Premium Member A Little Kindness Never Hurts

I’m at my happiest
When my heart overflows
With kindness and gentle compassion
And feel the energy of the universe
Radiating from my heart

I feel my best when I resonate
With the harmony around me
Finding ways to enhance
The tapestry of mankind’s brotherhood
At times by gargantuan efforts
At times by seemingly trivial deeds

Always on the lookout to help and contribute
To make this world a better place
There is no end to the ways
I can have a significant impact
Though there's no way I'll never know
The ripple effect of my kindness

I’m at my happiest
When I recognize the beauty of humanity
And feel we are meshed as one solid community
Because I fit in and it is my honor and privilege to
Bestow kindness every hour every day of my life

My Fallen Fay

Twas’ by a waterfall quite late,
Beneath the stars, full moon awake,
I saw my tiny love, my Fay,
Upon a mossy bank, she lay;

At first glance, I thought a dragonfly,
Poor thing had died whilst on the fly,
Fell there dead on that cold wet ground,
Until a closer look, bent down;

What I thought a mosquito hawk,
Sent me shivers whilst I gawked,
Arms, two legs, such delicate wings,
With Violet gown laid my undine;

I dare not touch her least she break,
Then realized it was my fate,
To take her home, to mend her there,
My little Fay with golden hair;

I placed her in a matchbox bed,
A cotton ball beneath her head,
Cut blankets from a silken scarf,
And tucked her in with weeping heart;

The days that passed where dreary ones,
For I was worse than faerie dumb,
And cursed myself each pacing night,
Inept to help my fading sprite;

With drooping eyes, and quite depressed,
I felt my heart sink in my chest,
My dear sweet Fay was turning blue,
And there was nothing I could do;

My shoulders shook, my tears were rain,
My love for Fay an aching pain,
I prayed take me, take me instead,
Then little Fay moved in her bed;

Into the air, a dart she flew,
Her wings a blur, no longer blue,
Around my head, she circled twice,
Then out the window, lost to night;
My heart became an empty thing,
Until I heard the buzz of wings,
And saw sweet Fay had spun around
With wand in hand, she shrunk me down;

My clothes are piled on the floor,
Gargantuan garb, which I once wore,
Dear Fay prefers my naked skin,
And woods have spider webs to spin.

Justin Thyme

Staring in the mirror when I'm down with these scissors I found.
With my wrists out and prescription lids littered around.
I've scribbled out a bitter letter in wicked accounts and written down twisted sentences in crimson.
I drown in no bounds it got me tripping out grouchy for outlets.
Now my hound pulls at my trousers.
When I'm face down drowsy with a mouth full of downers.
I'm pale looking clownish.
I ain't clowning around, see my self esteem floundering.
Out for the count as hells demons seen prowling around me proudly twisting and dancing entrancing.
Slipping away fast last vision left glancing enhanced with a mixture of doubt.
Knowing there's no one to laugh with and be found here alone with a sinister frown.
I've got to get out.
Haunted in this mysterious house that time forgot.
A place where damp rises and shrouded in all types of moss and lichen, rotting with the slime from condensation.
A sodden formed Forrest where I'm under sedation.
A clock work decision I watch myself gazing transfixed on my mission across amazing mazes.
As dreams fade into sight I stay silently praying.
Embracing the night watching day light escaping.
Remain in this safe haven I'm taken away safely remaining unshaken, grey and unshaven, eight shades of my aura shadows the ravens.
The creature with talons and the beak of eagle seen clutching a talisman to defeat it's evil.
I see through people. Phycic and tight lipped.
Leaving hindsight to guide you through life is wisest.
Am I dying or buying my time in this crises like I'm finally deep in abyss.
Analysing my past thinking did I even exist.
Forever with bliss since I slipped away tearful
Surviving myself I won't ever be fearfully trapped in this labyrinth with Pan and he knows me ghostly he came close cosey and held me closely through apocalypse start dropping atom bombs not stopping Babylon.
God got him banished like exhiled angels deep into faranheit heat like my minds a scotch bonnet.
The child of the scorch trials in the maze at night.
Was made strict then was bitten by count
Dracula.
Come the blood sucker parasite cancerous spanning round my brain like the legs of a tarantula.
Tendrils gargantuan.
Attaching the canula straight from the ambulance.
Inserting the catheter.
Wired like capacitors.
Body kept alive with 240 volt adaptors.

Creature Couplets

The giraffe
Haughty and fond of herbivorous feasts,
Tends to look down on his wee fellow beasts.

The elephant
Thin outer ears are gargantuan-sized,
Tickling the ivories isn't advised.

The pelican
Genus of water-bird with a long beak,
And in his throat there is food for a week.

 The crocodile
Don't you be fooled by his sad, tearful eyes
He's out to get you - it's just a disguise.

 The zebra
Sports a moheccan style tuft on his head
And he wears stripey pyjamas to bed.

 The panda
Never one fazed by what's wrong or what's right,
Tends to see everything in black and white.

 The kangaroo
He lives 'down under'- Australia's pride
With little Joey who's there for the ride.

