Best Fragmenting Poems

Psychedelic

In transit through the time-zones, trails her colours everywhere,
Her spectrographic spectrums lance ethereal through the air,
Fragmenting rainbow spears and curves of bending light,
Arcing jet-streams counterpoint with sunspots blinding bright.
And in the dreams I have of her beneath blown skies of tangerine,
Angelic, incandescent, paints the sweetest forms I’ve ever seen.

Elated on the desert winds she flickers some prismatic ghost,
Tripping ruined beauty from each pillar to each mystic post,
Deep emerald light refracted as cracked ice in shining eyes,
A telepathic temptress breathing winter sleep and summer sighs.
And in the morning sun that kisses glacial seas of bathtub blue,
She walks the dunes of memory, on golden beaches combing through.

Rising Above the Fray

i read indulgence mid scripted words

breaking all the rules and then some,

what be greater than gutting & swallowing

uttermost concentration of language

critically consummated or otherwise,

communing within written ideologies

something profoundly reverent or

perhaps deliberate liberating nonsense,

nonetheless commonsensical compunction to

the discerning foresightedness of poets

& enduring escape artists 'tween psyche's

hallucinations & declarations

about analytically anomalous analgesics

and mellisonant melancholy metonymy,

rising above the fray of brutally alliterated

annotations fragmenting & fracturing dimensions,

steel blades sharpening anthologies' imperfect isms

inferring resoluteness 'tween deductive reasoning,

willing exposure imparting quintessential bollocks

literally grasping mercilessly melded metaphors

courageous enough to virtually be aptly bled,

plunged beneath swords' inky touchstones

Naturalism

Planetary omnipresence resonates within, a vibrance slowly fading. Tears of a fragmenting era stain the divine order of gaia. A wavelength underestimated slowly changes frequency upon desolation, a universal heartbeat fading away.

Oh, moaning forest and plants comely,
Birdies all murmuring a sweet chorus;
Trees high above create a ceiling,
The wind whispering and weeping wildly.
And in my dream, I am dreaming,
I am lost in a tangled green forest;
And in the green, I am me, me only.

Oh, blazing colors of delight,
Fragmenting images so hypnotic;
This fantasy haven sumptuous,
A night quite bright with wild sights.
I stroll about presumptuous,
And I am ethereal, exotic;
I love this dream, dreading daylight.

Oh, little sea horse with wings,
You really belong in water drifting;
But like a hummingbird you drink flowers;
I stand still staring at shimmering things.
I am caressed by soft rain showers,
And my imagination comes floating;
Then sweetly, joyfully, my heart sings.

Oh, moaning forest and plants comely,
Birdies all murmuring a sweet chorus;
Trees high above create a ceiling,
The wind whispering and weeping wildly.
And in my dream, I am dreaming,
I am lost in a tangled green forest;
And in the green I am me, me only.

I Wish I Knew How To Cry

i wish i knew how to cry
then indeed i would do so
i would sit down
break down like in hymn
lyrically, rhythmically wail
let the tears flood out
empty the soul
cool my puffy cheeks
i would cry till lord came back

you ask why, my brother, sister
it is simple
i would cry for the beggar in the dusty streets
hopeless,
homeless,
left to wallow in the whims of desperation

i would cry for the empty stomachs
the hungry wails of starving children
the drooped bare breasts of mother
with no fodder for the toddlers

i would cry for peace, or for lack of it
a country thrown into chaos
a country whose agenda is mismatched
propaganda, ill motives
politics of hatred,
fear left right center

i would cry for armageddon
for salvation of souls
for brother turning against brother
for the desolation of minds
dialects fragmenting souls
blood spill
tears shed
love lost
homes crushed
death...
yes,
i would cry for my country Kenya,
if only i knew how.

A Gathering of Crows

It seemed a million jabbering crows
And a black fragmenting of sky,
The murder caws, the shadow grows
A frantic pile upon the wide eye.
They clustered trees and pile the lines
Sizzling with power; evening came
In a pandemonium of noise, our minds
Dark curtains parted with flame.
Yet we look, and look at burning night
And did not understand the sight.

Those of us
who have had guilty pleasures
of owning valuable real property,
like a car
and rental property
and office equipment

Office buildings,
solar inverters,
and nuclear holocaust delivery systems
but not privately owned MBA degrees
or merely intellectual property
or more intimately owned emotional properties,

Those of us
who know the mixed blessings
of owning organic and technocratic fragments
of climate pathologized,
yet still breathing, planet Earth,
especially if taxable property,
have heard about depreciation of values
over their natural/mechanical life/utility
health/power time.

We might recall
depreciation of property value
decelerates more gradually as time marches forward,
barring any unfortunate head-on accidents,
flying and melting and fragmenting damage,
accelerating astronomical crises
eliminating long-term realistic health-wealth values.
Depreciated suddenly to total loss of asset value,
now a global junk-dealer liability.

