Glide
I wrap you around me
like a blanket of stars
you warm me
like a tapestry of jewels
you warn me
that I create the story
of my life
I wrap you around me
like a butterfly in petals
upon which stardust
settles as you glide
you remind me
that the shortest path
to happiness is you