 The zoo
All of these creatures hang out at the zoo
Feeding time heralds a hullabaloo!

Premium Member Stuck In a Christmas Snow Globe

The lines of the glass blur,
the scenery blends
except for that
strange,
semi-translucent curvature.
What lay between me
and my living room,
clear yet an acrylic
boundary to freedom;
as I survey
my post nap situation,
with mortal eyes
I realize...
I’m stuck in a snow globe.
My snow globe,
with the quaint pre-Victorian
house and the sleigh and
snowman
in the front yard;
I’m tiny and my
living room furniture,
gargantuan
as though a giant
resided within my house.
A parallel world perhaps?
No, it’s my world and
at some point between
twilight sleep
and awakening,
I ended up inside
of my own globe.
My it’s cold in here,
oh no, it’s starting to snow
and this snow is not glitter...
what is the Grinch
doing in my Living room?

Blue Leviathan

Blue Leviathan

Sounding the bathymetric deep
Lazuline green to waters risen
Of sonic dark sung Cetacea poetry
With ever knowing smiles
The gargantuan glides
Graceful on angel winged flukes

Slow easy speed
Of winded massive lungs
Hits the surfacing
Blown by fountainhead spouts
Breaching upon the waves

Two hundred tones of aquamarine
Poised and ready
Driven to fly the salt-water medium
Lifting from the brine light domain

Performs a pirouette

Crashing leviathan
In a centuries ballet
Antediluvian epitome of natures
Balanced perfection
Sings a song haunted melody
Traversing oceans

Beyond the deepest knowing of land
The plummet and plumb line
Of fathoms
Still skirts a coral reef
And basks in shallows
Quiet phantom
Of the giant blue

Premium Member Blows from An Axe

One-liner
of doom...

"I'm leaving you"

Mercy!

The poor fellow
must've died
a thousand deaths
right then...

"Whack! Whack! Whack!"
goes an axe
straight through
his confused heart.
Ouch!
 A devastating impact.

Numb to the bone
as he stands,
directly facing her,
in arrested astonishment;
listening...
as she narrates
the end
of everything.
Too numb
to utter so much as
a word.

He stands there
as if
frozen in time,
growing...
increasingly deaf
with disbelief;
too stunned
to plead...
                 "Baby, please, don't do this!"
Or cry out
an anguished "Now, wait a minute!"

On her breath,
the fetid stench of death;
d e a t h
of gargantuan dreams
dreamt together.
Their panorama
of bright tomorrows
suddenly look
blacker than charcoal.

He listens
as she's speaking
but doesn't comprehend
the words
forking into him
like flashes of lightning.
Hopelessly lost in
"How did it come to this?"

A sucker-punch
that landed
with speed so blinding
he couldn't see it!
Unbearable pain
that writes itself
across his crimson face
His defeated spirit,
a bark of a tree
withstanding blows
from an axe.

Premium Member Dragon

Denizen of abyssal labyrinth,
legendary ancient Wyrm seeks succour
within prodigious sepulchral cavern:
her domicile for an ageless lifetime.

Ethereal shafts cascade through ceiling's
stochastic rifts, piercing tenebrous tomb;
vicious viscous scarlet smears juxtapose
against shimmering iridescent scales.

Aeons past, Faustian pact formed with Man:
vow of harmonious co-existence
exchanged for fulgurant falchion forged in
the heart of dragonflame's conflagration.

Sacred covenant shattered this night by
myriad ironclad interlopers;
ruination's harbinger was strident
warrior wielding token of treaty.

Last vestiges of cacophonous roar
dissipate into the Stygian depths;
acrid stench of brimstone clogs the air as
remnants of vitriolic pyres linger.

Twin gargantuan fibrous wings contract
behind enormous muscular torso;
fulgurating talons sluggishly sheaved
as serpentine tail shudders and falls limp.

Priceless metals and prismatic gemstones
intersperse with charred and twisted corpses;
amongst detritus of mortal conflict,
majestic titan finally crumples.

Massive lurid yellow orbs exhibit
an unfathomable intelligence;
succumbing to the inevitable,
moribund colossus bows forlorn head.

Lifemate butchered by zealous paladin;
remains of final clutch just motes on breeze.
Burden borne by solitary relict:
regal behemoth was last of her kind...

I'm a sea captain!
Don't need a microphone !
I watched you take a back spin
With the skills I've honed

You pre picked your pansy pearl
Thought I didn't know it?
You presented your gargantuan

But didn't expect the Floating Poet

To the fart scoundrel of snoot port
Who saw the need was dire
Had the art counsel of Beaufort
Promise 2nd and 3rd to out of town

It was a nice thing you did for her
The unethical proposition
She was the winner the judges

But it was a liars competition

these are the last words you'll hear
From me there's no protest
But I'd like to see appear
An honest liars contest