Anyway,
just as depreciation decelerates over time,
appreciation accelerates empowering resilience
with time's enduring health/wealth cooperative life-experience,

Organic systems accelerate
robust cooperative integrity
over a deep learning nutritious multiculturing life-time
of Win/Win climax learning
deeply curving synergetic ego/eco-relationships,

Growing in good-humored co-investment priorities
for story telling and listening
to resonant fulfillment co-opportunities

Rather than continuing historic depreciated taking
and Win/Lose epic slow-losing ego/economic depressions,

Anti-systemic pathologies,
realistic predictions of global chaos.

Retributive injustice depreciations
slowly fade toward entropic disorganization,
just the suffering and loss opposite
of exponentially appreciative Win/Win compassion

Explicitly conscious
of living interdependently between and within
autonomously natural depreciative law
and appreciative open-systemic/spiritual
yang/yin multicultural
left/right psychological
self/other empowering
appreciative
spiraling
deep listening and wide learning order
re-mixing depreciating curses
into old-aged exponentially appreciating blessings
of co-opportune climaxing climates.

Empire

Bleach floods over British Empire blues
Prussian wealth fragmenting into rust
Ochre pouring from the distilleries of eyes
Hidden downturned under peek-a-boo fringes
The lustre of ink wells overflowing where
The sun never sets. Lace and horses make
A violent mix like sulphuric acid, a maggot
Eating at the Boadicea face of pooling silk
Like the flag of an Antoinette bourgeoisie
A touch above the socket, dark in their discolouration
Hearty in their malcontent, those peek-a-boo girls
Tying ribbons on sheep transformed into roaring lions
A maypole of bondage, the Spitfire flies.

the armitage

a decent soul blest a grant of images, illustrates beginnings reflecting throughout, occasions from the first expended journey when the hourglass stretched... abandoned worn diaries fragmenting chapters riddled with episodes, loosely bordered in leather, amassing dust...twilight dreamingly drifts near midnight twinkling stars, drooping its points into dawn's golden sleigh and graces a constant star...alone neath natural light swapped for lonelier nocturnal light, and a smile on a face dons from smiles narrowly shared, yet gently eyes serve an absence, and untouched renewed breathes life,

a paired life courses
here and there prompts everywhere ~
on earth earning wings

Overt Detriment

Involute ascendency of an omniscient detriment encased a
crystalline fragility fragmenting. Yearning a periphery absolved
stains the insidious chronicle red. A fading feeling of self
treason is absolute utopia asunder. Subtly i digress yet
paramount is this polarity diverse within me. Caged withing a
translucent spirit my voracious depths untold stagnate abound.

North Shore

Through the pane we could react to a future
  Held under the brightest star
In a sea glaze mass of imperfection.
At the back,
the harbor clanked and toiled our youth away.
Nights so careless in the beginning,
Became slower, burnished eyes fragmenting.
Down in the basement
Sea winds battered doors and opened fear.
Summer was omnipresent and beautiful.
Floating on the waves gave solace
When youth and ignorance leapt in.
The still quiet of the night,
The six mile stretch,
The beat of the tide in vision.
The composition.
  Lying on the seagrass spree
  Awakened in highlights,
  In awe of being there.
  Felt everything.
Walking along the small pier at night,
When the winds listened,
My soul in harness,
To transcend the night into living.

Fragmenting the Oscillatory Destiny

Fragmenting the oscillatory destiny, bounding amongst damnation. Tyranny divine
halts a bullet mid shot to incite havoc throughout your skull, slowly dissolving reality.
Beneath a sensuous veil the vivisection allures a prophetic dissociation. A cryptic
dissension of virtues hidden, poisoning infecting scathing. All angles considered yet
am I trapped willingly?

The Great Paradox

The great paradox,
A mighty creative star-burst,
A once unified power,
Dynamically out-sourcing in a display,
Of awesome light and heat,
Of gravitational attraction and boyant levity,
The genesis of life as we know it,
And how it weaves through our days,
And whispers into our night journeys,
A wonderburst of unknown origins,
From which a universe was birthed, ,
Ununiform and creatively diverse,
And here a riddle exists,
For within the unfoldment,
Of a chaotic, broken mess,
Contains a sublime secret,
That beyond mind mazes,
And numbing, repetitive cycles,
Fragmenting in habitual motion,
That beyond all this angst and addiction,
A great Loving Peace pulsates,
A Universal Heart-beat,
Individuated as our own deepest wisdom,
With this we enter the Xmas fray,
Calm and living in Eternity,
And yet playing in time and space,
Transcending yesterday's truth,
Love amidst chaos,
Tolerating those who dwell in the past,
Accepting the mystery of a universe,
That is seemingly not unfolding,
The way it should,
And yet knowing that Love exists,
Love behind the mega drama,
Love despite all else,
The great paradox!

Premium Member A Dark Nightmare

A dark nightmare-
        dementia is a living Hell
that grinds the mind away while one's aware-
        it's crumbling very well.
  Lewy Body Dementia- grim adversity;
unlike Alzheimer's- which dulls one's reality,
    this victim feels mind's sparsity-
the pain of it fragmenting- utterly aware.

              New call defines;
        was labeled first as Parkinson's.
Though Lewy may show physical declines-
        worse are brain afflictions;
  hallucinations, memory loss, resonate-
  while victims know inside- these changes dominate;
no cure- just death will terminate.
With Hell on earth- a shattered family resigns.
