
never satisfied until he has found that something so new.
Celestial bodies are clearly seen on a starless and mild night,
when the grayish sky invites a painter to invent his own light.
So fly up and glide over your extraordinary planet, and finally discover
what poets and dreamers only imagine to exist in their passionate gesture.
The unmitigated impudence of this season has already brought its first, despised pang;
changing emerald leaves to dull auburn, reminding me of the briefness of life's span.
Can't find any excitement in the boring ways that spoil your day and make you sluggish?
Try flying up and glide over this planet's panorama that can grant the spectator's wish.
Earth-bound with that satiated feeling, departing from a glorious view and a gibbous moon;
glad to land on a snowless ground, too anxious to send up, on drifting winds, my red balloon.
Glide.....
Glide into and out
Troubles come without a doubt
Inside you there is a way
Frightening you as it may
Become your most valued component
Deal with troubles seize the moment
By recognizing the way to the light
Anguish is simply times little bite
Decide clearly in your heartmind
Avenge this fate and you will find
Justifing your sorrows and pains
Beseech acceptance stand up again
Glide....
Secrets don't hide from me
All your answers glide free
Never have I been about deception
Fool's Gold is its worthless conception
Honesty, above all, until every line the army does fall
Can't hide at all, of glass might as well be your wall
Lies are just the way for your death to have life
Immune to backstabbing, I confiscated the knife
In shattered pieces, my thoughts of you could never be replaced
If I died right now, the only thing lost, your memory is disgraced
You left me all alone, far too soon
Caring for you, I was the buffoon
through slanted eyes
she reads my mind
scratches my patience
then glides on by
My future is in my hands
Iam afraid of the dark ,just as much as i fear...
as i fear the one from above .
I dont know what the day of tommor is goin to bring
But my hops is high .
Whether iam iam goin live till ninety or die tomorrw
Where ill be five years from now i wouldnt know
But i ...
I know i want to be free
Free of all lost memorys
Free of all the pain
Free of all the burdens i carry
Free of myself .
I wrap you around me
like a blanket of stars
you warm me
like a tapestry of jewels
you warn me
that I create the story
of my life
I wrap you around me
like a butterfly in petals
upon which stardust
settles as you glide
you remind me
that the shortest path
to happiness is you
A flower in the sun
becomes visible at dawn,
but, then along comes night
and it disappears from sight.
It’s stem, along with leaves
gliding easy in the breeze,
makes me wonder how it feels
when gazing up at trees.
Entranced by this swaying dame
behind a midnight's glow,
reflections of my fading cheer
a stream of memories flow.
Let me glide with you
Let me truly feel free
Let us fly through white fluffiness
Let us skim the vast sea
Let us enjoy the warmth of a days sunshine
Let us inhale the mystery and beauty of night
Let us eternally glide together
Let us for evermore be in full flight
She took off running that rainy, November day,
Flight strip was narrow, the sky was shaded gray,
As she reached the end of the field,
She saw a sign that said "please yield"
Going so fast she could hardly stop,
At the top of this cliff the only option was to drop,
She had reached her maximum speed,
It was now or never for her wings to lead,
The sky was vast the clouds her tier,
Fog was overwhelming,
Her surroundings were not clear,
She reached her highest altitude,
This put her in an excited mood,
Then suddenly she felt her levels drop down,
She was aiming fast towards the ground,
With thoughts of completion set in her mind,
She had to come up with a way to save time,
In the distance she saw a giant tower,
This would save her in this hour,
Now gliding towards this important mark,
She suddenly saw a giant stork,
She realized he conserves energy too,
By gliding in-between flying when traveling some place new,
Encouraged by this wise old bird,
Her journey didn’t seem as absurd,
When she finally was able to rest,
She was thankful that she gave it her best.

Where birds of blue sweetly glide
Above the crescent moon,
Shooting stars collide,
And wishes crash into an ocean dune.
All of these feelings, how did they tipple?
A few weeks back I surely was ok...
Like dropping ice down on a hard nipple,
We could part ways now. Yet I still delay...
Am I still hoping we’ll find a way?
Fool myself with longing. We meet again.
A high and then depression? God, no way!
I reason the odds are I’d wait in vain.
Another tragedy? Another fall?
Oh please! I've been there. I won't surrender,
I'll bang my stupid head against brick wall.
I hear you sing, your voice is so tender.
These poems are alive and all that's left
Of you and me, magic, time together.
I want to know your flaws, you are a heft.
You deserve heart's front row seat forever.
How are you doing when you don't read me?
Get up with no note of me by your door?
Both of us are fragile so we agreed
Such intensity's killing us. No more!
Yet I'm willing to pay this bitter price.
We would meet again, we'd live the moment,
Obey the thirst. We would eat some plain rice.
Nothing fancy. Should I be a poet?
To glorify this lifetime of romance,
Mutual understanding that we had.
I felt it instantly. I grabbed my chance
To be accepted once your face was read.
Yes you are a bird of just my feather.
You read a lot, you sing and you compose.
Wish we'd find a way to be together.
Violets, lilies, orchids, ruby rose.
I’ll keep these intense verses to myself,
I will not disturb you with my presence.
I think of you while you are swamped with self.
We’re back to earth after glide in heavens.