Since it had nothing to do with luck
Let these words forever harass
cause I think you all suck

you gave me and shove it up

I woke up this morning,
Believe me, I was ready to play.
For those of you
Who are unaware
Today's a gargantuan day.
Electrifying excitement
Alive and in the air.
There's nothing else quite like it
For anyone to compare.
Pine tar, rosin fragrance
And that of fresh cut grass.
The end of the baseball season
Has now come to pass.
Magnificent sound when a baseball
Contact’s a baseball bat.
Completing a walk-off homer
With a doffing of the cap.
The AL meets the NL
In world serious matter.
The loser goes home all alone
Disgraced and completely shattered.
Don't think for a moment
It was all fun and games.
It was a tough and very long season.
Even heartbreaking pain.
There was plenty of travel
Cold and heat.
Upset victories and
Humiliating defeat.
Baserunning blunders
Pitches gone wild.
Tears of joy
While others cried like a child.
Playing for a championship
Is tougher than seems.
Now it has come this
Living a baseball dream.
There were 30 teams that started
Now there are only 2 teams left.
Now we're going to crown the one
Who proves to be the best.
God bless America
Home of the brave and free.
Many gave up everything
For this game..you..and me.
Stand up and remember
Those who have departed.
It's the best of seven series
So let's get this party started.
Let's play ball!

The Palpitation of Orlando, Florida

THE PALPITATION OF ORLANDO, FLORIDA (USA)

Decimation on its face through mass execution and hate.
Just another night out painting the town.
No reason to perceive the unsound.
Out of the blue moon a gargantuan came into form.
In denial of himself, “Oscar” he could be called.
His name broadcasted is Omar.
He was seeking an award for what he stood for.
Over a selected lot he stood to devastate.
Ruminating a scene of terror and anxiety to the undue fatalities, methodical carnage and mayhem savagely assaulted every tenth woman or man he encroached upon.

The pulse of the environment did not reply.
They only wanted to save each other lives.
The demographics profligately made a holocaust halo sage as German’s did Jews in their heyday.
A popular gay spot was viciously attacked.
Orlando, Florida (USA) massacre is the deadliest yet.

We light a candle for the victims of Orlando terrorist attack that were massively executed - slaughtered by the confused.
Vigil saliently given.
The palpitation of Orlando, Florida is now in a nation’s memory.

My name is Gladys I'm a fox with long ears
I'm Boris the bat with hyper extended ears
They call me Millie a wise old owl
With really really long ears
Watch out here comes monsoon
The elephant with gargantuan ears
We all have long ears And we all agree
If we could do it all over again we would
Have Spocks ears that look the coolest
And live long and prosper, like mr. Spock

An Ancient New Clear Menace Godzilla

A Rupture … the Ground Shakes …
In 1954 … did something Awake?
For what was unleashed from the Atomic Mushroom Cloud?
A Horror that Skreeornked So Loud?
A Mystery that would Cloud,
A Walking Fossil of Horror,
That Serves a Feast of Terror,
Marking Mankind's Errors...
The Legacy of the Palaeozoic,
Surviving easily Extinction from the Mesozoic,
To the Modern Cenozoic,
The Depths Deep Down…
The Looming Booming Sound …
For the Skies are Crimson Red…
The Building of Mankind’s Dread …
When the Mist had Clearer…
He would be Greatly Feared …
For the Nuclear Fallout … a Great Panic and Shout-Out…
The Ancient Beast emerged and Marked his Presence,
His Veins Coursed with New Clear Essence,
His Eyes Glowed Yet So Intense,
Yet his Anger well beyond Incensed!
For the Ignorance of Science … the Consequence of Arrogance…
You have created a Creature … of Destruction,
For the World Shall Cry with Terror … at his Resurrection…
Be the Land or the Ocean … He is the Palaeozoic Gargantuan!
Towering Hundreds … this be no gross Exaggeration!
For his target Civilization …
The Radioactive Doomsday,
To Try to Fight Him … only your Doom you delay,
From Tokyo Bay Yesterday…
To perhaps New York Today!
Streets lined with Rubble,
To Fight Him … you’re asking for Trouble,
Another Kaiju – you better pray you are not Doubled…
His Victims Cry and Crumble,
His Power So Great … even if he Stumbles,
For whilst his Strength is backed with Spines and a Tail … of Uncalculated Length,
His greatest Power … was unleashed this Hour,
From the moment the Spines Glowed …
His Terror Unfolds …
The Rumbling … then the Unleashing,
Of the Atomic Beam Breath!
Or yet worst … be it his Spiral Beams of Death!
For then he walks off …
His mind aloft …
For the Bellowing Roar,
Meant he would come back for More…
For He is your Embodiment of a Nightmare…
For he is Godzilla … KAIJU KING … waiting for a Challenge … if you Dare …

Earth-2

Earth

Mono syllables are potent
But are best left untouched
They call for a gargantuan grasp.

For this monumental mono
Commonplace,though
With a contemporary spin,
A monologue just wont do.

And without a twin,
Its original ware ,hard and soft ,
Ever a win-win

Holder of holocausts
Moulder of magnificence
Fairly fed on presaging gods

Fielding primordial fate
Flourishing and floundering
Female-male fecundity

Llipid life limpet like stuck
In non- finite lines, measured out
And treasured nonetheless
In miles and guiles,
Millennia and manias
